Steve and crew were simply amazing.

They were very professional and most importantly accommodating.

Excellent Service

Steve and his team were super professional and you can tell this isn’t their first wedding. He reached out and knew the schedule of the day beforehand. He showed up to our homes on time to capture “getting ready” footage, and was there for every moment of the day. He’s super friendly and easy to work with and I was able to get my footage back in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend this business for your wedding needs!

Fall 2022 Wedding

From my first message to Steve from 5iveStar Media Productions, I knew we had found our videographer. We had an excellent initial call where he reviewed the company's packages and really sold his services. When we were ready to book, the whole process was seamless. On our wedding day, he and his partner were upbeat, friendly and engaging. They understood the assignment and delivered!!

Steven from 5iveStar Media Productions is AMAZING. He was the videographer for my wedding day. We truly enjoyed working with him. He made our special day, even more special. From the beginning, he had great communication. He answered all of our questions and helped us choose the best package for our wedding day. We had 2 videographers. One at my getting ready venue (Steven) and another at my groom's getting ready. Both were awesome. My bridal party LOVED Steve. He kept us laughing and smiling and made sure he captured all of our special moments. We had a lot of fun. Also, my husband said the same thing about his experience with his videographer from 5iveStar that was capturing the grooms getting ready. My wedding party and guest constantly asked for his information to use at future events because they loved his personality! Fast forward to today, we got our wedding highlights video back. Steve Young is your guy. He is so on top of everything! He called multiple times leading up to the event to ensure all the details were worked out and nothing would be missed the day of. The Great Steve Young

No, no. I know what you’re thinking. Not that Steve Young. The legendary QB of the 49ers. This Steve Young is better. From the very start, he was such a professional and just has such a great attitude about life. He really made us feel like we were special on our special day and covered all the bases. He even called multiple times leading up to the wedding so he knew EXACTLY what we wanted. The day of, him and his colleague showed up well before the actual wedding to learn the layout of the venue and meet the party. I have zero complaints about Steve and you won’t either if you book him. #foreveryoung. Steve is the man!

Amazing Company

This crew was beyond amazing . From day one Steve was incredible very professional and explained too me what my day was going consist of . His team made sure they had my highlights for the day so nothing would go wrong . On the morning off they filmed and we didn’t even notice them that’s how good they was . Jim, the owner, was very friendly and accommodating during the planning process and was generous in explaining different video options and what to expect on wedding day. Steve, the videographer, was also great to work with. He called prior to wedding day to run through the timeline and shotlist, and to make sure that he was on the same page and understood the bride and groom’s expectations. On wedding day, Steve arrived early to set up his equipment and got along well with everyone in the wedding party. He also worked well with the photographer (from a different company) and suggested some great shot ideas. We can’t wait to see and share the finished product!

Awesomest video team in the world!!

5ive Star Media has the best employees ever! Jim, the owner, took my calls any time (even during sporting events!) and responded to my emails quickly and in detail. Steve the camera man was top of the line! He caught EVERYTHING, both the personal events AND all the still shots that showed how we put a lot of time into planning the day... he caught it all! I especially loved how he got perfect angles during the ceremony, plus he stayed til the end... a great guy! A keepsake that’s worth the investment!

My daughter wasn’t sure that we needed videography in addition to photography but, wow, are we glad she decided that we did!
We had the pleasure of working with Jim Ratliff and Steve Young who worked tirelessly to capture every moment and angle! Jim and Steve immediately clicked with everyone as they moved about to capture special moments beginning with all the preparation in the morning and continuing throughout the day right up to the end of the reception.
The day was full, with many things happening separately. It went by so quickly that, without a video, we would have missed so much. We are so glad that we decided to select a videographer, and especially that we selected 5iveStar Media Productions. This video keepsake is definitely worth the investment!

Beyond our expectations!

