Lexi was amazing!

Lexi and the amazing staff at 5th avenue were so helpful, extremely professional and really made me feel like a princess!
I would HIGHLY recommend them to any bride to be or to anyone looking for salon/makeup services.
Yes, they may be a little more on the pricey side, depending on which stylist you choose, but I highly recommend Lexi (their bridal specialist and one of the top stylist there)

Lara and her team did an incredible job at my wedding helping me and my girls get ready. She communicated with me consistently leading up the wedding. They made the day feel special and fun while we were getting ready. I love they they came to our hotel, it made the whole day and process easier and convenient. Definitely glad I hired her and the team.

Beautiful work along with fantastic and personal customer service

The 5th Avenue Event Hair and Makeup Concierge Team were amazing and the entire process with them was seamless from start to finish. Lara was my main point of contact throughout the communication process and was fantastic! Any questions I had were responded to promptly via e-mail. In initial communication, we had talked over the phone, which made me feel more at ease with who I would be working with since it gave me a chance to speak to them personally rather than just through e-mail communication. Additionally, they were very flexible regarding what time I would need to be ready by. There were some other factors that I forgot to incorporate when telling the team what time I needed to be ready, but they were accommodating to my request for changing the time.
Maryanne was my hair and makeup artist for the day of my wedding and was absolutely wonderful to work with! She styled both my mother and I to exactly what I wanted and more and made us feel comfortable in the process. She made a few tweaks in the look that I was hoping to have, but for the better. She added curls and volume to my hair, which made the look even more beautiful. Overall, I am very impressed and satisfied with how our hair and makeup turned out and I could not have asked for anything more.
Working with these two ladies was a wonderful experience as they were professional and gave great customer service the entire time. I would strongly recommend 5th Avenue Hair and Makeup Concierge Team for any bride who not only wants to look stunning on her beautiful day, but also is looking for an economically viable option. Love 5th Avenue for my wedding!

Kyla Shay and her team were amazing. They were able to meet the wedding party at the hotel by 5am to have us all ready to board the cruise ship by 10am. I would recommend this team to any bride and her wedding party.

Upon booking we realized that this is a company that contracts out artists in the area you are getting married. I was worried about this at first but they are good at coordinating the right people for you. I was also worried about arranging everything through email online so I called and talked to Laura. She spent so much time explaining everything to me and made me more comfortable. All the payments went through viewpost which was easy to use, however, there is a credit card fee… When I planned my hair and make-up trial Lizzie was able to provide her place since I was not staying in a hotel at the time. I was nervous about how my hair was going to look the day of because the trial did not include extensions. I spent too much time worrying over it because when the time came the stylists knew exactly what to do with the extensions and my hair looked gorgeous. The only thing I wish I would have known prior to purchasing was that they were a one-time use.

The day of the wedding my hair and make-up were absolutely perfect!!!! I felt so beautiful!!!!!! The three stylists arrived early and were set up in no time. They paid attention to detail and took their time on each of my bridesmaids. They were quick to listen to requests and change make up or hair to each of their desires. Also, they did touch ups on everyone prior to walking out. Yaritza, my stylist, listened to my concerns about having a more natural look and she created exactly what I had pictured in my mind of how I wanted to look on my wedding day. If only I could recreate it every day! =) Thank you for making me feel and look spectacular on my wedding day.

Everything worked out great. The makeup artist, Kerry, was amazing but the lady who had my extensions and was going to do our hair had car trouble and never made it. Kerry truly went above and beyond to make things right. She did our hair in addition to our makeup and when we were running short on time she followed us to the venue and helped out with absolutely anything she could. On top of that, she insisted on refunding everything we paid for our hair. I was incredibly grateful and impressed with her professionalism. Great experience.

Well when I booked them I couldnt do a trail before because I did a destination wedding. I was very concern about the result because I had a such bad experience with somebody else. So I booked this group. When I was reading the contract I felt very complicated with too many rules. Like you must send to them a picture and all that. It is actually help them and save time. In the end they did a phenomenal job. I love my hair and makeup and all my bridesmaid, mom, mother-in-law love the result. I would def recommend them again. Good luck girls.

I would recommend these artists. The only thing I would do different is to have themwork on the Bride first if they have a small bridal party. I only had 4 people including myself in the bridal party and I ended up needing last minute adjustments after I out on my dress since I was so tine crunched.

