Best Decision Ever
Working with 402 Events for our wedding was one of the BEST decisions we have ever made - I would do it again a million times over. There is no way we would have been able to execute our vision without their help and expertise, and I could not imagine the day without them! This team truly went above and beyond to make our day the most special - their attention to detail is remarkable and they made EVERYTHING on my wish list come to life. Their list of recommended vendors was a huge help, and played such a big part in executing our vision - every choice was curated perfectly to us. The whole process went so smoothly, and the wedding day itself was absolutely magical - I seriously felt like a princess. 402 Events was able to help us navigate tough decisions when it came to our budget. The ideas we ultimately couldn't fit in the budget were met with alternative cost-friendly options that were equally as beautiful. Walking into the reception room for our 'room reveal' before guests arrived is something I will never forget. Every little detail we had worked on and discussed for a year was executed PERFECTLY, even more than I was expecting. I honestly was a bit sad when the wedding ended because I enjoyed working with the 402 team so much, I didn't want it to end! They seriously made us feel like family. Could not recommend them more if you are planning a wedding or any event! -

Dear 402 Events Team,
Sabrina & Trey's wedding day was honestly the most magical event that I have ever had the pleasure to be a part of.
I cannot express enough how incredible the 402 team was to work with! Marley, Alex, Makalya, Lauren...each of you are beyond exceptional and have your own special style and skillset...all which compliment one another.
Sabrina and I both agree that hiring 402 Events was the BEST decision that we ever made (next to the Christmas Trees of course...thank you Alex!!)! We hired 402's Full Service Planning tier and it was worth every penny! From putting stamps on invitations to tying bows on menus to every last stunning detail, 402 took care of EVERYTHING. The point I would like to make here is that we trusted 402 and their incredibly talented team to take care of everything for us. I do not say this lightly as I can admit, I am a very picky mother-of-the bride with great attention to detail. I can tell you that 402 lived up to every expectation, every to-do, every detail, every vision that we asked of them. Sabrina and I did not have to do one task throughout the year-long wedding planning process or on the day of the wedding. We were able to enjoy and savor every beautiful, breathtaking moment.
On the day...when Makayla took Alex and I inside the venue for our "First Look" before the guests arrived, I was speechless. It literally took my breath away. It was everything a mother could wish for her daughter's wedding day. We had talked and planned for a year and now, here it was in real life...simply magical. Breathtaking. I had never seen a more beautiful space. It was tangible...the energy, the magic, the love, the warmth, you could feel it all in that room.
There were so many beautiful moments throughout the year of planning with 402 Events (I tear up just thinking about it). Wedding Planning, as we have learned, is not always beautiful and happy and warm & fuzzy. There are some very real, human moments along the way that are necessary throughout the planning process, particularly around budgets and finances. The team at 402 Events handled these meetings and conversations with such warmth and love and grace, and held our hand throughout the entire process. I cannot express my gratitude enough for this team. It was a year filled with hugs and tears and lots of love.
Thank you 402 Events for making our vision come true! It was truly magical.
We love you and miss you already!

We did the wish package for our October wedding and I cannot recommend 402 Events enough! Having a good day-of coordinator was especially important for us, since neither of us currently lives in Omaha. Steven was super helpful walking us through the various packages during our first meeting, and our coordinators Shayla and Alex did an amazing job making sure our day ran smoothly. They were able to work with our crazy schedules when setting up the initial meetings. They were also very responsive and helpful in the days leading up to the wedding as well. If anything went wrong, we didn't notice! -

Finding 402 Events and hiring them for the Dream Planning Package was the best decision we could have ever made! Steven, Marley, and the rest of the team had everything laid out for us to make our wedding planning seamless and enjoyable. Their organization and attention to detail made us feel confident that our big day would be a success. They were happy to accomodate our must-haves and suggested great ideas when we were unsure. 402 helped us from start to finish, including to help transform our venue by using globe lighting and pillar draping. We were over the moon with the end result and have already recommended 402 Events to everyone we know!! -

Wonderful!
Lindsey at 402 helped coordinate my daughter’s wedding. Initially I was going to have day of coordination but decided I needed a little more help. It was money well spent. Lindsey was so helpful and had great ideas. The day of the wedding was flawless and we had many compliments on how smoothly things went. Planning a wedding is still work and if I had questions I had answers. Get a coordinator. Even if just day of, you will be pleased. Thank you Lindsey and 402! -

Hiring 402 event services was the best decision we made when we started planning our wedding a year ago. We got to work with Jordan and Colleen who were the absolute sweetest and made sure everything was what we wanted. They made planning and our wedding day stress free, seriously don’t know what we would have done without them. They have so much experience and recommended the best vendors for our wedding, and saved us some money. Nolan and I highly suggest 402 event services to anyone!! -

402 worked so hard on our venue. They played and integral part on the design, décor, and install to make it the most beautiful place we have ever seen. They COMPLETELY transformed the space with the exact style and feel we wanted. The final project blew our minds. Absolutely BREATHTAKING. We will never forget this day for the rest of our lives. 402 was a big part of our day and leading up to our day, and will forever be grateful for them.t out of the park with globe lighting for the entire venue and major installs of greenery wall with lighting and custom made frame work with lighting which was hung over our head table. We had a very specific vision of what we wanted. 402 was the most patient to work with, and when we didn't like something-they kept sourcing and working until we were 100% satisficed. There is so much that goes into a wedding, and I really underestimated all the time it can take calling and making connections with people to get things set up...402 took care of all of this. In fact, I would say this is one of the best parts of their services. Not one time during our wedding day was I stressed or worried about things/people arriving on time or getting done. 402 went above and beyond to make our day truly the best day ever. We are forever grateful for the help of 402 and making our visions come to life. They exceeded our expectations 1000%. 402 excels with communication, organization, timeliness, and costumer satisfaction. 402 had our backs the entire process, specifically when it came towards working with various vendors and getting what we wanted. Not only is 402 a great company to work with, but they are the BEST people. We really got to know both Colleen and Steven during our wedding planning process and they have become our friends. They are both sweet and respectable. The felt like family with our best interests in mind.

