Such an Amazing Experience

Working with 217 Beauty was absolutely amazing! I was originally referred by a friend and immediately booked a wedding hair & makeup trial with Liz and her team. I was beyond impressed with their professionalism and knowledge of beauty products and styles. The communication with Liz was phenomenal. She was very accommodating as I ended up having two wedding trials to try out different hair and makeup styles.

On my wedding day, I had 4 artists come to the hotel that my bridesmaids and I were staying at. They were all prompt and ready to get started on my large wedding party. I was assigned to Hair by Leilani and Makeup by Gaby for my wedding day. Gaby and Leilani also did my mother’s look, which came out so beautiful. I’m so glad I was able to meet the both of them at my first and second trial to try different looks with them. They created such a beautiful wedding look for me, better than I expected! We finished at the perfect time with time to spare for touch ups. I’m so happy I chose 217 Beauty to help me and my wedding party look stunning on my special day. It was such a pleasure working with them and I highly recommend 217 Beauty for any event.

It was a pleasure to have Liz do my makeup on my wedding day. She is so sweet and attentive; it was fun and relaxing to be in her hands. She made me, my mom, sister and aunt all look beautiful! My mom and I had done a trail with her and she duplicated the exact look we had decided on. My sister and aunt had not done a trial, but Liz was nevertheless able to give them exactly what they wanted. I had an early evening wedding in NYC and she was able to strike a perfect balance of day-into-night makeup (she recommended a darker shade for my lips for the reception) and a very natural look with just a bit of modern edge for my eyes. My eyes popped like they have never before, in every single picture (professional or on my friends’ cameras). She is super professional, punctual, and flexible (she was able to fit in my aunt at the last minute).

Working for Liz Rodriguez at 217 Beauty was BEYOND the most AMAZING decision for my wedding. I had the pleasure of having her do my trial makeup for my bridal shower and it came out incredible. Most of all, what I loved, loved, loved was how comfortable, nice, fun, and special Liz made me feel during my trial and especially during my wedding. Whenever I needed to ask her a question, she aways responded right away and with a positive attitude. The day of the wedding, Liz arrived on right on time with a smile on her face ready to work. All of my girls, and especially my mother loved the way their makeup looked. When it came down to me, words in this review could not do justice to the spectacular job she did on the most important day of my life. Liz took her time and made sure I looked awesome at my wedding. My makeup throughout the day (mind you it was on a hot August day) felt flawless, natural, and well basically I looked and felt like a movie star. Liz, THANK YOU SO MUCH for making me look so AMAZING on the day of my wedding. I highly recommend Liz to any brides out there because she truly is an artist when it comes to makeup and seriously just look at her previous work and it speaks for itself. Once when my cousin Divya, got married I loved how her makeup was done for her wedding. I knew since then at a young age that I wanted 217 beauty to be the team to do my hair and makeup for my wedding day! I was so excited, when Liz said that she was available to do my makeup and hair for my wedding. Liz is hands down the best makeup artist, she knows how to work with Indian clients. She knew exactly what look I wanted. Even though she is pregnant she still did my hair and makeup with no hesitation. Everyone loved how the hair and makeup came out for the bridal party. Liz is so easy to talk to and makes sure that everything is done on time. Her staff is amazing as well and are so talented. I would definitely hire 217 beauty for future events and have been telling all my friends and family about 217 beauty. If I can give more than 5 stars, I would! We love you Liz :)

I can’t not put into words how happy I was with Liz and Angela’s work! I would highly recommend Liz and Angela to anyone without any hestitation. Thank you for showing up at 4AM and being so fun to work with. Thank you for being so flexible and catering to my family and I. I truly feel my wedding day was the best day of my life and it’s because of so many factors but one being how beautiful I looked and felt. I hired 217 Beauty to do hair for myself and 5 other women for my wedding. Liz, the owner, was such a sweetheart and very professional in setting me up with Jessica. Jessica did an AMAZING job. She was downright phenomenal and such a joy to work with. All the ladies loved their hair (including me!) and I’m so thankful to have had such a talent as part of my wedding glam team. I would recommend 217 Beauty to not just my friends but everyone looking for great quality of service with their beauty needs. I first used 217 Beauty's services for my wedding and had such a great experience I now continue to use them for all my special events.

