I got married at 360 East in May of 2022 and it was everything I could've wanted. Doug, Jhon & Christine did an amazing job from the day I booked the venue all the way through to the day of.

They coordinated with me on every detail and provided great suggestions throughout on things from food to recommended vendors. All vendors that were recommended were great and it made the planning experience seamless. I had an amazing wedding at this beautiful venue and I recommend it to anyone who is looking to get married in Montauk or Long Island in general. The food, views, service and beautiful ballroom were all top notch. It’s been a month and our friends and family can’t stop raving about the wedding.

Doug, John and the team at 360 East were nothing short of incredible. Through 3 wedding postponements they made our planning process easy! Our guests raved about the food and the gorgeous space. John our Maitre'd was extremely attentive to not only us as the bride and groom, but our parents and guests as well. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an all inclusive wedding venue that isn't just another Long Island catering hall.

DEFINITELY GET MARRIED HERE! My wife and I got married at 360 East in October of 2021, and we were absolutely in love with everything about this place. First of all, to say that the manager, Doug, was a pleasure to work with is a complete understatement. He was like our saving grace during the extremely stressful process of trying to plan a wedding during these crazy times of COVID. He was always open and honest with us, and he supported us through many stressful moments as we had to postpone our wedding TWICE! There's tons of decisions to make, but Doug is a master at his craft and will always lead you in the right direction. After our meetings with him, we always felt comfortable that our wedding day was in his hands. On top of that, his staff, especially his maitre d' (special shout out to Jonathan!) and bridal attendant treated us like royalty on the day of our wedding; we always had a drink waiting for us, food in our suite and at our table, and anything else we needed without even asking. We had our ceremony at the bluffs in Montauk which has a backdrop of the ocean and the lighthouse; talk about the most beautiful place to get married! The venue itself is gorgeous with high vaulted ceilings, dark wood, and really unique lights. Not to mention the 360 view with windows all around. The food was some of the best wedding food we've ever had and our guests are still raving about the entire day. Do yourself a favor and look no further; this place is the real deal!

We had the most beautiful wedding at the most beautiful venue thanks to Doug and John. From the moment we met Doug we knew he was someone we could trust and rely on to make our wedding day perfect. He is personable, professional, experienced, and on top of every little detail (seriously!!). Any question we had was immediately responded to via email or phone- didn’t matter what time of day (even 4 in the morning!) Considering we were total newbies at wedding planning, Doug made wonderful recommendations based on what was most important to us and our families on our big day. Additionally, we had to postpone our wedding from September of last year, which he made as smooth and stressless as possible given the circumstances.
Wedding day arrived and we were anxious about things going according to plan. Thankfully Doug and John made it very clear that it was in their hands, allowing us to feel like VIP guests at our own wedding. I would bet big money that John cloned himself- he was everywhere at the same time, managing the timing of things, tending to our guests, and constantly making sure that we had everything we could have wanted at any given time. We weren’t expecting to be able to eat or drink much but we're happy to say we got to try everything while enjoying every other aspect of the day. And, by the way, the food was incredible! Everyone raved about it for weeks after. We honestly can’t thank Doug and John enough- they are quite the duo!!

My husband and I fell in love with the photos and video of 360 East’s venue for our 2020 wedding and after meeting Doug we knew this was the best place for us. Doug was so helpful, honest, and enthusiastic about our wedding plans and so responsive to our calls and emails. When we’d have questions or changes, he’d frequent reply: “my job is to make you happy!”. Sadly, we were unable to host the big wedding we planned because of COVID (opted for a backyard wedding instead). Doug was so compassionate and understanding throughout all of our struggles and genuinely cared about us having the day we imagined. We’re sad that we couldn’t host our big day at 360 East, but are confident that Doug and his crew would have made our wedding perfect if not for COVID. Highly recommend!!!

