We got married in early March of 2024 at 501 Union. The space is a total show-stopper and several of our guests raved about the space throughout our wedding. We love the whole space, but if we had to shout out a few of our favorite things they would be the farm tables, the disco ball, their two bars, and the light fixtures!
Now I want to shout out their staff - seriously everyone who worked at our wedding from 501 were so sweet. Also, we chose vendors recommended by or who partner with 501 and we loved every single one of them.

We got married on 1/27/24 and the team at 501 has been amazing since day 1! They are extreme professionals and made the process easy and helped make our day absolutely perfect!

We had our December wedding at 501 Union and it couldn’t have been more beautiful. It was romantic and homey feeling and with flowers it really came alive! Andrea is above and beyond responsive, helpful and reasonable. She was a huge part of the success of our event. The staff was lovely and we couldn’t have had a better experience! Highly recommend if having ~90-115 people (we had 108). Felt like a great size space for that size party. I think they can fit more but with dance floor our size party was perfect.

501 Union is the picture perfect wedding venue. We decided on minimal flowers and additional decor because of how beautiful the venue is on its own. The team was accommodating and helpful throughout the entire process. We found some of our favorite vendors through their recommendations. Highly recommend 501 Union!

We can't imagine getting married anywhere else. The venue is so Brooklyn chic and much different than your cookie cutter ballroom wedding (which is exactly what we wanted). The three different rooms (atrium, bar and reception) was the perfect layout for having one big party with a space for ceremony, cocktail and dinner and dancing. Andrea was great to work with over the last year and a half and the 501 Union staff is truly top notch. Best weekend of our lives!

After initially booking with the Green Building across the street, and the unfortunate circumstance of it closing down, we explored other options in Brooklyn before quickly realizing there was no better deal than 501! We (and our guests) loved the cool Brooklyn vibe of the place, and despite all the current construction in the area (we didn't even bat an eye at it on our wedding day!), had the best day ever. Abby, Alexandra and the team accommodated several site visits, when we were first trasferring our contract and when our parents came to town and wanted to see the place. They also scheduled a bar tasting for us so we could sample the wines and cocktails before settling on our bar package! The day of ran so smoothly and the entire staff was so nice and accommodating, we just felt so supported and at ease. All of their recommendations for vendors were on point, and we got to keep our ice cream truck for dessert! Overall, great team, great experience, great value for Brooklyn!

We were originally going to get married at The Green Building, but when that closed down they moved us to their sister venue 501 union. What at first felt like a “backup” immediately became a beloved venue. Abby and the team were wonderful, communicative, and accommodating. The space itself is stunning, and was truly perfect for our wedding. Cannot recommend more highly!

We booked our July 2023 wedding here at 501 union and can whole heartedly say we would recommend the space to anyone looking for a beautiful space to make their own. We planned our wedding from out of state, and this proved to be be a non issue for the staff as they easily set up phone call and zoom sessions with us and our coordinator. We felt the pricing and expectations for what was available and offered to us clear and well explained. This is an amazing space that is essentially a beautiful blank canvas, meaning you can do as much or as little as you wish here. Our day of coordinator helped us secure many vendors to fulfill all the duties of the space, almost all who had worked events here before and had nothing but good things to say.

When the day of arrived, we were given free reign of the space and politely checked in with every few hours to see if we needed anything on their end. When the wedding kicked into full gear we had a small unexpected hiccup (outside their control), which they promptly worked to fix and followed up with us after the wedding. I really felt they did an amazing job with customer service and providing a clean, open space to make our dreams a reality.

We brought in two food trucks, and two drop off catering to which the space lended well. The house bar staff was great and the whole day truly was a dream.

TLDR; This is an amazing space, that really lets you fulfill all of your DIY dreams. It's beautiful enough on its own, but lends well to any additions you want to bring in. The house staff was great and we would definitely recommend to friends and family!

501 Union was a wonderful venue that worked so well with us! After a very unlikely circumstance knocked our first venue out of contention, 501 Union was very quick to work with us and make sure the ball was rolling for our big day. Special shout out to Abby who was such a pleasure to work with, always responded quickly and made everything easier for us. The staff on the big day were also so helpful, so responsive, and contributed to the fun vibe of the day. Their referrals to were top notch - their preferred vendor for staffing, Parties N All, were awesome on the day of. Overall, it was a great experience made smooth by 501 Union and I would definitely recommend it to others.

