45 Riots was, without question, one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From several planning calls leading up to the big day, they were thoughtful, collaborative, and genuinely invested in helping us curate the perfect evening. Every detail felt intentional and tailored to us. The ceremony and cocktail hour music were beautiful, and then the reception absolutely blew us away. They made our first dance incredibly special and somehow managed to keep the energy high and the dance floor packed all night long. We found ourselves stopping mid-dance just to appreciate how unbelievably talented they were. Their interaction with our guests, willingness to have us on stage, and ability to create such an electric atmosphere made the night unforgettable. We have received countless compliments about the band, and we even had friends asking for their information during the wedding for their own weddings and events. Genuinely—and I don't think this is just wedding-day bias—I can confidently say they are the best wedding band we've ever seen. If you want a packed dance floor and an unforgettable party, book 45 Riots. -

Prep Process: We loved working with Manny and Angelica throughout our preparation process – they completely heard us in our likes, dislikes, desires, vibes, must-plays. We needed a band that would play music that spoke to both of our families’ tastes, sensibilities, and cultural reference points, and they more than delivered. They selected the perfect musicians and vocalists to thread the needle on Motown, classic rock, R&B, soul, funk, and “Songbird” to boot. Christine McVie’s spirit was conjured in that ballroom.
Investment & Value: “Whatever you’re paying this band, it’s not enough,” my uncle said at our wedding. Every person – Every! Single! Person! – came up to us and gushed about how simply unmatched 45 Riots is. You want a song? Any song? They can do that song. They can do that song better than the original. One of my best friends works in the wedding industry – he did 28 weddings in the 2025 season – and he said 45 Riots is the best band, hands down, he’s ever heard. Friends asked if 45 Riots gave concerts, because we would all go. We would’ve danced for four more hours if they let us.
Creative & Execution: You’ve never seen a band song list so long. We could’ve had five wedding receptions with the number of songs we wanted to hear. Tell them what you want, sure, but seriously, trust the professionals! Whatever they come up with will be better than anything you could’ve dreamed of. Our 11-piece band played nonstop, flowing from one song right into the next, running mash-ups that got the crowd going crazy. Have you ever done a Soul Train into a Hora into Boots on the Ground? Well, 45 Riots has, and it ruled. They completely fed off of our crowd – they built synergy with us that ratcheted up throughout the night. Our only regret is that it had to end! -

You cannot go wrong with 45 Riots as your choice of band. They were the stars of our wedding reception. They brought such incredible energy to the event that our dance floor literally did not stop for 3 and a half hours (aside for a few breaks for food and speeches).
Our vocalists were Inaya, Freedom, and JayRo and their unique blend of voices made all of our song choices feel like studio renditions. The musicians and the production team also deserve a strong shout out for how much they stood out – so many of our guests had glowing words!
Finally, we’d just like to highlight how easy they were to work with. From their flexibility in meeting times, to their administrative team, to their communication around logistics and snags, they were prompt and professional with the whole process. -

45 Riots... ahhh where to begin! Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better band for our wedding- and so glad we were able to add them to our vendor list! They didn’t just play music—they turned the night into, what felt like, a mini concert- they are THAT good... seriously beyond incredible.
The energy they brought was absolutely electric, and more often than not, a guest would come up and rave about how incredible they were. Their talent is off the charts, and they knew exactly how to keep the party going. I didn't get off the dance floor almost the entire night!
From the first dance to the last song, they made every moment unforgettable. They helped make the entrance to the ceremony really special and just knew the vibe and went with it - they had and have our full trust! We would hire them again in a heartbeat. I work in television and my background is in music performance and music business. 60% of the guests were professional musicians or worked in the industry. Needless to say, the band was THE most important factor to me when planning our wedding reception.
45 Riots is not an ordinary wedding band - these are inherently talented performers with incredible musicianship, most of whom are well known in the industry. My guests left raving about the band, asking for their contact information, and saying it was they brought the best energy out of any wedding they’ve been to. They were a HUGE hit.
I cannot recommend them enough. They were pleasant to work with, incredibly organized, professional and helpful. You will not go wrong booking them for your event! Thanks for everything, 45 Riots!! -

