  Best food and best service!

  My fiancé and I went to multiple tastings at various caterers in the triad area. Tara at 24 Blackbirds Cafe not only had the best food but the presentation was amazing. The food at our wedding was SO good. Tara was able to customize specialty appetizers for us. Our favorite was the tomato soup shooter with a grilled cheese wedge. It has been a weeks after our wedding and all of our friends and family cannot stop talking about great the food was. I want to also note that during the planning process Tara was prompt at responding, professional, accommodating, and so sweet. We had to delay our wedding due to COVID and change venues; she was flexible and gracious through all of it. My husband and I highly recommend Tara and her team at 24 Blackbirds cafe. 10/10!

  More than wedding food!

  We were blown away with 24 Blackbirds Catering for our July 2023 wedding. Guests told us our cocktail hour food was the best they have ever had and we had no shortage of entrees and options at our reception. The team is communicative and helped us build a menu that was especially designed for our event and carried it out flawlessly. They even supplied their own bartenders that kept the drinks flowing all night. We absolutely recommend them for your event!

  Recommend!

  24 blackbirds did a great job with both our rehearsal dinner and wedding catering! They were reasonably priced compared to other caterers we spoke with, and we have gotten several compliments on the food! Staff was also very kind and helpful.

  Wedding on 5/20/23

  Tara did the catering for our wedding and it was amazing! So many people have told me afterwards it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding and everyone lived the tacos! Tara was a pleasure to work with and very responsive. The catering were all friendly and did a great job as well!

  Very professional service from the planning until the packing away for the event. We received many compliments, during our rehearsal dinner, on the quality of the food. I would highly recommend 24 Blackbirds and would not hesitate to use them again.

  Tara and her crew were fabulous. The food was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. Tara was easy to work with and had such good suggestions. Her crew was wondering as well! They even signed the wedding guest book and took Polaroid pics of themselves! I would use them again and again!!

  Excellent food, service, communication, and value!

  My daughter & now husband really enjoyed their tasting with Tara months prior to their wedding on 10.15.2022. Their choice was chicken pesto, Caesar salad, roasted vegetables which was excellent! The staff was personable and served the dinner on real dinnerware at no additional fee. They also nicely packed leftovers for the family to take home. Guests provided positive feedback which was great to hear. We'd have them cater for us again in the future! Linda (MOB)

  Tara and her team went above and beyond for my wedding day, and also my rehearsal dinner! Everyone loved the food and her staff! We cannot thank them enough for making our weekend for special! We did not have to worry about a single thing! 10000/10 would recommend them!

  Our experience with Tara and 24 Blackbirds was excellent - the food choices were abundant and so tasty! With so many other things happening - I loved that I didn't have to lift a finger on the day of our daughter's wedding - everything was flawless.

  We are so incredibly happy that we booked 24 Blackbirds! Every single thing we tasted was amazing. All of our guests commented on how tasty everything was. They were so easy to work with and everything was exactly as we imagined it!

  DELICIOUS, was a hit at our wedding!

  For our wedding we did the Southern BBQ feast, and everyone raved about it! Tara was super accommodating, and helped us swap out items to make more options for vegetarians, etc. We also loved the hors d'oeuvres for the cocktail hour - especially the chicken and waffles and the mini cheeseburgers with the tiny pickles! Communication was great and prices are super reasonable. Absolutely recommend!

  Couldn't be happier with 24 Blackbirds!

  We used 24 Blackbirds for our wedding catering and that was one of the best decisions in our wedding planning process. First and foremost, the food was great. We had several of our guests go out of their way to compliment the food (we went with the marinated sliced flank steak, BBQ chicken, and added pesto penne pasta as a side and all three of those were delicious). Even our vegan guests said their special plates were great. The service from Tara and her team was also fabulous. Our previously scheduled bartender had to drop out the week of the wedding due to COVID, and Tara found the extra staff to add bartending services for our 100 guests on three-days notice, which was a lifesaver and helped alleviate our stress. 24 Blackbirds was one of the more affordable options during our search and I can't imagine a better value out there. I highly recommend them for your next event.

  Delicious food and amazing service!

  24 Blackbirds catered our wedding and did nothing short of an amazing job! Tara was extremely helpful from start to finish and her communication was excellent. The staff were very friendly and professional. A lot of the wedding guests kept telling us how delicious the food was. Thank you Tara!

  Tara and her catering company are amazing! The food was so good, she did the cutest tasting for us, and the day of she was nothing but professional! The spread/setup looked amazing and we had so many people rave about how good the food was. Not to mention she was VERY reasonably priced! Highly recommend her!

We needed to keep our menu vegetarian and kosher, and she was great with suggestions and accommodating any special requests. Everything was perfect, she was quick with communication, and our guests raved about the food. She also fixed our (bride and groom) plates for us without asking, and packed up the leftovers for us to take home, which was so sweet. Thank you so much!

She truly was like working with an old family friend and made us comfortable every step of the way! I truly believe any combination of the appetizers, salads and entrees would go together! Tara took my pinterest inspired food presentation dreams and made them a reality--the signs, candles and greenery were the perfect touches! When she says you don't need a knife for the chicken, she's not kidding! For our cocktail hour we chose the Dip Trio and the Artisanal Cheese Display. Our dinner was well enjoyed and consisted of the Garden Salad with Ranch or Balsamic dressing, Herb Roasted Chicken, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Herb Roasted Vegetables, and Dinner Rolls. Teas and Water were available as well as plates, silverware and serving staff. Very fair price for the quality provided! I would recommend 24 Blackbirds Cafe for many types of events ---breakfast, lunch or dinner-- I had the luxury of eating a delicious breakfast at work as well, with mini pancakes, bacon/sausage, eggs and grits!   As a wedding venue, this team knocked it out of the park! We would place them at the top of vendor list with their professionalism, set up presentation and overall quality of service and food. Extremely easy to work with prior to the event and during. Their team can walk into a space, without seeing it before hand, and put together a catering display beyond your expectations. We highly recommend this catering vendor!

  Wedding Caterer

  I was so pleased with the punctuality, kindness, and efficiency of 24 Blackbirds’ staff. They went above and beyond to make things go perfectly smooth for my daughter’s wedding reception. The food was amazing, and I would absolutely hire them again!

  Church Christmas Dinner

  Our church Christmas dinner was catered by 24 Blackbirds. They were reasonably priced, very professional to work with. They were on time with drop off and set up. The food was delicious! We would highly recommend them!

  Creative, Flexible, Affordable, Delicious!

  Tara was exceptional, VERY accommodating, and affordable! She had a lot to deal with: covid19 protocols AND gluten free vegan food. From initial consultation to the wedding day she wasn’t gracious, professional, and supportive in our overall plan. She helped come up with a unique menu that worked for us. Thank you, Tara!!!

  Tara was a champ through our months and months of questions, requests, delays, and changes. The magic of planning a COVID wedding from another time zone. Firstly, the food was DELICIOUS. Everyone, of all tastes and dietary needs, was satisfied. My sister has since asked me what the chicken was (it was Mediterranean chicken with mushrooms, capers, and artichoke lemon sauce) so she can try to replicate it herself. Tara was also extremely accommodating and easy to work with. Going from 150 to 25 guests, we had extra money in our initial deposit, so she concocted a brunch menu that was perfectly light but satisfying the morning of the wedding. In the early phases when we were picking out a caterer, she also let my cousin have a tasting at the cafe since we were out of state. Overall, I loved working with 24 Blackbirds and would pick them again.