Quality of Service/Value: Liz did such an amazing job with my make-up during my wedding, which was a long day because I had 2 church ceremonies(Catholic & Orthodox) , bridal party pictures, plus the reception afterwards. And after all that and partying for hours, my make-up still lasted all day and at the same time felt natural.

Professionalism: I would rate 217 Beauty's professionalism with the highest rating, very friendly, personable and knew exactly the kind of look I wanted to capture for my special day. She also gives great suggestions if you prefer different types of looks, natural,smokey etc..which we experimented with during my trial. Liz made me and my bridal party look so amazing, my wedding pictures ended up on a number of bridal magazines and also in wedding photography books!!!

Responsive/ Flexibily: Very responsive and flexible with customers. Assures you are comfortable and satisfied at the same time!! 5 stars all the way!!!

Liz and her team did all the makeup for my bridesmaids (5) they all looked beautiful. Some of the girls also decided to get their hair styled as well. While all had different texture hair, the results were still stunning. I was very happy with the service provided by Liz.

Liz and her team are simply amazing! She's so professiona, punctual and amazing at what she does. She's also super clean and very knowslegable about a variety of products. She really knows how to capture one's individual beauty and let that shine, I did a trial, engagement shoot makeup and wedding day makeup with her. I loved it! My girls part of my bridal party loved it also. So many complimented saying it was the best makeup team they have had vendor any weddig they were a part of.
Liz is ali a beautiful individual full of life and simply a pleasure to work with :). I will def be using her again in the future, even if it's not my wedding :)

These ladies were amazing!!! They were so accommodating, allowing me to have my hair and makeup trial at 7pm on a weeknight so I didn't have to take time off work.

The day of the wedding, they did hair and makeup for myself, 6 bridesmaids, and both my and my fiance's mothers. They were at the venue about 15 minutes earlier than they said they would be, and got right to work.

Most of my girls weren't really sure what they wanted, and everyone was so great about picking a style and a look that worked for each individual. One of my bridesmaids even said she wished she could go back, and have that hairstyle at her own wedding. It felt like we were getting ready with our girlfriends the whole time, which made everything much more fun and comfortable.

And on top of everything, the prices were the best I found by far! No travel fees to come to the venue, and everyone looks fantastic!

Liz and team did hair, makeup, and saree draping for myself (bride) and 4 other women. Liz is so awesome! Not only is she amazing at doing makeup, she is friendly, funny, and a complete delight to have around on your wedding day. She also brought along Sheri; who did our hair (and we had women with very thick hair, to very fine hair) who did such a beautiful job, and Poonam; who draped sarees on for all of us. I showed pictures of what I wanted to look like, and Sheri and Liz made me look beautiful, but still like myself. I was dancing and sweating, but my makeup stayed perfect throughout the night, and not one strand was out of place. I wouldn't hesitate to book Liz again!

Liz was flexible and able to meet my scheduling needs for both my engagement shoot and wedding. She listened to the look I described and was able to recreate it flawlessly.
On my wedding day, I cut my finger while slicing bagels for my wedding party (don't ask). She was even prepared with bandaids! She stayed later to make sure I was comfortable on my day through all of the madness. I could not have had a better person.
Since the wedding, I have used her on another occasion for a friend's farewell dinner. Again, my makeup was amazing and I would not hesitate to use her again.

Professional team!

I hired 217 for my bridal party of about 10-12 ladies including MOB & MOG. The Team was on-time and proficient. My ladies were of various skin tones and hair textures, I was nervous about how things will turn out but the team did great! All my ladies looked fabulous! They were also able to create the hair styles I wanted for them. I would def hire 217. Liz also was very responsive throughout the time.