5ive Star is absolutely amazing. Jim is very professional, compassionate, personable, generous, and really runs this business the way every business should be run. They answer the phone and emails very quickly and effectively. They make me feel like I'm the only one they are tending to, which I know is not the case. Their communication, answers, solutions and ultimately the final product are very individualized and personal, I'm not just another account number. Steve was our videographer and he was very professional, thorough and took amazing footage. He had done many shoots at our venue, Foxchase Manor in Manassas, so he was even more efficient, effective and stealth than we expected. Ed was amazing at editing, even incorporated personalized music we provided and completed the final product way ahead of schedule. We had a relatively typical south-asian wedding and were concerned if any video company would be able to adjust to the different elements at our event, however 5ive Star was incredible....you would think they were partially south-asian too!! All the elements of the video were beyond our expectations, really a treasure for a lifetime. Thank you 5ive Star!!

Amazing work and video quality

Wedding planning is no easy task. It can sometimes feel like vendors just see you as dollar signs rather than a couple preparing for the most important day of their lives. It never felt that way with 5ive star media productions. The videographer was probably the only stress-free vendor experience I had. It was such an easy choice. From the beginning, Jim responded by phone and email very quickly and was very honest about pricing and willing to work with my budget. Steve Young was my videographer. He called me a few weeks before the wedding to discuss the timeline and other important details. He gave me his cell number and told me I could reach out any time I wanted. We called a few days before (more for reassurance than for anything else; stress is magnified days before the wedding) and talked a bit more about additional details. Steve arrived at my ceremony before I even did and everything was already set up. He was extremely professional and very friendly all throughout the night and captured all the important moments with the lead camera (actually, he captured every single moment since two of the cameras were on tripods, there was not a missed moment!). I even have videos of my husband and I mingling during dinner. With the two videos, I have my maid of honor's speech AND my reaction to it. I could not have asked for more, everything was perfect. Steve was everywhere but it never felt like he was in the way.
I received my raw footage and highlights a few days after my wedding. The quality of the videos is amazing. I cannot express how much I recommend this company. Amazing quality without the price tag!

From the first conversation with Jim, I felt confident that 5ive Star was the best videographer for my daughter's wedding. They more than delivered a quality video. We are so happy with the result, and my daughter keeps saying how happy she is to have it. We got to see moments that would have been missed. With 2 videographers they were able to capture some treasured moments. Delivery time was faster than expected! Communication excellent! Fantastic Experience

Initially my fiance and I weren't planning to have a videographer for our wedding. It wasn't on our list of priorities and we thought it would be too expensive. But after talking to a few friends, we decided to at least look into it and that if we could find the right package for the right price, we'd do it. And lo and behold, Jim and his team were those folks! We had such a great experience working with them! Outstanding in every way!

Jim and his 5iveStar Media Productions team are absolutely fantastic! We decided shortly before our wedding to hire a videographer to capture our special day. We are overwhelmingly thankful that we selected 5iveStar. Jim was so easy to work with throughout the entire process. He met with us before the wedding and went over all the details of what he does. He then asked for our needs and wants for our wedding and reception. Jim and his wife Barbara were our videographers and we could not be any happier with their professionalism, attention to detail, friendliness, and all that they were able to capture on our special day! They also worked very well with our photographer throughout the day. Our outdoor wedding by the water, butterfly release, bubbles, live band, dancing, toasts, and cherished family and friends were all beautifully presented in their finished product! There are no words to describe how amazing Jim and his 5iveStar team were throughout the whole wedding planning experience. Their responsiveness and attentiveness to our wedding day requests was on point and the end result of our wedding video was above and beyond. Jim was fabulous when there was miss-communication with our event coordinator but he handled it beautifully and with the utmost professionalism. We hired 5iveStar Media Productions for our wedding day videography. Jim and his wife did an absolutely amazing job capturing all the moments from our wedding ceremony and reception. The entire company from beginning to end made me feel like they wanted my event to be special and with the help of everyone they did. Jim Ratliff the President, made sure I had exactly what I wanted in a video and did not try to get me to purchase anything additional, but he did send me additional options on the contract if I wanted to add them. They were flexible with payment arrangements and everything. Ed took all my payments and returned my calls quickly.
Steve was very professional from beginning to end. He hit the floor running with what and when we needed. I cannot wait to see my video. I plan on posting it or having 5iveStar Media Productions post my video.