I thoroughly enjoyed having my wedding at 501 Union! Not only is it a beautiful contemporary space but the staff was wonderful to work with. They were very responsive, detailed, and accommodating. On the day of my wedding, we got to the venue early to take a few couples portraits and they had a fun playlist going, offered us glasses of champagne, and created a stress-free atmosphere. It was perfect from start to finish. HIGH RECOMMEND!

We just had our wedding here and I could not be happier with the exceptional service and professionalism of 501. Extremely professional, excellent communication, and insane service. If you're waffling on whether or not to go with 501 -- let me help you make up your mind. Do it. It's a beautiful space made even better by the people behind it all. Five million stars!

We held our wedding at 501 Union and couldn't be happier. What a gorgeous space and an incredible team. We had a food truck wedding and the space was perfect for bringing our vendors in. We love that there are distinct areas to the venue with their own unique feeling -- it helped create a great flow to the evening and gave our guests different areas to explore or to find a quiet space as they needed. We worked with Abby throughout our process and she and the entire 501 Union team were so helpful and made for an easy experience and a fantastic wedding. The venue is so classy and we and our guests absolutely loved it. We can't say enough good things about 501 Union or our experience.

We visited 501 Union and loved it. We wanted to be sure before we booked it so we quickly did visits with a few other venues and we're thrilled when we realized that we were right- 501 Union was far beyond what any other space offered. The staff was fabulous (Abby in particular!) and they made our day perfect down to the tiniest detail. We couldn't imagine our day being anywhere else.

We had such a great wedding here. The size of the venue was large enough for everyone, and comfortable while still feeling intimate. We didn't need to do much to decorate the space ourselves. The staff were wonderful.

My now-wife and I looked around at many different venues, before choosing 501 Union for our wedding on September 12th. We loved everything about the venue, from the ambiance, the chic styling and design, to the staff that really helped make our wedding happen, but most of all, Andrea, who really went truly above and beyond to make our wedding day picture perfect! I truly can't say enough good things about Andrea. We couldn't have asked for a better venue manager and we're forever grateful to her for making our wedding even better than we hoped!

I had my dream wedding February 2022 at 501 Union. First of all the venue is not only beautiful, but it is so spacious and you can decorate and design the spaces as you please. You can bring in many of your own vendors too. On top of that, my point of contact and the entire staff were so accommodating and my wedding day went smoothly. If you are looking to book this venue, do it now! This place is the best. I 1000% recommend 501 union for your wedding.

I'm writing this from the perspective of a vendor who worked with 501 Union for our client's wedding. The staff are communicative and professional and the space is absolutely gorgeous!

My wedding at 501 Union was amazing. My husband and I knew from the first time we viewed the space that it was the perfect place for our wedding. It perfectly fit our wedding vibe. Andrea took over as our wedding manager close to our wedding and she was amazing. Andrea was always helpful, friendly and a complete pleasure to work with. The team that was there on the day of our wedding was amazing, we had so much fun partying with them. Everyone made sure we had a great and beautiful day.

We got married in December 2021 at 501 Union and absolutely loved this venue. It is so beautiful, while also being industrial and having a nice edge to it. The atrium was a really magical place to have the ceremony - the vines, skylights and lights on the vines at night really helped set an intimate tone. We upgraded to the farm tables and black padded chairs for the reception which created a laid back but chic vibe. We were initially worried to only have 2 bartenders for our 100 guest wedding - especially given all the specialty cocktails on the menu, but we got so many compliments from our guests afterwards on their speed and efficiency which was really nice to hear since bar packages can be costly.

The experience leading up to the wedding was very good as well - we worked with Andrea up until the big day and she was extremely quick to respond to any questions while also being patient (and trust me, there were many questions). I also loved that we were able to keep things at the venue for the night after the wedding to be picked up the next morning, it was one less thing to worry about the night of the wedding when there were so many moving parts. I really enjoyed the bridal suite generally (where we left the majority of our items). It had a ton of storage, was perfectly located, and also is very aesthetically pleasing for impromptu candid shots.