We worked with 45 Riots for our wedding at Bourne Mansion, and they provided our reception band, cocktail musicians, and after-party DJ, and each was amazing. I cannot recommend them enough!
They truly made our wedding, and we're still getting rave reviews from guests. The whole process with the 45 Riots team was seamless from start to finish.
The cocktail musicians (both indoors and outdoors) were perfect to allow for mingling, etc. and the reception band and after-party DJ had unmatched energy. Our guests didn't leave the dance floor all night!
The musicians themselves had incredible attention to detail. All of our must plays were performed and our do not play songs left out. My father was extremely thankful and impressed that one of the female vocalists were able to make a quick lyric change for our father bride dance song.
I only hope I can go to another wedding or event that uses 45 Riots so I can experience them again! -

45 Riots was absolutely amazing!!! All of the band members were great, but I want to specifically highlight each of the singers we had (Jake, DR, and Inaya). They were truly amazing and it was as if the songs were being played off of the tracks instead of being performed live! I would definitely recommend them to anyone and I wish I had another event upcoming to rebook them!

This band is absolutely phenomenal. If you’re looking for a band that keeps the dancefloor full all night it’s 45 Riots. They’re not a wedding band, they’re a full on musical powerhouse playing music from across genres and eras. They even mixed our first dance song to play live rather than a recording even though the song wasn’t in their catalogue. They can do it all. The team there is super detail-oriented and kept us informed of any changes and helped us to come up with the perfect combination of musicians for the day. They were a joy to work with.

We got married three weeks ago and our guests are still raving about how we had the best wedding band and most fun dance floor they’d ever seen at a wedding. 45riots was incredible — so impressively talented, accommodating to our requests, and an absolute infusion of energy and fun into the night. The dance floor was packed and everyone was going on and on about the band all night. We can’t say enough good things about them! It was great being able to meet with them beforehand to tell them about our vision for the night, what kind of music we were hoping for, etc. – they assembled the perfect ensemble who read our crowd perfectly and knocked it out of the park. Just stop. Take a breath. You've found your band. All the reviews are completely true. 45 Riots MADE OUR WEDDING. A live band was the #1 priority for my fiance and I. We were so nervous about finding just the right one, and with our big day behind us, I can confidently say we made the absolute best choice by a mile. Our guests could not stop asking us where we found this band. We are STILL getting compliments days later. Each vocalist and musician performed at the absolute highest level. Everyone is so insanely talented, and they are just brimming with charisma. It also doesn't hurt that they are GORGEOUS people, dressed to the 9's! Our guests never stopped dancing, which was exactly what our dream wedding looked like in our heads. 45 Riots made it a reality. They read the room perfectly and had a set list that pleased EVERYONE. Their expert transitions must also be mentioned: between every song was an amazing mashup that got everyone SO excited for what was coming next. The energy was unbeatable. I don't even have the words to describe how good this band is. Candidly, my family had unrealistic expectations, and they were absolutely FLOORED by the exceptional talent of JJ, Bobbi, Jermaine, and the band. At one point a guest confused Bobbi's voice for an actual Whitney Houston recording. They brought the house down and I only wish we could have spent many more hours dancing with them. Plus the producers that you work with during the planning process are SO nice, attentive, and helpful. 45 Riots made our wedding the best night of my life. BOOK THEM! -

They were very responsive to our questions and accommodating throughout the planning process, and they made us feel confident in their ability to deliver a great performance.
On the wedding day itself, 45 Riots truly brought the party to life! They had everyone on the dance floor all night long and played a great mix of songs that appealed to guests of all ages. We were blown away by the high energy level and the fantastic performance that they put on. The band members are incredibly talented (we had several professional musicians at our wedding and even they were blown away), and they know how to get a crowd going.

The best thing about hiring 45 Riots was looking around when the dance floor was open on our wedding night and seeing literally everyone on the dance floor. Nobody sitting at the tables, nobody hanging by the bar, every single person in the room on the dance floor enjoying the band. 45 Riots is on a different level than most wedding bands; they put on a show that stands on its own. We had an 8-piece band which was perfect for our reception of 150 people; 45 Riots also provided a guitarist for our ceremony and pianist for cocktail hour. Every single performer was incredible and we are so so glad we hired them for our wedding. They know how to get a crowd going and they’ll make your event truly something to remember! -