I hired FiveStar for our wedding and they did a FANTASTIC job! Steve and Ed were hired to do our wedding and I must say Steve and Ed did an outstanding job! Steve came to my suite and took the most wonderful video of me and my bridal party! Steve captured the right moments for my husband and I. Steve was very engaging, made us laugh and feel comfortable, but very professional. Ed was very professional and he edited our video. Thank you Ed for the most AMAZING video we could ask for! Let’s start from the beginning…

Before I signed the contract with 5iveStar Media Productions, I read almost every review. I still wasn’t sold so I emailed the company a handful of questions. To my surprise, they quickly responded, answering each question but I still wasn’t sold. Did I forget to be mention I can be anal to times?

I was in need of a conference call to ask more questions. Their team was cheerfully and willing to have a conference call with me. After the call, I was just about sold. I then requested a sample DVD. They were more than happy to send. After reading more reviews and watching the sample DVD several times I was sold!

After I signed the contract and submitted my deposit. They reached out to me to go over everything in detail. They also informed me they would contact me two more times leading up to the wedding.

I received both calls they informed me of and was overly pleased with their friendliness. I was also pleased with the suggestions that were provided to me regarding my wedding.

The day of the wedding I knew exactly what to expect because 5iveStar Media Productions provided every detail to me a head of time.

Everyone LOVED Steve at the wedding! It felt like we knew him forever! After the wedding, Steve sent my husband and me one of the most touching emails ever, thanking and congratulating us.

As I said before, I can be anal. It took me forever to do my part regarding the wedding DVD (picking songs etc.). I finally did my part and made my requests and it was as if they were waiting by the computer and phone for my submissions and requests.

I couldn’t have picked a more superior videography company. Trust me, you will regret not hiring 5iveStar Media Productions.

Our wedding was on January 7, 2017, and 5iveStar was absolutely amazing throughout our entire wedding process. They are extremely reasonably priced for what you are purchasing, and I LOVE that they provide your entire wedding on DVD along with a Highlight video instead of just a Highlight video (which is what most companies are providing these days).

Jim was extremely responsive with package questions and sending over sample videos in the beginning, as well as continuing to answer questions up through the time they were mailing out our DVD's.

Steve was our videographer, and he was wonderful to work with. He made us feel 100% comfortable, and had a great presence and rapport with our guests. He did an amazing job with filming, and was the friendliest person to work with. We absolutely love our highlight video, and can't wait to wait the wedding DVD's over and over again :)

We contacted 5ive Star Media and met at their editing studio and booked them that same night. Our Wedding was in Rehobeth Beach, Delaware at the Sands Hotel right on the boardwalk. They did an excellent job and were very unobtrusive, plus, they got along great with our family and friends, as well as, working seamlessly with our photographer which was very important to the both of us. We just received our DVD's and our Blu-Rays and couldn't be happier. We highly recommend this videographer for couples looking for a great video at a great price.

We booked 5iveStar Media Productions based upon the great job they did at my Sister's Wedding. We were lucky enough to get Jim Ratliff as our videographer because he also filmed Becky's Wedding. WOW! My husband and I were wishy-washy whether or not we were going to have a videographer for our wedding. We finally decided to have one but set a tight budget. We got quotes as high as $3000 and the company was unwilling to show us a sample of their work. Then, we found 5ive Star! We were immediately impressed with their responsiveness, affordable prices, and sample of work. We went with a videographer for the entirety of our wedding and a highlight video. Our videographer was AMAZING. We seriously felt like he was apart of our family. We had a very lively wedding which was a party all night, and the videographer managed to capture all these amazing moments. They were able to quickly edit the video and send it back to us. We were so in love with the video and they edited it perfectly! As soon as it was over, my husband and I looked at each other and were SO HAPPY we had gotten the wedding video and chosen 5ive Star! I cannot say enough good things about the company and their staff!