I hired 402 Events to assist with my day of coordination. I do not regret this decision, it was easily the best decision made for our wedding. I was assisted by Colleen who was shadowed by Nicole. Both were excellent! They put up and tore down my decorations as well as kept our event flowing perfectly. Our venue looked great. They followed my directions without issue. We were ahead of time the whole evening. They ensured all gifts, left overs, and décor was packed away at the end of the evening in their assigned cars and kept all my other vendors organized. They were really on top of everything!
On a separate note of awesomeness, my seamstress really messed up my bustle, so much so that Colleen spent almost 15-20 minutes with me in the bathroom trying to fix it. I am so grateful to her, because no one expects their coordinator to be a last-minute seamstress.
My meetings were great with her. She thought of things that didn’t even cross my mind. I am certain that our wedding would not have flowed as great as it did without her and Nicole. Thank you, ladies!

Nothing short of EPIC! We worked with 402 Event Services and purchased their Dream Wedding Package. Our wedding vision was executed beyond our expectations. I always joked that I wanted our wedding to be an event....it really was a true production.
We were engaged on December 31, 2018 and I was diagnosed with Cancer shortly afterwards. The best thing I did after saying “YES” was hiring 402 Event Services. They were very professional yet very personable. Were contemplating postponing our wedding until I was better but they did EVERYTHING!! We would say Yes/No, approve and pay which was exactly what I needed since I was going through treatment and had surgery. They even came to the hospital and dropped items off to me allowing me to stay stress-free and heal!
Working with their list of vendors was just as great. They executed the same level of professionalism! The florist implemented my Heavenly vision as I wanted all white flowers. It was breathtaking!! Our wedding wasn’t your typical wedding as our wishlist of entertainers, photographers and videographers were from different states. 402 Event Services executed their riders perfectly, as well as flights, accommodation, security, lighting, sound checks, equipment needs, menus and a host of other things.
Our wedding day was EPIC! The rest of the staff were just as professional and nice. My father’s shirt did not make it to the venue, definitely a reason to panic and stress but 402 Event Services saved the day and got my father a shirt!! We are still receiving daily calls complimenting on how well things flowed, how beautiful everything was and that there was never a dull moment. We can’t thank you enough for everything that you all did for us!!! It was the wedding of our dreams and our guests say they have never seen and been apart of anything like it!!!

Steven and his team did an amazing job on the backdrops and uplighting. I loved the way the head table backdrop turned out, it definitely completed the picture! The Satin material was the way to go, especially since we were looking to cover up the venue's walls and company store. The uplighting was commented on by many as the placement truly highlighted the whole space. Lastly, I appreciated how calm his team was during set up with all of the grief we got from our venue space. They listened to all concerns and made changes as necessary to make it all perfect. -

402 (Dave and Grant) did the DJ, MC, sound, and lighting for our wedding. Everyone we worked with to plan was professional and Dave and Grant brought a great energy to the evening. Everything was absolutely perfect and we received so many compliments on how fun the reception was. -

Nothing went wrong and when I showed up to the venue, Kelsie had turned it into my dream wedding! Steven was always so responsive to any of my requests or questions, I don’t think I was stressed out one time during my year long wedding planning. I put all of my trust into 402 and they delievered! They were by far the best money spent when it came to our wedding. Thanks 402!!!!!!!

Jack Sent on 10/12/2017402 Event Services hung globe lighting for the reception. The lighting created the perfect atmosphere. Exactly what we were trying to accomplish. They invited us to come to the venue to approve of where they were hanging the lights which we appreciated. They were great to work with and the pricing was reasonable.

I hired 402 Events, specifically their Wish Package and I “wished” I hadn’t. 402 was to decorate and provide Day of Coordination services as well as Vendor coordination. I was paired with Sarah who unfortunately was inexperienced. We received several complaints from our vendors including our florist, photographer, DJ, Bus Rental company and Venue. She confused our vendors, was not prepared for meetings, and provided more chaos than organization. I stepped in and managed all our vendors to ensure there was no confusion with expectations. For same day coordination my venue stepped in and managed the day, including 402 Events to ensure everything went over smooth. I provided direct feedback to the owner following the wedding of my dissatisfaction and that I could provide examples from vendor feedback, texts and emails and he stated he would research and get back to me approximately 3 weeks or so. I sent an email 3 weeks later to get an update to find out that he needs more time due to personal issues, being too busy and coordination of his internal employees’ schedules to meet with them to get feedback, taking several weeks additionally to address. By the time this is addressed, all the issues/concerns become stale. The customer service has been far from acceptable as his company was paid upfront for the work done, however I paid $750 for a service that I did not receive. Although the lighting draping and backdrop were provided as discussed, the consultative package and customer service, I would not recommend as you should not have to wait for your concerns to be addressed.