The only advice I would give anyone having a wedding here is to perhaps consider how you want the main area lit for the reception. In retrospect, we think we might have had the lights over the dance floor turned up a bit too brightly. However, when you are in the moment at your wedding this isn't something you can really do anything about/process. Therefore, I would advise couples to think carefully about the lighting during the walkthrough and make sure your day of coordinator or planner is aware of the amount of light you want so that they can be your eyes/ears the day of. Otherwise, having our wedding here was a flawless experience - I wish we could do it all over again! :-)

It was love at first sight. As soon as I walked into 501 Union - after running around brooklyn and long island city in search of the perfect venue - I fell in love. I knew we had to get married here. It truly was a dream wedding for us, and we have to thank the 501 Union team who helped us achieve our vision. What was important for us when it came to our venue: 1) Overall vibe of the place. We were looking for "romantic," "moody," "chic," vibe - and this place was it! Especially because our wedding was in December, the venue helped turn our wedding into an intimate, cozy, romantic, beautiful ceremony. We decorated with flowers and many candles. The space was convenient for our guests, because the cocktail hour, the ceremony, and the main dining area were all in one place. Our guests commented how easy it was for them to move around the space throughout the night. 2) The flexibility to really design and play around the space to our liking. So I guess this really depends on what kind of a bride you are - but I didn't want everything to be "set up" for me. I wanted to be able work with the space to create the vibe/mood that I envisioned. 501 Union is so versatile. You can leave the door to the atrium open during the warmer season, bring in food trucks, have the ceremony in the main room, the atrium, play around with different types of decorations to really change the feel of the space, and we loved that (although it was.. a lotttt of work - but I'm a bit neurotic like that) - we could truly turn this place into a wedding venue that reflected who we were as a couple. 3) The People we'd be working with. We worked with Angelica (the venue manager) throughout our planning process, and she was absolutely wonderful. She was punctual, organized, kind, professional, and understanding. When I was interviewing vendors, one of the questions I'd ask each one of them was "We are considering 501 Union as our venue - have you worked at that venue, are you familiar?" and every single vendor I had spoken with would say that the 501 union team is the best - and that they truly love working with them. Trust me, the PEOPLE you'll be working with during this process will make EVERY difference. From first meeting, to the final walk through, from the set up in the morning, to the clean up in the evening - absolutely incredible experience with them. Ohhh my husband and I truly miss our day. This place will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

501 Union is considered on of the best venues in Brooklyn for a reason. Our experience working with them was clear, professional, and low-stress from start to finish. Their beautiful space easily accommodated our 127 guests, and we barely had to do anything in terms of décor because of how effortlessly cool the venue is. Every staff member we worked with, from Celina our wedding coordinator to the bar staff (shout out Audrey) were incredible and we genuinely enjoyed having them with us on our day.

If you want your event to run like a well-oiled machine, go with 501 Union. You won't be disappointed.

The 501 Union Staff was so understanding, gracious, and transparent throughout the entire process of rescheduling our wedding from July 2020 to May 2021. The venue itself is gorgeous and is 1 of the main reasons we chose this space. We loved the flow of the spaces, as it worked well with our vision for our wedding day. The staff provides enough support so you can enjoy your wedding day like you are supposed to.

I was there for a wedding in the Summer of 2017 and I want to say that I felt in love with the place so much that my wife and I decided to book it for our 10 year anniversary celebration in 2020. The place is lovely, plenty of space, great location, great service and love that you have the place all to yourself (don't have to share it with another party). Just keep in mind that you are renting the place alone. Decoration, food service etc you either get it thru them or you can get your own. With a great imagination you can decorate this place however you want. IMO since the place is a little dark with some candles and not too much light décor, flowers etc. the place is can be turned into a beautiful modern romantic celebration.

I loved 501 Union from the minute I walked into it. It was exactly what I was looking for - I hate those awful wedding halls with uplighting where everything looks like you're in a castle but it isn't a castle? ANYWAY, 501 is the opposite of that. I was so happy the staff was also very cool and easy to work with - answering our questions quickly, providing some solutions to a few problems we ran into, and just being really fantastic the day of our wedding. Everything happened how it was supposed to, and everyone was so nice. My only hang-up was that we had to contract the bar through them which was pretty expensive. BUT, the cocktails were amazing, the bartenders were fantastic and very fast, and all of our guests were drunk by the end of the evening - just what we wanted. If you are looking for a cool venue that is unique, I highly recommend checking out 501!