Jim who was our point of contact with 5iveStar Media Production did an excellent job connecting with us and providing us with every information we needed. Alex was the videographer assigned to us. He made sure to call us few days before the wedding to recapitulate on all necessary things/moments to capture on the wedding day. He made sure he had all the details of how we wanted to capture our wedding. He also gave us great tips to help him capture everything the best way possible. He did a fantastic job on the D-Day. As a wedding videographer myself, I have very high expecations for what I'd like to see in a wedding video. Jim and his team exceeded all of my expectations. They were completely unobtrusive throughout the day, we barely even noticed they were there. The footage they got was excellent - it captured all of the most memorable moments of our day and the footage and audio was crystal clear. The DVD we received was also superbly put together, and the we received it in a timely fashion. My wife and I have watched the highlights and full video a number of times and it feels like we're there, reliving that great day over and over again. Jim was also very helpful and responsive throughout the wedding process, and has even gone above and beyond helping advise me on improvements I can make with my own videography business. We were looking for the perfect videographer to capture the precious details of our August 1st wedding. 5iveStar was the first company I called. Steve called me back immediately and arranged to meet to show my fiancee and me what their company could offer. The packages were affordable and the wedding DVD that Steve showed us as an example of his work was perfect. We told Steve about ourselves and the plans we had for the wedding, and right away, he had ideas to share with us about how he would shoot our wedding. He was very funny and seemed very experienced and knowledgeable. I could tell he was the perfect person to capture the details of our wedding.

On the day of the wedding, Steve arrived early and was able to film the important moments before the wedding. The day went by so fast and I couldn't remember many of the details of the day. I couldn't wait to see all that I had forgotten or even missed.

Steve hand delivered the DVD s to my husband. We had a viewing party with the family. I don't know how Steve did it, but he managed to get all of our 100 guests on film at various moments of the day. Our family and friends enjoyed seeing themselves having a great time as they celebrated our union.

The DVD and Steve were absolutely amazing. I am happy I used 5iveStar for my wedding.

Jim was the videographer for my wedding and we were thrilled with the service we received. Jim communicated with us ahead of time to make sure everything was in order and made sure I felt comfortable. We were able to choose between several different packages to meet our price range and were really happy with how reasonable the prices were. As soon as Jim arrived he made sure to capture every moment, even an impromptu song I sang with my bridal party before we went down for the ceremony, which was really special. My other vendors, particularly my photographer, could not stop raving about how wonderful he was and how easy they were able to collaborate- Jim going so far as to offer to send her any stills from the video if she realized she was missing any shots. We never felt like he was being intrusive or in the way during any part of our wedding and he seemed genuinely excited about it all. I would absolutely recommend him and I can't wait to see the finished product.

We decided to use a videographer for our wedding and could not have made a better decision. We were lucky to get Jim Ratliff of 5iveStar Media Productions as our videographer. He and his assistant were wonderful to work with. Jim was very professional with all the details during the planning phase of our wedding. He was easy to reach and if we had to leave a message always responded promptly.

On short notice of our daughters upcoming surprise proposal, Jim at 5ive Star came through for us! He showed up on time with everything he said he would bring. After an extensive search we came across 5iveStar, reasonable price but most important excellent job! We have a blur of the reception and having family and friends come from overseas and out of town I was worried we didn't cheer and spend time with all of them, the video is the best proof we did, and we all danced the night away! Steve was our videographer, kind and professional, captured excellent shoots at our wedding in the church and reception, great editing and presentation of the DVD!
I was so pleased with the result, that I asked Ed , the editor, for the raw footage, thinking we could get extra funny moments, he was honest and advised us that we didn't need to buy it since he used most of it.
Our wedding video brings us tears and laughter, we couldn't be happier!