Hiring 45 Riots was one of the best and (to this day) still talked about decisions we made. They came recommended to us by our trusted vendors, so we knew they’d be great, but experiencing them live at our wedding took it to a whole other level. Each and every individual is a talented musician. At times we weren’t sure if we were at a concert or a wedding - trust all the other reviews that say the dance floor will be packed all night. From a planning perspective, the team is a pleasure to work with. Signing the contract, song selection, timeline finalizing - all super seamless.
Another thing I’ll note - I’ve been to a number of weddings where couples opt for a band yet use a prerecorded song for their first dance and parent dances. Maybe the original version is sentimental, maybe you practiced dancing to the original. We fully trusted 45 Riots to cover our dances and OF COURSE they absolutely crushed it. We were so happy we decided against the original recordings (even though we love them!!). -

We had high standards when booking a wedding band and 45 Riots exceeded them.
Throughout the planning stages, they were very responsive, offering flexibility and recommendations.
They listened to all of our suggestions and requests, tailoring the wedding set list to our preferences. Beyond the very long list of songs in their repertoire, they layered in some recent releases and learned several songs on our wish list (Carly Rae Jepsen deep cuts anyone?).
JJ and the band were excited to play and were clearly having a good time throughout the event. Throughout the night, guests came over to us to comment on how top-notch the band was - sounding closer to the record than to a wedding band.

We were so lucky to have 45 Riots as our wedding band. Multiple guests told us it was the best live band they'd ever heard! We added the brass section which sounded amazing. Everyone was up and dancing through every dance session. They made it an absolutely memorable wedding for us and all our guests. I have never heard Hot in Here sound so classy!
We had a choreographed dance to a lesser played song and the band did an excellent job of learning it and performing it at the right pace. Additionally my dad wrote an original song to play for our father daughter dance which the band learned and performed for us. The bustle of my dress came unhooked right as we were about to head out for the dance and the band did an excellent job of looping the intro bars of the song until we were able to get it fixed.
The MC did a great job switching between music and speeches and the audio was perfect for all the speeches.
We looked at a TON of bands and strongly believe they are the best band, especially at this price point, in the tristate area. -

Hiring 45 Riots for our wedding was such a great decision, they absolutely killed it! This group of artists really knows how to read a crowd, and had our entire party dancing the entire night long. The dance floor even broke out before dinner was served because no one could resist! We got TONS of compliments from guests after about the band, and how this was the best wedding dance floor they have ever been a part of. They are skilled in a wide range of styles, and can easily cater their set to what you want. Beyond the actual music and dancing, 45 Riots truly went above and beyond in other ways as well. Ours was one of the many weddings rescheduled due to the pandemic (twice!), and this band was incredibly understanding, flexible, and accommodating in rescheduling. We were just so lucky they were available on our new date, since I don't think the party would have been the same without them. Thank you 45 Riots!! -

45 Riots BROUGHT THE HOUSE DOWN at my wedding on 10/16/21 at the Bordone LIC! I hired them as a surprise for my wife because I heard them play at my buddy's wedding and knew they were special.
Trusting them with the responsibility of handling the music, announcements, and sound was the best decision I could have made. We had a duo for the ceremony, trio for cocktail hour, and as a 10PC at the reception led by vocalists Bobbi, Greg, and Tyrik.
I am a value guy, and wedding planning brings out the ugly money saver side of me when it comes to hiring decisions. 45 riots were certainly not the “cheapest” way to get a band or music at a wedding. But, I would come to learn, that they would provide me with incredible value through their talent and performance. The fact that they covered music and sound for the entire event from the ceremony to the reception, made it all the more worthwhile. Each step of the planning process with Federica & Robin of 45 Riots was a delight.
During the wedding, and days later as I write this review, I have been receiving constant rave reviews from my guests that the band was INCREDIBLE. The average age of my wedding easily is north of 40. Almost everybody danced. My guests tell me they are all still recovering from the highs of the wedding, and the 45 riots helped me reach those heights.
The way I looked at it is this: I definitely thought during wedding that I was paying them to play for a few hours at my wedding. What I didn’t realize is that they are gave my wife and I tears of joys and memories that will last a lifetime when we look back. The 45 riots are professional, knowledgeable, experienced, and the best in the business. They should be trusted with taking your event to the next level.