We cannot say enough good things about the location, venue, and especially the team of professionals at Montauk Downs! We had our ceremony overlooking the lighthouse, and our reception back at the venue. It was exactly what we wanted from top to bottom, and the staff could not have been more helpful, accommodating, professional and easy to work with. Doug, the general manager was so helpful and attentive during our planning, always getting back to us right away with any questions we had, from the very beginning all the way through to our wedding day. He is extremely professional and experienced, and we could not have imagined a better person to help bring everything together. The Maitre D and Bridal Attendant the day of anticipated all of our needs before we even could, and were so attentive, making sure every detail was taken care of. We are SO thrilled with how everything turned out, and HIGHLY recommend this venue and the team there! They are top notch! Thank you so much for making our day perfect in every single way!

We got married at 360 East on 9/29/19 and it was, from start to finish, simply PERFECT. Doug Sheehan, the GM, is simply the best at what he does. From our first meeting we talked all about why we loved Montauk so much and knew before we even walked in that we were booking there. He is so dedicated and helped me with every silly question along the way. The week of our wedding we spent hours going over how we wanted every detail, he and his staff were so helpful with their suggestions but really let us have our day the way we wanted it. Jon and Asia calmed my nerves so well the day of the wedding and every detail was simply immaculate. We were really treated like kings and queens, our guests would not stop raving about the food and the experience and just how stunning the venue is. We loved that it’s not your “typical” catering hall, you really can’t beat the stunning views of Montauk and floor to ceiling windows. We had considered a wedding planner, but with Doug and his entire team there’s really no need for one. My husband Henry and I were married at 360 East on Saturday, September 21st. The word that comes to mind is PERFECTION. After 13 years together, we truly had our dream wedding in Montauk. That was due in no small part to the time, attention, and care that General Manager Doug dedicated to each and every detail of our wedding day. Doug was organized, responsive, easy to communicate with, and kept our planning on track from the start. He accommodated our wishes without hesitation, while thoughtfully counseling us on the pros and cons of each option so that every choice was informed. Throughout the planning process Doug was beyond helpful and had our best interests top of mind all times.

When our wedding day finally came, our plans were executed flawlessly. From the beautiful ceremony at Camp Hero, to the gorgeous sunset cocktail hour, to dinner and dancing late into the evening, Doug and Maitre’d Jhon made sure that everything went according to plan and not a single detail was out of place. Our guests were so impressed by the food (highly recommend the lobster risotto!), the service, and of course that incredible view from the dining room! Nearly everyone we have spoken to has told us it was the BEST wedding they have ever been to!

The hospitality at 360 East compares to none. Jhon gave Henry and me and our families his undivided attention throughout the day, anticipating our every need. Our glasses and plates were always full, and Jhon made sure everyone knew exactly where they needed to be and when. It was amazing. Doug and Jhon also helped us deal with an unwelcome guest in a way that was discreet so as not to disturb us and our other guests.

Doug and Jhon and their staff are consummate professionals, and we couldn’t recommend 360 East more highly. Our wedding was PERFECTION. Our only regret is that it’s over! Thank you Doug and Jhon for bringing our dream wedding to life! ✨

My husband and I got married here this May, and they helped us create the wedding of our dreams! Each staff member was very professional, going the extra mile to make things happen seamlessly and just the way we wanted. Knowledgeable, friendly, and honest, Douglas could not have been a greater asset to help us iron out the fine details of our dream wedding. With excellent suggestions for local vendors and prompt communication, planning the wedding from afar was a breeze. John provided clear instruction and guidance throughout the reception and made everything come together beautifully. Jasmine was an excellent bridal attendant, she helped me stay relaxed and enjoy my special day by taking care of all the small details. I can’t believe how amazing our wedding turned out, to be married in such a beautiful location, basking in the sun beside a gorgeous bluff above the ocean was breathtaking, and to celebrate with our reception with such an incredible space, what else could you ask for? All of the food was incredible! Not only was dinner amazing, but there were plenty of stations, and great hor d'oeuvres. Nearly every guested said it has been the best wedding they had attended! I can’t thank Douglas, John, Jasmine, and the entire staff for making our dream wedding a reality. Thank you!