Steve, my videographer was fantastic! From our very first meeting he made me feel special and I felt very confident in his abilities. He was punctual, professional and made the day fun. He lightened the mood so even if you were stressed (as most Brides are), you felt at ease. He is just very good at this type of work. I highly recommend 5star for value, professionalism and quality. Jim and Steve came to film our ceremony and wedding...we LOVED them! From the minute Steve called, happy and excited, to confirm everything the week of the wedding, to the very last song and dance, they were amazing! My sister used 5iveStar Media for her wedding two years ago and had Jim film her wedding- so, we were a return customer! 5ive star did an amazing job at our wedding. One of the most friendly staff too Steve and Alex were able to capture every special moment and we had a few requests one was to play a montage at the wedding with pictures of us growing up and then dating they were able to put together an awesome montage that everyone in the wedding really got to enjoy. The other request was to interview some of our friends and family members and I heard from them they really enjoyed it and that Steve and Alex did an amazing job setting that up. Jim has also been a pleasure working with and was able to work with us on these request. Thank you so much!! We appreciate all the camera views Steve Young captured the big picture down to beautiful close-ups of the bride and groom, wedding party, family, and guests. After receiving and viewing the final product, it was truly like reliving that special day all over again. Sooo many moments we would have otherwise missed were captured beautifully for us. We received our DVDs quickly and immediately watched and relived the day! It's unbelievable the amount of footage Steve Young got when you barely notice they're recording! Throughout our wedding planning process we were contacted via email and telephone regarding our vision for our event and was even provided with the personal cell phone number of our videographer. Information was disseminated clearly and in a timely manner as well. During our wedding they arrived ahead of time and appropriately dressed. Steve Young was absolutely awesome. The consultation was fun and he was honest in his recommendations. He
interacted with the Wedding party in a professional manner and captured all the great moments. He arrived early to get some cool ambiance shots as well. A true professional.

My husband and I were lucky enough to have both Jim and Steve as our videographers. They were both on time, professional, and very experienced at their job. There were a few mishaps throughout the night, not due to their company, but other issues and Jim and Steve worked with us and ensured us that they would be able to cut whatever we didn't want out of our video. They were there at ALL of the special moments and interacted with my guests. I highly recommended using 5iveStar Media Productions. Thank you Jim and Steve!

5ive Star Media Productions was without a doubt outstanding in every way ! We used them for our wedding videography and memories from this special day could not be better captured by our videographer Alex . He used three cameras and was able to film our ceremony from different angles in the church which allowed us and our friends and family to experience our wedding ceremony in the Church with our faces showing vs just our back sides as is typical the way we stand on the altar and were able to view on actual wedding day . Our photographers were not evenable to capture these views since they were not allowed on the altar, so the video was truly special indeed ! Each key part of the church service was included .

The video of the reception was excellent as well. Again, everything that I can think of that I would want as a memory forever was included in the videographer. Transitions between varioud parts was seamless and very smooth. The higllight section was a lot of fun, incorporating our music selections very nicely adn again not missing the top moments of the night in just a few minutes. Jim was wonderful as well from the beginning in helping us make arrangements and getting our video back to us in timely manner - very professional and pleasant.
Thanks to 5ive Star Media Productions, we can forever relive our special day with true enjoyment and happiness !

I cannot recommend 5ive Star Media Productions enough! I worked with Jim and he was absolutely AMAZING - so kind, professional, responsive, and helpful. He made the entire process so easy and left me with nothing to worry about on our big day. He also completed the editing in record time, which was a wonderful surprise! The quality of the video itself is excellent, and I am beyond ecstatic to have such a fantastic video to watch for years to come. If you are debating whether or not to hire a videographer, DO IT! You will certainly not regret it, and with 5ive Star it won't put a huge dent in your wedding budget. We hired 5ive Star Media Productions to record our baby girl’s wedding on June 28, 2014. Steve and Ed were our videographers for the day. I can't speak highly enough of Steve and Ed; they were amazing to work with. They captured every special memory I ever wanted from my baby girl’s special day. They were timely, they had 3-5 camera's going at all times and captured every possible angle. They even captured some photographs that the photographer didn't capture. We have footage of the bride arriving at the church, of course inside the church, receiving line, outside the church, video of special pictures the bride wanted between the church and reception hall, all the way down to the very last minute of Melissa and Dean's reception. I wish I could give 10 stars because that is what this company deserves! From the first time contacting them they have been helpful, pleasant, and efficient. Getting married is stressful and I waited to book a videographer however you would have never known that from the service I received. I am so happy that I decided to have a videographer because I know they got alot of the events my photographer missed. They even arrived early and stayed until the last song of my wedding (at no extra cost). They were the first vendor to follow up with me after my wedding too and I think that says a lot. Not only do they seem to really enjoy doing what they do but they really care about their customers. They were awesome and you won't be upset if you use them!