I had my destination wedding in Ponce, Puerto Rico and I was able to book this company last minute for my bridal hair and make up. Everything turned out great, my stylist was Jennissee who came from a distance just to be able to doll me up for my wedding day. She did my hair just how I asked and my make up was the talk of the night. Everyone loved her work and she was beautiful and very sweet. I love that she was dedicated to make sure everything was perfect. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reasonably priced make up and hair artist.

Because my bride-to-be is from another country and not accustomed to dealing with people here, I have been involved in virtually every aspect of our upcoming wedding. I have had the distinct pleasure of dealing with Lara, and the first thing that got my attention was the care and concern that came across in her voice. I had a comfort level with her immediately and I knew that it was her sincere desire to make this day everything my bride could possibly hope for. This was very important from my perspective because, as I always say, people don't care how much you know, they want to know how much you care. The great part about life is that you get to make choices, and I can assure you that this will be one choice you will not regret. You owe it to yourself to check them out and experience what I have just described.

My wedding was in the Keys in June. Linda was amazing-she came early and spent nearly the entire day with us. She was wonderful to work with and did the most beautiful job on my hair and make up as well as my bridesmaids. We couldn't have been happier with her!

I had quite a large number of girls who had to get both their hair and make up done and a very early wedding. We had to be finished by 7:30 in the morning. The 5th Avenue Glamour team was up for the challenge, arriving at 1 am to get the job done. Elly from the makeup team and Mikayla from the hairstylist team did a wonderful job and weren't phased by the odd time at all. The teams were friendly and professional and were able to finish in perfect time for the pictures. The hairstyles and makeup looked fantastic for all of the girls and they kept up well for the wedding.

I was so relieved that we were able to keep within time as one of my biggest worries for the wedding was to run into any issues that would cause us to be late. In the days leading up to the wedding, Lara kept me updated, which I appreciated since those days were quite hectic. Having her reach out to me was comforting and let me know that the teams had everything handled. I would definitely recommend the 5th Ave Glamour Team for their professionalism and their quality.

I forgot the name of who did my hair and makeup, but I was extremely impressed with her abilities and professionalism. My hair is very difficult to hold curls, but I could tell that she did everything she could to make my hair look exactly how I wanted. My makeup looked beautiful, and if I wanted something changed, she changed it with no issues! She was very nice, and even though my hairs lack of cooperation put us on a bit of a time crunch, she kept her cool and the wedding was on time.

I was very impressed with both my hair and make up artist. I got married on a cruise ship out of Florida and was a little worried about time as there were 5 people getting there hair done and 2 with make up. I reached out to the team 2 days before and mentioned my concern. The morning of my wrddijg, two women showed up and knocked everyone out in no time. I was very appreciative of their speedy work as it gave me time to get out of the hotel room without 10 people running through my room. All of the hair and make up were perfectly done!!!!

I had a large bridal party (including mother's of the Bride & Groom) and can't say enough about how amazing the hair and makeup team were. Dion & Hendra created gorgeous, individual looks for each lady that held up for our 12-hour day! And, Morgan is an absolute artist with hair. She was able to create unique styles for various hair types that lasted and enhanced each persons features. This team really went above and beyond to make the entire bridal party feel special. Lara's coordination, communication and responsiveness were very professional. I highly recommend this team for any Brides's special day.

The girls did a great job. They gave me exactly what I wanted. Morgan and Dina made me happy with my results. A couple of my bridesmaids were being unnecessarily difficult and Morgan and Dina took it in good stride. I would definitely recommend them to any girl looking for beauty services for their wedding. They were great conversation and made me feel relaxed and comfortable which was amazing for it being my wedding day.

These ladies were awesome! Lara worked with me to make sure I had my needs met, even though I got in touch with them pretty last minute (pro-tip: brides, it's true when they that many MUAs get booked months in advance!). I'm so happy they were still available to come to us to do our makeup.

MaryAnn, who did makeup for me, my bridesmaids, and my mom, was very talented. She was able to make us look special and done up for a special occasion, but we all still looked natural and like ourselves. She gave me fake eyelashes that somehow made it through the buckets of (happy!) tears that I cried all day and makeup that didn't smudge off on the 100+ people I hugged and kissed all day.