I planned my entire wedding with help from my mother but never hired a wedding planner or a day-of planner. I do not regret a thing. Doug Sheehan at 360 East - Montauk Downs was so professional and helpful during the planning process that he made everything so easy. I often felt like I had random or silly questions throughout the planning process and he was so easy to reach and answered every single question I had. Doug deals with his clients according to their wishes and is certainly a 'make it happen' kind of guy. If there was something that just could not be done, Doug guided us with his professional opinion and makes everything work. Doug also assured that his staff were professional and accommodating and they really were. The moment we walked into the venue on the day of the wedding, John and Danielle greeted us at the door, introduced themselves and were there for every step of the night. They were essentially our 'day-of' planners. Both of them made my husband and I feel like a king and queen the entire night. It meant so much to us that they were so helpful that night and were also one step ahead of us. We had a very large wedding and Doug was also very accommodating of the size of our party. The room did not feel packed, it was actually perfect. From the moment we booked the venue to the day of the wedding, Doug was so helpful I really can't thank him (and his staff) enough. I know all of our guests had an amazing night of food, cocktails and dancing. It was truly perfect and my husband and I will never forget it!

We got married on June 24, 2016 and we must say that our special day wouldn't have been complete if weren't for the outstanding service of 360 East at Montauk Downs' General Manager, Mr. Doug Sheehan, the Maitre D, John, and the rest of the staff.
During the wedding planning, it was honestly a toss up between 360 East and the Montauk Yacht Club. After meeting with Doug, we did not hesitate choosing 360 East as our wedding venue. Doug was very passionate about his work, the service and what 360 East could offer. He was with us every step of the way throughout our 14-month engagement.
It's only been over a week since our wedding, but our guests are still talking about how perfect our wedding was. From the gorgeous views to the delicious food, we highly recommend booking your wedding at 360 East! We really wish we could do it again!

We had our wedding this past June at 360 East on Montauk Downs, and we cannot say enough great things about this venue. The food, quality of service, and atmosphere surpassed all of our expectations. From the bottom of our hearts, we have to thank to Doug and his wonderful team for what was truly the most incredible wedding reception.
First, the food at 360 is excellent and superior to the quality at other Lessing's properties (which are pretty good, we have been to many) and is some of the best we ever had at a wedding. We both come from large Italian families who are very picky about where they eat, and we continue to get positive comments on the quality of the food months after our wedding. All of the passed appetizers and stations, especially the raw bar, were delicious, elegantly presented, and incredibly bountiful. The cake, which is provided by Rolling Pin Bakery, is beautiful and the best we've had - the groom ate two pieces.
In terms of atmosphere, the space is beautiful, and speaks for itself, although it is wonderful while the sun sets during cocktail hour. It has a perfect Montauk feel without being directly on the water.
Finally, we have nothing but rave reviews for Doug and his team. Doug is basically like getting a wedding planner for free with your venue. He is very detail oriented and will go over every part of your reception with you multiple times. Doug offers his opinion and expertise for how the day should flow (trust him), menu, etc. but is always willing to make sure your day is exactly what you want. During the reception, Doug and the rest of his team - especially our maitre d’ and bridal attendant - are just as wonderful and attentive. They were helpful to all our guests, most importantly making sure the groom’s 92 year old grandma was comfortably brought up in the elevator and seated. As you can see by this lengthy review, we absolutely loved our reception and don’t have a single negative thing to say about Doug, his team, or 360.

AMAZINGGGGG! 360 East at Montauk Downs was the absolute perfect place to get married. From the first day we started working with Doug (General Manager) to the last minute of the night, our wedding went so smoothly with all the details that we wanted. Montauk has always been near and dear to my husband and my heart, and we knew we would want to get married there. We had our ceremony at the Catholic Church (Father Tom gave an incredible message) and then our reception at 360 East. The views around the deck are so beautiful as the sun sets, and then the transitions into the beautiful room was seamless. Doug, Jake, and the team did such a spectacular job in making our day better than we could have ever hoped for. The food was to die for, all of our guests told us they thought it was delicious! The lighting of the big chandeliers is breathtaking and the wood panels make the room very unique. We added a raw bar for the cocktail hour, which had 2 shuckers giving out the fresh oysters. Doug works with you on what works well for the room and what doesn't. All of the Lessings vendors that are recommended did such a fantastic job in making our vision come to life. I would highly recommend the venue to any bride and groom looking to have an event that will blow your guests away. Thank you so much to our vendors especially Doug and Jake, for making our day the best day of our lives. We are so appreciative of all of your hard work. To any of the brides and grooms out there, you won't regret getting married here!!