Using 5iveStar Media Productions is one of the best decision I made for my wedding and I highly recommend it to anyone who are looking for a professional and reliable videography service for their wedding day!

Originally I didn't think videography is an important part in a wedding and was considering using another videography service with much cheaper price. However, when I contacted Jim, he carefully and professionally explained the different services they have, and let me know who will be our videographers on our wedding day. He even sent me a wedding DVD they shot at my wedding venue before! After understanding the huge quality difference and how professional 5iveStar is, I decided to go with 5iveStar and I am really glad I did. I realized that time truly flied on my wedding day and I didn't have time to see everything I wanted to see in my wedding. The only way to see everything happened on your wedding is through your wedding videographers' camera, so a good videography service is way more important than I originally thought.

Jim and Steve are both very professional, they arrived at our wedding venue very early on our wedding day to get everything ready so they even captured the moment when I arrived at the church in a fancy Rolls-Royce. They are kind and they know how to capture the best scenes without interrupting the wedding and the guests so I felt very comfortable and knew they were doing there job well during the wedding. They are also very efficient- I provided my music selection on August 4th, and I already received my video highlight today and the complete DVD should arrive this week as well. Although they told me it would sometimes take up to 2-3 months to receive my DVD, I think they will try their best if they can complete the editing sooner. Although I haven't seen the complete video, I know it will be great based on the highlight. Can't wait to watch it with my husband to recapture our big day!

Because our wedding mass was at night inside of a older church by candle light, we were concerned that the quality of the final film might be lacking. Jim with 5iveStar added a second videographer and camera (at no extra cost to us) just to make sure that our final product was everything we were hoping for. Can't say enough about the professionalism of both Jim and Steve at the wedding. The end mix of our DVD was just wonderful and of superior quality. Wow! Thank you 5iveStar Media Productions for a most wonderful memory of our special day!!

Our wedding video turned out amazing! I would say this service is a MUST for all couples getting married and you will not regret. We had Steve as our videographer and he was very professional but also personable! He captured EVERYTHING from the ceremony to reception, our vows, first dance, guests dancing, etc. Editing was very well done, with different chapters for us to see and the video was great quality, the sound was very crisp and we could really reminisce about our wedding day while watching the video. Thank you so much Steve for all your hard work on our wedding day, we love the video so much!!!

My daughter's wedding was held at the Gaylord Hotel in National Harbor. We wanted high-quality vendors in keeping with the quality of the venue. An important vendors, to us, was the videographer. The video, if done well, will be the most important remembrances. I learned of 5ive Star Media from a relative who used them and was very pleased.

I contacted Jim Ratliff, President of 5ive Star and discussed their services. One of their videographers joined us at the Gaylord to walk-thru the plan for the wedding and the ceremony. We discussed what we wanted and he suggested some ideas we hadn't thought of. I could tell they knew their business. I felt confident they would provide exactly what we wanted.

Prior to the wedding day, I provided Jim with a schedule of the ceremony and reception and we reviewed all the details and various parts of the evening. Jim wanted to make sure that his team covered everything that was important to us.

We selected the Prestige Package and are extremely pleased with the results. The combination of the two fixed cameras and the two hand-held cameras provided exactly the coverage we wanted for the ceremony. Because the groom is active duty military, the ceremony had some special touches that 5ive Star captured perfectly. There were moments during the ceremony that I, father-of-the-bride, missed and but was able to see and experience in the video.