Hi ladies :) I only did hair services so I can't speak about the makeup services (which I'm sure it's amazing as well). I couldn't get Liz for makeup since my day was already booked but I'm so happy that I book my hair services with 217 Beauty! My hairstylist was Jess (she's the BEST).. she did services on 7 ladies in total. She was very prompt, organized and energetic! She did an amazing job with every hairstyle! I did an up-do.. it lasted the whole day and I felt so comfortable! I did a lot of dancing (salsa and latin music) and my hair always stayed in place. Besides Jess, Liz is awesome and super communicative. Overall I had the best experience with 217 Beauty!

Power Team!

I had the pleasure of working with Liz and her team for my wedding that took place on 9-25-2021. The prices are very reasonable and I couldn’t have been happier with the final result! Isabelle and Gaby were able to accommodate us very early in the morning at our venue. They were so patient with us, listened to our requests, and were easy to talk to and work with. I really appreciated that Gaby respected my wishes of light/natural make-up and offered helpful suggestions in terms of what would work for me. Isabelle was able to easily recreate the hair look I had in mind and worked with the hair accessory I brought. It was such a wonderful day and to be able to feel beautiful and confident made it all the more special. My family and I were so happy with our looks. Thank you 217 Beauty!

Liz did my make-up on my wedding day, as well as my mother's make-up, and the bridesmaids' make up. She was absolutely fantastic!The day of the wedding she came on time (4am!) and was amazing. She knew how important time was on your wedding day. She was so quick with everything. She did not give me a reason to stress. she responded to all my emails regarding the ideas and pictures I had in mind. She is professional but friendly at the same time. She was so welcoming to any ideas or suggestions I had. Liz made me feel completely comfortable and listened to all of my concerns.

The end result was exactly the look I was going for and I could not have been happier!

I would whole-heartily recommend her to anyone!

Working with 217 Beauty was fantastic! From the first meeting with Liz, to the makeup and hair artists that made the trek in the snow on the day of - everything was seamless and excellent!

I had my own makeup and hair done, along with my mother, mother in law and the majority of my 11 bridesmaids! Katlyn & Erika were our makeup artists and they did a great job of chatting with each girl to see how she wanted to be made up and then they made that happen! What I loved most is that they were able to work with each girl's personal style. Some wanted to be more dramatic than usual while others wanted a more understated look, and all were achieved. They definitely did not try to give each girl a one-size-fits-all look!

Jessica & Towana were our hair styles and they were just as excellent. Everyone was choosing their own hair styles, so Jessica and Towana had to make a lot of different looks happen, and they did so flawlessly! They were also great at giving us great ideas that we hadn't thought of!

My own hair and makeup were absolutely better than I had envisioned. My hair even stood up to my snowy photo session outside. Thank you to Liz, Katlyn, Jessica, Towana and Erika for making all of us look so beautiful! I can't recommend 217 Beauty highly enough!

Wedding Makeup!

I absolutely loved my wedding makeup! I don't tend to wear a lot of make up normally so I was nervous for my wedding because I didn't want to look too unnatural. Gabby did an amazing job! I wish she could do my makeup everyday! I wanted my eyes to pop but didn't want my face to look overly done and she nailed it. I would definitely recommend hiring them!

Liz and her team are the best! She will go above and beyond to make sure you like everything and feel beautiful on your wedding day! Everyone was extremely nice and professional. I had the airbrush makeup done and let me tell you, it was perfect! We had to be at the church by 3:30 with reception to follow at 7:00. Liz and her team were at my house by 8 a.m. and finished by noon. I was laughing, crying, dancing all day/night and when I woke up in the morning, my makeup still looked flawless - my fake eyelashes were even still on and intact! My hair was perfect as well! I had Liz order me extensions so that my hair would be nice and full on my wedding day and they are so worth it. I've worn them two times since my wedding and I love them! Everyone could not stop complimenting my hair and makeup. I've even referred her to some of my friends who are getting married as they all loved my makeup. I will definitely be using Liz for future events!!