Had a wonderful wedding at 360 East! Gorgeous facility! Amazing service! Delicious Food! Staff was welcoming and fun to be with that day. The personal attendant, Michelle, was a truly wonderful added bonus! John, the Maitre De helped our guest and us feel relaxed and taken care of. Thanks to Doug, the manager, for helping us with our special requests! We couldn't be happier that we chose this venue with all of the little extra special touches that made our wedding perfect and unique. The value for the outstanding service/food/drink/personal touches is amazing.

While looking for venues in Montauk, I was pleasantly surprised by how reasonably priced 360 East was. I felt like you could have a beautiful wedding without having to feel like you had to deplete your life savings. Then came the wedding…and everything was absolute perfection. The food was out of this world, and the service and staff were unbeatable. We had everything taken care of and it really felt like we were taken care of. During the planning process, I felt at times brushed aside and some of my requests were not do-able and hoped more compromising would have happened, but in the end, the day happened without a single flaw and for that I am grateful. The everyday staff is small (2 people) so, if you’re a person planning everything ahead of time (I am a stage manager, I can’t not plan) just know that they will communicate but it may not feel like it’s all just for you, because they have a lot going on each week/weekend. But once it was our turn, we felt very taken care of. Happiest day of our lives! 💜💜💜

The venue itself is gorgeous. We chose it for its 360 degree views of the ocean, high ceilings, and wood floors. I’m an interior designer, so it was important to me not to have a catering hall feel, to be rustic without being too much of a barn, and to feel airy and spacious. Unfortunately you don’t get to do a food tasting. They offer for you to pay to go to another location to taste food by a different chef.. didn’t really see the point in doing that. But the food turned out to be fantastic. Our guests raved about our add-ons: raw bar, trattoria station, and hot to-go pretzel. We got married on a day it was over 100 degrees, so we understood it would be hot, but we weren’t even at max capacity and the air conditioning was not sufficient. The space isn’t super accommodating for those with accessibility issues - I personally never even saw the elevator, but I believe there is one that goes through the kitchen for vendors to use. The real reason for this not getting 5 stars - Doug Sheehan the general manager. I knew what I was getting myself into the day we signed with him, and past reviews are correct - he’s impossible to work with, but he makes sure your wedding day is fabulous. And although this is true, that our wedding day was fabulous, I don’t know that it made up for the year and a half I had to deal with him, his rudeness, and condescending attitude. He took all the joy out of wedding planning; I was consistently dreading knowing I needed to speak to him. My husband and I both work 9-5 desk jobs, and in industries where we know having things in writing is important. Doug basically refuses to respond over email, and will call you 5 times a day, leaving a voicemail every time. And while I have no problem talking to people on the phone, it is a problem when I’m at my job and can’t be taking personal calls all day. I expressed multiple times that email was the best way to reach me and my preferred method of communication. I made it known from the beginning that I was very organized and detail oriented, and wanted to do things for the wedding whenever I had time. With that said, whenever I reached out I always said “no rush”. I would try to send as few, and as concise emails as I could, only when looking for answers that I had no way of getting on my own. I did so much leg work just to avoid having to ask him unnecessary questions. In 2018, I was told “this is 2018 and you’re a 2019 bride”. I also work in an industry with clients, and I know that even if you have 100 clients, it is your job to make each one feel as if they’re your only one. He makes everything as if he’s doing you a favor, when really he’s just doing his job. And you get to constantly hear about his other job and priority - the cafe. The positive here - the Maitre D, Jhon Rodriguez. I wish I could have worked directly with him the entire time. He is so calming, accommodating, and professional. He wore a tux in the 100 degree heat; I told him he could take it off and he insisted to keep it on. Not a second of the night went by where he wasn’t in sight, attending to my husband and I. He was organized and made sure the wedding went exactly to the schedule I provided them, in terms of when I wanted dances done, the cake cutting, etc. If I wanted to change something in the spur of the moment, he was on it and had everything under control. The bridal attendants and wait staff were excellent.