On the professionalism side, MaryAnn was on time, very professional, responsive, flexible and calm in the midst of my nervous and sometimes anxious energy. The fact that she stayed calm (and non judgey!) when I had a mini-breakdown helped me calm down, too. She was great to work with. Lara was also very responsive and flexible. She answered all my questions quickly, communicated Fifth Ave.'s process and needs clearly, was easy to get in touch with, and was able to ensure that I got what I needed. Both Lara and MaryAnn were also really nice and fun to work with!

On pricing: Their prices looked about the same as or slightly lower than the other prices I was able to find, and the work was beautiful, so seemed like good value to me.

I'd highly recommend Fifth Ave. for your wedding hair and makeup needs.

I'm from the Spokane area, but my wedding was in a barn, near Pullman, I had a very difficult time finding an affordable person for my hair and make-up that could do airbrush and a difficult vintage up-do. At first I was nervous having Fifth Ave, do my hair and make-up, only because I didn't have a practice run through! Boy I sure glad I trusted all the reviews on here! Fifth Avenue truly made my wedding day spectacular! They worked with me for a little under a year and were extremely flexible to any changes I made and kept in great contact. Brooke provided airbrush makeup, lashes and hair. I showed her a picture of how I wanted my eye makeup and hair and she did exactly like the picture. I was very impressed with her work. She also did my 11 year old's makeup and hair, and my daughter fell in love with her. They are a little pricey, but worth the money for a big event. The on location is very convenient. She was on time as scheduled. I would highly recommend!

The hair and makeup team did a fantastic job making me and all my ladies look our best on my Wedding day! They were very calm and kept to their timeframes, were able to roll with some changes, and kept a positive attitude. For someone who doesn't usually wear full makeup, I honestly didn't even notice the airbrush makeup.

This was my first time getting my makeup done professionally, and it came out absolutely amazing! I had airbrushed makeup done, and I loved it! It looked so good, and lasted all night! These services were for the Mother of the Bride and the Mother of the Groom. An outstanding experience. Our gal was tremendous! Fun, creative, professional...I couldn't have asked for a better day. Very happy with the results. My make up was beautiful for my wedding pictures. A little touch up needed under the eyes during the reception for smudges but that always happens to me. The girls were wonderful with me and my bridal party and there were a lot of compliments on our hair! Thank you so much for making me beautiful for my perfect day.

The experience was wonderful! The convenience of having Laura come to our house was priceless. Really reduced the stress! She was a pleasure to have and calmed us all down. The Fifth Avenue on Location team was fantastic!! Brooke was my hair and makeup artist for my wedding and she was incredible! She captured exactly the look I was hoping to acheive - old hollywood glam!! I HIGHLY recommend this team for any event. My wedding was at sunrise on the beach in St Augustine which required the team to meet me at my hotel (Hilton Bayfront) at 3:45am. Everything worked perfectly: hair, make up and timing! I recommend the eyelashes. I never had used them before but I am so glad I did for the photos. Totally worth it! The makeup and eyelashes held up well for the 5 hours I wore it and easily came off with a makeup remover wipe afterwards.

Fifth Avenue on Location Hair and Make was great. I knew from the beginning that they will be part of my wedding vendors, I researched, read a lot of nice reviews about them on all wedding websites. I didn't even had a trial makeup/hair and omg I looked all dolled up, my makeup/hair was just so amazing. Thank you so much Patricia - you did an amazing job. My bridesmaids loved you!! You have this beautiful smile that makes us really comfortable and made it so easy for us. Smokey eyes, you got it:) thank you also to Virginia who did our hair!! Everyone loves their hairstyle- exactly what we wanted!! You ladies are perfect!!

Most especially thank you to Lara who is so understanding, answers all my questions, she is very easy to talk to!!

Hiring Fifth Avenue was the best decision I made as a destination bride! All I had to do was sit in my hotel room as Lara did my hair and make-up. She was friendly and I looked AMAZING on my wedding day!

My hair dresser was the owner and she was really nice and sweet. She gave me tips for my hair and eyebrows. She talked while doing my hair about many things and it was great because they were great stories that calm your nerves

Laura and her daughter did amazing jobs on me, my bridesmaids and my mother's hair and makeup. They brought my ideas to life and everyone looked beautiful! So glad I hired them! For communication purposes, it is best to have one point of contact, such as the main hairstylist that is doing your event, otherwise it can get confusing who you are talking to.