Liz, Angela, and Sheri. These three ladies did a phenomenal job on me and my bridesmaids. Liz was a sweetheart and coordinating everything for me perfectly. I planned my wedding from San Diego to New Jersey and she really helped with my flight schedule. She had been a pleasure to work with and made sure everything was flawless. When I mention flawless a big shout out goes to Angela. She not only executed my dream hairstyle but was the calmest person throughout the entire process. Sheri was a diligent machine. And I mean that as the most amazing compliment. My girls' hair was so perfectly done and so quick that everything felt painless and smooth while getting ready. The entire team is highly recommended for any event especially for the most important day of a female's life. Our wedding was May 20 and they even traveled to our location. I feel so lucky to have been able to find them. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!

Wonderful hair and makeup

Liz and her team did the hair & makeup for myself (bride), my mother and my 8 bridesmaids. My makeup stayed flawless all day and night, I can't thank Liz enough for giving me the look I wanted without going overboard or requiring much touch ups for the reception. Angela put my hair in an updo for the morning ceremony and came back to put my hair down and re-curl/style for the reception. She did such a wonderful job with both!! My bridal crew and I are very happy with the team at 217 Beauty- they are great!

Amazing Experience!

I went with 217 Beauty for my hair and makeup for one of my wedding festivities and I was sooooooo happy with my decision! I loved the looks and love how hair/makeup came out for my sister, mom, sister in law and mother in law as well and they were so happy with the looks, too! They were recommended to me from a friend but they won me over at the trial… not only were they super good at what they did, but listened to what I wanted and helped me figure out what would be best for my looks. Also LOVED the vibe and good energy and definitely loved it even more the actual day of the wedding festivities! Hoping I get to work with them again for someone else’s wedding in the future!

Choosing Liz and 217 Beauty team for my wedding hair and makeup was the best decision of my entire wedding planning process! I was thoroughly happy with Liz (makeup) and Daleesa and Sheri (hair) on all the events of my wedding -- engagement shoot, sangeet/mehndi, and wedding and reception. Liz and her team were a JOY to have in the room helping me get ready, and really helped to keep me calm and happy, and feeling BEAUTIFUL. Plus, Liz was very responsive throughout the months before the events, and was really responsive, professional, and knowledgeable especially during the trial where we picked my hair & makeup looks. and on top of all that, the finished looks were amazing and flawless - i looked and felt gorgeous, and all our guests said the same. everyone commented on how stunning I looked! and that's exactly what you want in a hair and makeup team :)

Liz and her team were amazing to work with and they made sure our make-up and hair was exactly how we wanted it. I was anxious about time but Liz reassured me that with the number of make-up artists and hair stylists that we would have more than enough time to get everyone ready. She was also nice enough to add an extra person. They were on time on the day of the wedding and went straight to work on my 6 bridesmaids, my mom, aunt, flower girl, and myself. I felt absolutely stunning on my wedding day thanks to Shannon and Danielle who did my hair and makeup. Angela and Leilani were also their to help my bridesmaids and rest of my family get ready. Absolutely loved working with Liz!

These ladies are rock stars! Liz and her team are amazing at what they do. From the moment I met Liz at my trial, I knew that this was the crew to do hair and makeup for me and my girls. I was so excited that they were available for my wedding date. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to have the chance to have Liz do my makeup for my wedding day because she had just been put on bed rest before giving birth to her beautiful baby girl. Liz texted me right away to let me know that although she would be unavailable to be there for the event, she already had girls ready to go to cover for her. Working with Liz and her team at 217 Beauty was a great experience. Liz is incredibly professional and responsive. She worked through some scheduling difficulties to ensure that I had a great team that I was comfortable working with for my wedding day and I always felt certain that my bridesmaids and I would be in good hands day-of.

I could have not been happier! They are not just extremely nice and beautiful, but also very professional. You can tell when someone loves what they do.
Liz has been fantastic since the beginning, she was flexible with accommodating my bridesmaids and making everyone look just gorgeous! I would most definite keep Liz contact saved! And if anyone asks me, I most definite tell them about Liz.
Jessica was the one who helped with the hair, she was so great on doing a great job with everyone. Some of my bridesmaids were concern due to the fact they had little hair, but she was able to work around it and make everyone's updo work!