After the solemness of the ceremony, 5ive Star captured all the fun and excitement of the reception. They included scenes of the reception venue before all our guests enter so we are able to remember the beautiful decorations. The speeches and dances were recorded perfectly. We had special video presentations at the reception that 5ive Star edited seamlessly into their video.

i purchased the raw video on a hard drive. I recommend it because there is only so much they can fit on the DVD.

We are extremely pleased with results and highly recommend them.

5ivestar Media was one of the best decisions we made. Jim was always quick to respond to emails and phone calls before the wedding. Email was the best form of communication for me and I received email confirmations after they received the signed contract, deposit, balance, music selections, etc. Our Wedding Day was busy, long and exhausting, but we never felt like our videographers were "in the way" or "everywhere we were." The editing process was so much faster than expected. We received our DVDs quickly and immediately watched and relived the day! It's unbelievable the amount of footage they got when you barely notice they're recording! My husband and I were extremely pleased with their customer service, the quality of our video and definitely felt it was worth the price!

5iveStar did a wonderful job with our wedding. Steve and Jim were both very responsive. Steve spoke to me several times before the wedding to go over details and to make sure everything was in place and ready. The final product is really lovely and the video was ready much faster than expected. They incorporated music that we sent to them, which was also a nice touch. They are more affordable than some of the other videographers that we looked at, and they have various packages to stay within your budget. I don't feel like I sacrificed quality for value at all. Overall, a really great job! I'd recommend without hesitation.

The videos of our daughter's wedding are great! We appreciate all the camera views Steve incorporated which captured the big picture down to beautiful close-ups of the bride and groom, wedding party, family, and guests. Waiting this long to watch our wedding video was a huge mistake. We were going to watch it with our parents but before we knew it, months had passed and we still hadn't watched it. Last night we weren't really in the mood to watch the video, but it occurred to us that we should, at the very least, make sure the DVDs worked and we were going to do just that - verify the DVDs worked. Of course, the DVDs did work and the footage was so good, we watched both DVDs in their entirety.

We are so happy we chose 5iveStar. Not only was the staff incredibly kind and exceedingly professional, it's also very clear they know exactly what they are doing. The staff arrived several hours early to film some of the pre-ceremony essentials like: details of the venue, the decorations you will spend hours working on and not notice during the big day, getting ready, photo sessions, and guests arriving. It may sound a little boring, but the choice of footage included in the DVD was perfect and it was edited in a way to keep the pace moving right along.

The ceremony was shot in its entirety from a variety of angles in gorgeous HD. It's a treat to see the faces in the background smiling, crying, and laughing in detail. Also included in the ceremony DVD were highlights of the wedding party posing for formal photos, something I didn't realize I'd appreciate until watching. And like the pre-ceremony footage, it's edited to keep the video moving along.

The reception footage is featured on a separate DVD and includes all of what you'd expect: wedding party entrances, important dances, speeches, cake cutting, and flower and garter tossing, all of which are in their entirety. Filling the gaps between all of those "important" parts of the reception are highlights of all the action taking place, most of which we never saw until watching the video. Also included was an incredible highlight reel of the entire day. We are so pleased with the quality of work and staff. Just wonderful

I don't even know where to start. This company is nothing short of phenomenal. The customer service is impeccable. Our videographer (Steve) was ultra personable yet professional. He fit in like one of our family members to the point that we almost forgot he was recording. He kept us laughing and relaxed but always focused foremost on his job. After receiving and viewing the final product, it was truly like reliving that special day all over again. Sooo many moments we would have otherwise missed were captured beautifully for us. Watching our wedding video, we laughed, we cried - it was awesome.

For the very reasonable rates they charge, this company goes above and beyond to produce a video, and memories, that you will cherish forever - and I can attest to that personally.