Lara and Jordan were very flexible in fitting me in last minute to do a trial and wedding hair and make-up. I live in NYC and they were able to work me in and do my trial here in NYC and then two weeks later, do my hair and airbrush make-up at my actual wedding in FL. Both were fantastic and seriously made me feel gorgeous and flawless on my wedding day. They were willing and able to change little things from my trial that made my wedding day hair and make up perfect for me. I would pick them a thousand times again if I had a choice! Kiran from Fifth Ave Hair & Makeup showed up on time, and communicated with me very well!! I loved my hair and so did my guests! She was so flexible in terms of the hairstyle, and was able to show me and ask me how I liked it each step along the way. I showed her some pictures of what I wanted, and she was able to recreate it and customize it. Her ability to make hair "not move" was amazing, not one strand was out of place after a whole day :)

I worked with Chelsea for my wedding. She did my hair along with my moms and grandmas and some bridesmaids hair and make up. She was OUTSTANDING. She blew my out of the water with how amazing she was. She understood exactly what I was going for with my bridal look and she made it happen. She was super fun to work with, on time, and even sang along with me and my bridesmaids in a Broadway medley! I was nervous b/c I have a lot of curly hair but she immediately made me feel like I was in great hands. My hair came out even better than I could have imagined. Seriously- it was insane! I am so grateful to Chelsea and I wish her so much success!!

Lara was awesome. I'm not your typical girly girl who has dreamed of her wedding her whole life and I had really had no clue what I wanted done for my hair/make-up when she arrived. She listened to me say what I liked and what I didn't and she made me look absolutely beautiful. I did a cruise wedding out of Port Canaveral, FL coming from Columbus, OH. I was a little worried that I wasn't going to be able to do a trial run because of logistics, but I had nothing to worry about. I would absolutely recommend Fifth Ave Hair & Make-Up to anyone! It will help make your big day less stressful.

Lara was fantastic to work with! She made me look like I had the most beautiful set of hair...where in reality I'm always very self conscious about my thin hair. I truly believe that my wedding pictures are prettier because of the hairstyle she created. All my bridesmaids loved being pampered and having their hair and/or makeup done. Jordan was great too! Lara was right on time, calmed my nerves, and even drove me down the road to arrange my veil, hair and hair wreath. My hair and makeup were beautiful and the finishing touches for the fairy tale ambiance I wanted for my wedding! My wedding was just this past Friday, 1/17/14, but I have to write this review now because Lara is so amazing and everyone needs to know!!!! She traveled to Puerto Rico to be by my side and did an even better job than I can ever imagine! My hair and makeup were stunning - everyone the day of and anyone who has since seen pictures comments on it!!! My bridesmaids looked like beautiful dolls, too! She's so experienced and works quickly and impeccably. And I cannot even begin to describe the wonderful, friendly, generous, kind hearted individual that Lara is. I was able to work with Lara, Kyla-Shae and Jordan on my wedding day. It was an incredibly stressful week, but somehow when they walked in with their smiles I felt at ease and knew that great professionals were there to help pull my dream bridal look together. Our hair looked amazing. They were able to re-create hair from pictures beautifully and even knew exactly how to style a few of the bridesmaids that weren't sure what they wanted to do. My makeup turned out beautifully and help up throughout the entire event (even though I'd shed many tears of joy). I am glad that I had the privilege of having them with me on my big day.

Wedding Wire was an incredible resource for me as my wedding was a last minute (3 weeks to plan) kind of wedding with the location in a different state than where I live. My friend found Fifth Avenue on Location Hair Artistry and Makeup for me on Wedding Wire and I called to get a price quote and availability. The receptionist was super sweet and accommodating and Laura (the owner) was AMAZING!! She was not only available but flexible when we changed our wedding plans last minute from Sunday to Saturday due to the weather. Lara and Jordan were awesome. We stayed on Disney property and they were able to come to our hotel room to get us ready. Lara was able to give me a hair style that combined a few looks that I loved. Jordan did my makeup that lasted throughout the day and was exactly what I was looking for. Lara even redid my sister's hair after it didn't match what she wanted without any trouble. Both ladies were amazing and I can't thank them enough for everything.

There was a snow storm on my wedding day and she found a way to make it to my hotel to ensure that my makeup was done. She did a beautiful job and I am so grateful.