JUST had my wedding on Sunday (4.22.12) and I HAVE to say, it would NOT have been the same without 217 Beauty!!! They made me feel and look like a princess!!!

Their level of experience and expertise in making decisions for makeup and hair is TOP NOTCH! Especially considering that I am not one to wear makeup and do my hair on a daily basis. I was comfortable every step of the way, and always had my questions answered in record time (even if I sent an email in the middle of the night). I had my makeup trial done on the day of my bridal shower, and everyone loved it!!! In fact, my bridesmaids loved it so much that they wanted Liz to do their makeup as well as soon as they saw the work she did. We even made some changes for the day of, like adding in another bridesmaid at the last minute and Liz was MORE than accommodating to it. She did such an OUTSTANDING job that when we did the first look photos with my fiance, he cried! That says a lot!!!

Dalessa was fabulous when it came to hair, working at RECORD speed - one bride, 3 bridesmaids AND My mom in only 4 hours!!! And not a single hair fell out of place during the heavy rainstorm that we had that day either!

From traditional (trial) to airbrush (wedding day) You simply can not go wrong with 217 Beauty - Liz and her team are PHENOMENAL! If you want easy-going, friendly, professional service, this is DEFINITELY the girl you want to go!!!

Amazing!

I feel like I am writing a review for my best friend at this point, because that is essentially what Liz became throughout my entire wedding process. I was looking for someone to do Indian bridal makeup and was having a very difficult time until my friend told me I HAVE to go to Liz Gizelle. Well, all my fellow brides, if you're looking for a makeup artist, you HAVE to go to Liz Gizelle. There is no one better. I was nervous at first because I thought a non-Indian may not be able to do Indian faces that well, but boy did Liz prove me wrong. She has a true talent and she is a true artist with the makeup brush. She made me look like a QUEEN. She was with me all week as I had an American ceremony, an Indian Sangeet night, and a big fat Indian ceremony and reception. She was there from start to finish at 3 AM big freaking smile on her face! We had a group of 24 girls getting makeup, including myself, and Liz and her team KILLED IT! Everyone was ready and looking stunning by 745 AM. All of them were so sweet and accommodating. I don't think I can ever get my face touched by anyone but Liz ever again! She made me feel so calm and special throughout my entire wedding process. She would text and tell me that I better stop stressing about makeup schedules because this is the time to start getting excited and she will handle everything! She constantly reminded me that it was my day and made me feel calm, beautiful, and adored! If you have any doubt in your mind, set up a trial with her ASAP, but I only did a trial for one out of 4 looks and she killed it with every single one! People are still messaging me about how beautiful I looked! Thank you Liz for making me feel the most beautiful I have EVER felt in my life!!!

Liz and her team had done such amazing work with my cousin's and my sister's weddings, that when it was my turn to get married, she was the first person I reached out to see if she was available on my wedding day, and lucky for me, she was! Liz is honestly one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. There were so many times that I had to change things, and she never once complained, and always found a way to help me, which is something that I truly appreciate beyond words. Liz listened to exactly what I was looking for, and as I am someone who is not that comfortable with makeup, she offered her own recommendations. My makeup on the day of the wedding was flawless and I felt so beautiful! The makeup lasted the entire day and survived a night of dancing. Working with Liz from 217 Beauty was an experience that every bride should have. Liz's makeup work is amazing. I felt like a queen on my wedding day. I did a makeup trial a few weeks before my wedding and Liz nailed my vision in the first try. On my wedding day, I did a makeup change in between the ceremony and reception to complement my dresses. I did not have to change one thing for either makeup sessions. Liz made me look like perfection! Liz's greatest asset are the 3 P's: professional, punctual, and patient. She made me feel extremely comfortable and calm on the morning of my wedding, which is how every bride should feel. Gillian, my hair stylist, whom Liz works with was also outstanding. Gillian is an amazing, talented artist. My hair looked exactly how I wanted it to. Again, I changed my hair styles in between the wedding and reception and Gillian worked her magic and had my hair done perfectly within a short time frame. Best choice we ever made!