We have nothing but wonderful things to say about this company. From first contact with them until post-wedding contact, 5ive Star Media was timely, flexible, and professional. Regardless of the fact that we are not originally from the Annapolis area, and our wedding was considered out of town, they worked around our schedule and requests in order to accommodate our every wish. They made contact pre-wedding on multiple occasions in order to make sure that my itinerary matched up with theirs, and I even had some last-minute changes which they fulfilled without question. They showed up promptly to our wedding ceremony and carried out everything they said they would in our contract. As for the quality of our video- we were amazed at how much footage they were able to capture without us even knowing! They were very non-invasive with both ourselves and our guests. Having our wedding at the Naval Academy- it was very important to us that footage was captured of the beautiful venue, and they certainly provided us with that. My favorite part of the video was watching the groom's face when I walked down the aisle! Every important part of our special day was captured, and more and we received our video within just a few short weeks after the wedding. Post-wedding, I said I wished I was able to go back and be a guest at the wedding to relive it, and after watching the video I feel like I am able to watch our special day as if I were really there again. Since we have had the video I have watched it on multiple occasions and it brings us so much joy, and I can honestly say that this video was the best wedding gift anyone could have given us. I would strongly suggest 5ive Star Media for videography service.

My wife and I didn't think that we had the budget for a wedding video. Thankfully, a couple of weeks before the wedding, we were able to scrape together the funds. We spoke to 5ive Star in hopes that they would be available and they basically bent over backwards to accommodate us. They videographers they sent were amazing! They were friendly and respectful. Then after our wedding, we took a REALLY long time getting them our photos and music for our video. Then we got the video and we couldn't be happier. They did a wonderful job. They captured so many fun moments that I don't see how they were able to get them.

Throughout the whole process they were great! They were friendly and helpful. I would recommend them to friends and family alike without hesitation!

To say we are happy with 5iveStar, is a complete understatement! Steve Young was our videographer for the big day and I have to tell you, this guy is absolutely amazing! He worked seamlessly with our photographer throughout the entire event and was so helpful with the poses for even our formal pictures! Steve made sure our special moments were captured perfectly and made even my husband (who would rather sell his soul than have his picture taken) smile and laugh all day! Everyone was comfortable, had a blast and I am so thankful to have all those smiles and memories recorded to look back on.

Furthermore, I cannot thank 5iveStar enough for their top notch professionalism and customer service. My husband's grandfather was readmitted to the hospital three days before our wedding and was unable to attend. When I spoke to Steve a couple weeks ago, I told him that we were going to make a special trip to see Grandad (for quite possibly the last time) and that I would love for him to at least see the raw footage of our ceremony before he leaves us, Steve and Ed did one better. Not only did they get our raw footage out to us immediately, but they also put a rush on our editing and actually got our finished DVDs to us the day before our visit!!! I am completely blown away with the quality of the movie. Watching the DVD for the first time was not only a wonderful experience for us to hear all those warm well wishes and reliving the best day of our lives, but seeing first had, the ear to ear smiles on the faces who were once so disappointed because they couldn't make it to our wedding day, was the greatest feeling in the world. I met with a number of videographers and I was struggling with the idea of paying thousands of dollars on a videographer who was only going to provide me with a five minute (at the most!) video of my wedding that i'd spent almost a year planning. Then I found 5iveStar Media, they are reasonably priced and I got a 2 hour DVD when all was said and done. They were incredibly professional and very communicative with me throughout the process. They were not in the way during the ceremony or reception (sometimes i'd forget they were even there!) and this was exactly what I wanted. They got beautiful footage and my husband and I absolutely adore our video! These guys are the best bang for your buck that you will find in the DC/MD/VA area! I can not say enough wonderful things about them. If you are still on the fence about having a videographer, DONT BE! these guys are amazing and 110% worth it! Special thanks to Jim for being so great through the entire process!

We could not have been happier with the job 5star did. They caught all of the greatest moments of the day, and throughout the planning they were available and so courteous and gave us some great scene ideas. ( ie a shot of my husband and me standing next to my parents' empty chairs- they are deceased and it was a nice way to honor them). They did a BEAUTIFUL job with the video, the editing, catching all the readings, speeches, mingling and dancing. We couldn't be happier!!