We cannot say how thrilled, proud, and honored we were to have 45 Riots at our wedding. The band was our favorite part of many wonderful moments during our love party. We've had so many guests say how wonderful of a band they are, so you know they create a memorable experience. Every song was a top-notch performance that left us speechless.
Working with Federica and David (who also was our fantastic DJ) prior to the day was also a pleasure. Our prep call was nothing short of music lovers geeking out over the possibilities for the day. Alec and I have very eclectic tastes and the band knocked every song and request out of the park including “Dog Days”, “Mumford and Sons”, “Proud Mary”, “Love on Top”, etc. You name it and the genre was there. Our vocalists Greg, Bobbi, and DR made us feel like we were at our own private concert. They also helped us with hiring ceremony musicians who were awesome and rolled with our weird suggestions. I can safely say our expectations were truly surpassed. We could go on and on. If you have a chance, book them now. You will never regret booking 45 Riots.

Best wedding band EVER! We picked 45 Riots after going to see them live at Bitter End, and then we ended up having to move our wedding so we could barely remember seeing them. They were EVEN BETTER than we had remembered and expected. I can’t even count how many people have reached out to tell me how amazing the band was, and our guests were on the dance floor all night. They did a great job working with us to understand our music taste so that they could read the crowd but also play what we liked. They had a great combination of the classics for the older generations, new pop, and some songs from our childhood which got our friends excited. I got compliments on the band from all age groups and demographics. They did a great job with our first dance and parent songs, and were great emcees for the whole night. They also did a PHENOMENAL job with the ceremony and cocktail hour music and I got so many compliments on that as well. I could not have been happier, my only complaint was that it flew by and I wished we could’ve dance for many more hours. Definitely go with 45 riots – you won’t be disappointed! -

45 Riots are absolutely amazing and emulate true soul in their music. We are still getting compliments from our wedding. From the first email we sent to Frederica and team, communication was a breeze. Federica and team are so quick to respond and we felt at ease the entire planning process. 45 Riots are so professional and easy to work with, I only wish I could have another party just to have them perform. We loved every second of what the band brought to our wedding day. It was all so perfect, from the acoustic guitar at our ceremony, to happy hour jazz, to the end of the night hype. The band was so accommodating to songs that we loved. I would recommend 45 Riots to any couple who knows and loves music as much as we do. It is a week after our wedding and I'm still getting texts saying first and foremost that the band at our wedding was unbelievable. I couldn't agree more. I had very high hopes after reading the reviews and seeing a sample at the Bitter End. 45 Riots brings a creative flair that most other bands simply won't. My wife and I were hoping that our dance floor would be an energetic dance party, and 45 Riots delivered on every level. Even our wedding coordinator at the venue complimented how professional they were to work with and how great of a performance they put on. If there is any reason I don't want to write an amazing review, it is because I almost don't want the secret to get out! Thank you 45 Riots! -

All I have to say is WOW!!! Choosing the right band was incredibly important for us and, since our wedding, I have said on numerous occasions that hiring 45 Riots was one of the best things we did. This is not your typical wedding cover band -- they are each incredibly talented musicians (they even got standing ovations from our picky friends during some of the songs they played at dinner) who I would love to see in concert. Bobbi Storm, our lead female singer, is an INSANE TALENT. Truly breathtaking. We received SO MANY compliments on the band throughout the night (and our friends have been to a TON of weddings) and they are by far and away the best wedding band I have ever heard. If you want a fun party where everyone is dancing all night, with true talents leading the way, then stop and hire them NOW. Thank you 45 Riots for the dreamiest party!!! -

To put it simply, you have to hire 45 Riots. It is not an exaggeration to say that every person at my wedding came up to my parents, my husband or I to say this was the best wedding band they'd ever seen. I'm in the Broadway community, and my husband's father is a professional musician, so that's high praise coming from people who know music! From start to finish, they were great about communication and getting to know our tastes. At the wedding, every song was a hit and the dance floor was packed. They were great about reading the room and handling all our formalities, including ceremony music and cocktail hour. Additionally, they had no problem learning songs that we wanted that weren't on their Song List. My husband's father is in a well-known rock band and 45 Riots learned a 7-minute long hit song of theirs to play with my father-in-law & brother-in-law. To say that performance was epic is an understatement. They completely rose to the occasion and our guests were floored. I can't recommend 45 Riots enough! Thanks for everything, guys! -

45 riots was in one word amazing. I've never been to a wedding where almost everyone was dancing the whole time. From our first dance, the energy on the stage and from the crowd was palpable. It reminded me more of a concert with dedicated fans than a wedding. The bands energy, poise and harmony were incredible. In terms of raw talent, I was beyond impressed. I had at least 20 people tell me it was the best wedding band they've ever seen and the most fun wedding they've ever been to. Of course people are always nice, but not that nice. In short please tell everyone how thankful we are and how incredibly talented they are. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw 45 riots at a friends wedding in the future. -