Liz and the 217 beauty team literally made my wedding makeup dreams come true. Liz is not only incredibly talented at what she does, she is funny, accommodating, and just an all around awesome woman (who happens to look like JLo's twin ;))
I had run into an issue with the initial makeup artist i had hired as they ghosted me 3 months before the wedding. I reached out to Liz and she got me in for a trial within a few days and we had signed the contract that very day! I was so impressed, and more than that, my MOTHER, who can be incredibly picky especially about her makeup, was blown away. Liz, we love you, thank you so very much for all you've done for us!!!

The least stressful part of my wedding planning & day

I had so much trouble finding make up and hair for my wedding day since I didn’t have a bridal party. Thankfully I found Liz! Liz and her team made for a super stress free morning for me, made me feel insanely beautiful and listened to requests I had as someone who doesn’t wear make up or get very fancy. I was looking for a makeup artist for my wedding and was referred to Liz Gizelle from my colleague and friend. Her services and professionalism far exceeded my expectations. She was flexible with scheduling my trial and was able to wait until I got out of work. Her studio where I had my makeup trial was very clean and organized. She was open to my ideas of what I wanted to have, and was able to do different looks that evening. I booked her makeup services for myself, bridal party and my mother. Her and her partner were on time in meeting us at the salon for makeup (at the crack of dawn) and did such a fabulous job! They are so friendly and down to earth, it was like a girls fun day out at the salon. That definitely put the bridal party at ease! My bridal party and I were so happy with the way our makeup turned out and we all agreed that it didn't feel like it was too much or too heavy. For my bridal party, they choose colors and shades to compliment everyone's skin tone and features (we are a mix of nationalities\backgrounds) - and they made their inner beauty shine for sure. Liz also drove down to the venue and stayed with me and my bridal party up until the ceremony. She was right there by my side the entire time and was so helpful and professional to me and my friends. She was there to fix my makeup when I saw my husband (we saw each other before the ceremony) and I really don't know what I would have done without her there. She really made the entire day so much easier for all of us! I have recommended her to my friends and would love to use her services in the future. If you are looking to have a stress free event, with professional services and a gorgeous look --- Liz Gizelle is the way to go.

Liz was the make-up artist for my sisters wedding last summer and I loved what she did with my make up that I booked her for my wedding immediately. She is great at what she does and very personable. I gave her pictures of what I wanted and she definitely used the pictures and listened to what I liked. She responds quickly to emails and calls and makes you at ease during trial, planning process and day of. All of my bridesmaids loved their results and really liked liz. My make up stayed on the whole night on a hot, humid and rainy day. I received so many compliments on my make up at my wedding and my pictures look great. I would completely, without hesitation book her for your wedding or event; she's amazing.

Love, Love, Love!

My BIL was getting married and I needed hair makeup on site for the events. I reached out to Liz based on a recommendation and I do not regret it all. I actually didn't even research anyone else because I loved talking to her and she seemed like the right fit for us! She worked with us through many changes due to COVID> She explained everything along the way and nothing was a surprise in terms of payment etc. The team was prompt to arrive and all of them were so good at their art. They listened to our needs and made sure they did makeup to match our south asian skin tones. One of us had a hair piece and they did great working with it and even made suggestions of additional hair pieces to use which was helpful. I cannot say enough good things about the team. Liz truly picked the best people to work for her and she is amazing at her art and running her company. Recommend to all brides!

Liz and Danielle did make-up and hair for myself, my sister and my mom for my brother's wedding on Nov. 17th. I cannot say enough how wonderful it was to know that we could take our time to set up at the venue, arrive at the hotel to shower and change and have a team waiting to make sure we left looking like Cinderella headed to the ball. These women were like my fairy godmothers that day. They were on time and very helpful with keeping us on schedule for the wedding. The proof is in the photos! Flawless faces and locks to be envied! I had very specific ideas, and Liz was able to achieve my vision exactly. My sister wasn't sure and Liz was able to create a look that went perfectly with her dress. My mom wanted very light make-up and her wishes were granted as well. Our hair lasted into the next day, even though we danced the entire night! Not only did they offer quality of service and professionalism, we were impressed with the overall value for the convenience of having the team travel to us. Liz is very flexible and accommodating. In addition, they were adept at calming nerves and keeping the conversation light. I will definitely use 217 Beauty by Liz Gizelle for future events! Brides, give her a call! You won't regret it.

Liz did such a wonderful job with my make-up, as well as my aunt and cousin's make-up. She was very professional and was on time and ready to go so that I did not have to stress out about anything else on my special day. Liz is so very talented and knows how to make everyone look their very best. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing their makeup done for a special occasion. Wonderful experience!!

I had the privilege of working with Liz for my wedding. Liz was so amazing to work with. I had a typical Indian wedding which starts very early in the morning. Liz came to the hotel at 3:20 AM sharp with a big smile on her face. She made me look and feel so beautiful! Even my wedding photographer was blown away with the makeup. He said he’s never seen eyes done like this before. I truly cannot stress how talented Liz is. She takes her time with doing your makeup. My mom doesn’t normally wear makeup and wasn’t really sure of how to get her makeup done, she made my mom feel so comfortable. The guests at the wedding couldn’t stop raving about how good the makeup came out! I will only ever hire Liz to do my makeup. If you want to look flawless and be stress free on your wedding day, hire Liz!! You won’t regret it!

A Unique and Personalized Experience

I have never been a fan to wear make up or do my hair too much. But for my wedding day, it was a given. They made the process so seamless and I felt extremely comfortable with the staff. If I had to do it all again, I would still choose them!

My wedding make up could not have been any more beautiful or stress-free! Liz did an amazing job on not only me but on everyone else who got their make up done! She was very knowledgeable and full of suggestions and listened to the requests of those who she was applying make up to! I could not have imagined a better out come for my beauty services on the day of my wedding! Liz, the owner, was fantastic to work with, super responsive, and very talented! She and Isabele did an amazing job with my makeup and hair, respectively, and my mom and my bridesmaids loved their makeup and hair, too. They are both also very kind and great to work with. Liz did a fantastic job with my makeup and achieved the natural look I was going for, and I loved my wedding hair! I had been a little worried since I decided to change my hair significantly from the trial, but Liz and Isabele really instilled confidence. I was super happy with the results! Amazing work!!

Liz was very friendly and quick to answer back all of my emails and work around my schedule to set up my trail. Danielle did my makeup for my bridal shower and my wedding and I recieved so many compliments, her work was flawless!! They also did everyone in my bridal parties makeup and they were all very happy. I was beyond happy with the quality of service I received and would definitely recommend and will definitely use their services again in the future!

Wedding Hair and Make-Up

Liz is so professional and talented! She has done my make-up for so many events including my bridal shower and various pre-wedding events. It always looks great and I always feel my best! She really knows how to work with darker skin colors, which is hard to find! Leilani also did my bridemaid’s hair for my wedding and they all looked so elegant. Liz and her team are always reliable!

Liz is Amazing!

Liz and her team did an absolute phenomenal job for hair and makeup on my wedding date 8/17/23! Liz is an absolute sweetheart to work with, and made me feel so comfortable from even the first time I contacted her over two years ago. She made me feel like family and her talent is impeccable! I’ve never felt more beautiful than on my wedding day and it’s all thanks to Liz. Shout out to the rest of her team who helped on my actual wedding day: Leliani, Gabby & Jasmine- thank you girls so much for creating the most beautiful hair styles & makeup for myself, my bridal party and the Moms ❤️. Our makeup stayed in place for the whole day (and there were so much tears!) and the hair styles were absolutely beautiful! Liz is the best!!! I had such a hard time finding someone for hair and makeup so I turned to friends for recommendations. Liz was recommended to me by 2 other people (who didn't even know each other) and they weren't kidding when they said she was fantastic. She and Jess (the hairstylist she works with) made me feel like my best friend was doing my make-up and hair, not only the day of the wedding but at the trail too. All my bridesmaids, flower girl, mother, and myself looked gorgeous the day of the wedding!