45 Riots rocked our wedding! They were easy to work with, flexible, and tailor-made the playlist to fit our likes and dislikes. They were high energy and had the dance floor full the entire night. We can't recommend them highly enough!! -

Everything about working with the 45 Riots was great. They’re responsive, professional, and take their job seriously. It shows in the output. Everyone at our wedding said that the band was incredible. They were the highlight of the reception. I highly recommend anyone hire them, you will not be disappointed. -

45 Riots are awesome! The music for your wedding is a big and difficult decision but you will not regret it if you pick these guys. They are super talented, professional, and amazing artists. As most reviews here suggest, everyone loves this band, and we received multiple remarks at/after our wedding saying they were the best band they’ve experienced at a wedding. They play everything well from the classics to pop but always bringing their own style- they’re clearly also their own individual musicians that come together to put on events with a lot of fun energy. Everything about our event (June 21, 2019 at The Foundry) was seamless. We had Day, Bobbi, and Freedom as our vocalists as part of an 8-piece band and had Travis (trumpet) and keys for the ceremony. We were especially impressed by the ceremony and dinner reception music as we were not totally sure what to expect.
Robin and Federica were also on top of all the logistics and communications leading up to the event and overall 45 Riots were our easiest vendor to work with largely because of them- they responded super quickly to any email inquiry; they left you with total confidence everything about the big day would be smooth no matter what curve balls could arise. The musicians and sound crew were also able to easily adapt if last minute changes came up in the flow of the event. I could go on but I’m not sure there’s much more you really need to know other than you must trust me when I say you must get these guys. I’ll say that I was personally a bit nervous given the price going in to things (most of the other bands [and djs] we looked at were less expensive but they also clearly didn’t have the sound and character we were looking for). Check them out a couple times I’d say at the Bitter End if you’re not sold immediately and maybe talk to Day or one of the other band members if you can; each vocalist they have brings their own energy and skill set. Their repertoire and sound was unparalleled compared to other bands we considered and was even better on our actual event. When we think back to our wedding we think about how we could get these guys back for another show. Maybe an anniversary party??

In 2015, my husband and I went to a wedding where we knew no one and we were kind of dreading the awkward small talk we'd be forced to make, and we wondered how we'd spend our evening, and also how early we could leave without being rude. Then 45 Riots began playing the reception and we had the TIME OF OUR LIVES. It was truly the best wedding ever, and when we got engaged in 2017, I knew I had to hire them for our big day. 45 Riots are amazing. They know their stuff, and are extremely receptive to song requests from the couple. They had the entire room on their feet THE WHOLE NIGHT and all of our guests -- from our 60-something-year-old parents to our 30-something-year-old friends to our teenage cousins -- could not stop complimenting how great the band was and how much fun they had. My friends, who just had a baby 6 months ago, keep texting me about how they want to hire 45 Riots for the baby's bar mitzvah in 13 years! I can only hope they do -- we'll know we'll have a blast!!! -

45 Riots talent and professionalism were impecable. We had a number of wedding guests who subsequently asked for contact information for the band as they were "the best wedding band I have ever seen and I have been to over 100 weddings!".
We were blown away by the dedication to detail, the natural flow, and the wonderful MC work. They truly set an amazing acoustical background to our perfect day. We cannot thank you enough! -
Tal Sent on 11/09/2017If you read no further.... MAKE YOUR LIFE EASY AND HIRE THIS BAND. I had one responsibility for our wedding- Music. Sure, I had input on Food and Booze, but that was secondary to my original love- curating incredible live music. With a year and a half to plan, I expected to take a while to make a decision. Nah. One Shot One Kill when it came to this crew. Sure, I loved the videos, but every wedding band has videos. When I saw them perform live at BB Kings, and it was a wrap. The sound, the passion, the creativity to make popular songs their own and understand a crowd... it's unparalleled. Working with David, Adam and Robin was the finishing touch- they understand what you want and give you the best version of that. No matter how many other bands your friends might suggest, or how good you might remember someone else's wedding band being, there is NO COMPETITION. No band comes close to the authenticity and musical skill as 45 Riots. I spent 20 minutes of my own wedding Afterparty just thanking each member of the band, because honestly, they made our wedding the best weekend of my life. 45 RIOTS in the SPOT.