Liz did an amazing job on the day of my wedding. Despite that it was the hottest day of the year, my makeup looked great the whole time. I wouldn't change anything Liz did for me or my bridal party. Amazing hair and make up!

Leilani and the team did an amazing job. They arrived right on time, even considering the 2:30am start time, and did an excellent job. They were very professional and the price for the quality that you get was great! I highly recommend them. I used them for my personal bridal hair and make up as well as hair and make up for all 9 bridesmaids and for my mom. Everyone was happy with the results! Thanks 217 Beauty Team!

Liz did an amazing job for my wedding! I had many requests which she fulfilled without a problem. Guests were asking all night who did my make up as they wanted to use her services in the future. Professional, Reliable & Fun

Liz and the team were a great choice for my wedding day! I worked with Liz for my makeup and Jessica for my hair. They were so welcoming and kind. Liz was very responsive and very easy to work with. I looked into many MUA's for my wedding (tons!!) but they were all so overpriced so I appreciate that Liz understood that and tried her best to accommodate me and my bridal party. They kept to the schedule on the day of even with different things thrown their way last minute. They made me and my bridal party feel at ease that morning and that was very important to me. Overall, they made us look amazing and I would definitely recommend Liz and the team to any bride looking for an affordable yet amazing MUA.

I had the pleasure of working with Liz and her team for my wedding on August 2nd. She was recommended by two of my co-workers, who also used 217 beauty for their weddings, and it was definitely the best decision I made! The way Liz did my makeup was amazing and I am still receiving compliments on how great it looked! She was very flexible and was able to squeeze in my grandma as well, which was last minute. My grandma doesn’t wear makeup very often and she made her look stunning! Also, my mother’s makeup was amazing too! She really outdid herself.
I also had to book hair stylists last minute (2 weeks before my wedding) and I called Liz to see if she had anyone available and she was able to accommodate me! This was definitely a HUGE stress relief and I can’t thank her enough.
Lastly, the prices for her services are VERY reasonable. I will certainly be using Liz for any future events and I highly recommend her and her team to you all!!!

Liz did an amazing job with make up at my twin sister's wedding, and there was no one else I would have wanted to work with at my own wedding. She is very professional and really understood the type of look I was going for. My skin was glowing and she made me look flawless. My eyelashes and the blend of colors she chose to use on my eyes were just right. Liz also did the make up for my bridal party, mom and mother-in-law, and the colors she used matched each of the girls' complections perfectly! Everyone looked fantastic and felt beautiful thanks to Liz. We had a beach wedding in the Caribbean and our reception was outside on the beach (Yes, she even traveled to the Caribbean!). During the reception it rained for about 10 minutes, and surpisingly our make up lasted through the rain and all throughout the night. Liz was there for any necessary touch ups, but I hardly needed it. I have received so many compliments on the make up for my wedding, and I will definitely recommend Liz any time I have a chance. She is so nice and fun to work with. I could not be happier with my experience and loved having her be a part of my big day!

Liz was my makeup artist and Jess my hair stylist for myself and bridal party on my wedding day. even from the hair and makeup trials, they were both friendly, and accomodating.
They showed up a few minutes early on the day of, and really took the time to make sure every one felt beautiful. my mom and my mother in law were both hesitant to get their makeup done, but LOVED the results. my hair and makeup were flawless. prices are great too!

Liz was so much fun to work with and so comfortable to talk and voice my opinion - never once did I feel like anything was out of my control! She knew exactly the kind of look I was looking for with my bridesmaids and their hair was absolutely on point! My mother and mother-in-law loved that she heard out their concerns and how they given the coverage needed and not going over the top! She had come on time and worked on everyone with the needed efficiency to make sure everything ran smoothly and on time! I wish I could have an event a few times a month to have do my makeup and hair often!
