We had the immense pleasure of having Ben Clapp as our wedding DJ, and it's hard to express just how fantastic he was.

From the very start, Ben was a true professional. He took the time to understand our music preferences and the atmosphere we wanted for our wedding. The result was a night filled with the perfect tunes that kept the dance floor alive and our guests entertained.

Awesome DJ!!!

From start to finish, Ben was professional and accommodating. He made the process super easy and made sure everything turned out the way we wanted. Our guests were on the dance floor all night long which I think is a testimony to his DJ skills! He read the vibe of the room very well and kept the people dancing all night! I would highly recommend him!!! His perfect reviews don’t lie!

Side note- I was supposed to do a speech for my mom during dinner but I was too nervous but Ben took over and said nice words to everyone on my behalf which is one of the many reasons his services went above and beyond!

Ben Took Our Wedding Over the Top

Hire Ben, hire Ben, hire Ben. It'll be the best wedding planning decision you'll make. He was FANTASTIC. He was so easy to work with from the very beginning. He was familiar with our venue and had logistics and back up plans at the ready. He knew how best to emcee and move through different parts of our night. He kept the event flowing smoothly and the vibes on point. And when I tell you our dance floor was packed from start to finish I mean it. I have never seen energy like that, and it was all thanks to Ben! He was able to weave in our recommended songs, edit other songs for certain parts of the ceremony/reception, and then kept the dance floor full of energy. We could not have had a better night without him, he really made it extra special. Hire Ben and then relax knowing that that wedding decision is made and you're in good hands. We highly recommend him and would happily hire him again!

Amazing Wedding DJ!

We hired DJ 2 Clapps for our wedding on September 23rd in York, Maine, and he was absolutely amazing! We had a wide variety of age groups at our wedding and Ben was able to keep everyone dancing all night long.

He played a great mix of music that everyone could enjoy, and he was always happy to take requests. He was also very professional and easy to work with.

* He was very responsive to our requests and was always willing to go the extra mile.
* He effortlessly gauged the mood and energy of the guests, seamlessly transitioning between genres to keep everyone happy.

Amazing DJ and would highly recommend!!

We were so glad that we worked with Ben on our wedding night! He understood our vibe and our music selection / requests. Outstanding

Ben was absolutely outstanding! We could not have asked for a better DJ and are so thrilled we trusted him with our big day! He was professional, thoughtful and kept our guests on the dance floor all night! He was extremely helpful leading up to the wedding- spending a lot of time discussing with us our music tastes, song ideas and helping with the outline for the day. The day of he kept things flowing politely so we were able to relax while staying on track with our schedule. His attention to detail was amazing! We were taking our couple photos a short walk away and he came over to offer to bring us a beverage which is just one example of his thoughtfulness and how wonderful he was. He went so far above and beyond and we are so grateful to have hired him! I cannot say high enough praise for him!

Attention to Detail

Ben was fantastic, we couldn’t have asked for a better DJ! The attention to details and staying on the plan was incredibly helpful to let us enjoy our wedding. Ben was incredibly helpful all night keeping the flow moving and more importantly keeping the music and dancing going! He stayed off the mic unless needed and continued to deliver song after song with exactly what we wanted. The wedding was absolutely perfect and it all starts with a good DJ! I can’t say enough about his professionalism and thoughtfulness, you will be very happy if you hire DJ 2 Clapps! 5 Stars across the board!

Outstanding!

Ben was everything we wanted in a DJ/emcee and more! He was personable and professional. He took the time to have several calls with us beforehand to get to know us and our music tastes (which are all over the map) and helped us focus in on our musical vibe for the ceremony, cocktail, dinner and the dance floor. He helped us out a LOT with the overall schedule and flow of our reception, he worked closely with our day-of planner to make sure everything went off without a hitch, and seamlessly adapted to last minute changes. It was perfect. He customized our processional song to make time for all of the bridesmaids to get down the isle and you wouldn’t even know the intro was looped. He really went out of his way for us. We gave him some playlists for a general vibe and trusted him to run with it, and start to finish the tunes were spot on! Our dance floor was packed! I’m not exaggerating when I say the entire room was singing and dancing all night. And our after-party was “Lit!” as the kids say. We had a blast!
We are so happy we had him there on the most important day of our lives. Ben is an absolute stand-up guy, and you can’t go wrong hiring him as a DJ for your wedding or any other event!

Awesome DJ!

We hired Ben to be our DJ after having a bad experience with a different DJ. We’re so glad that we did! He kept the dance floor going all night long, and our guests raved about the songs that were played. He was also very kind and professional. My husband and I highly recommend him!

The Professional DJ you need to hire!

If you found this review….. HIRE BEN CLAPP!!!!!!!!

We found Ben after reading the reviews on wedding wire and after having Ben DJ he lived up to literally all the hype around him. First and foremost planning a wedding can be pretty daunting at times. The two big vendors we had the most concerns about was the photographer and DJ. We all have heard the horror stories or experienced the DJ who wants to be the comedian, never gets off the mic or the one who may or may not show up at all. We felt the DJ was so important as they really have a big influence on the overall wedding, so we looked at reviews pretty hard. Pretty quickly we found Ben.

As soon as we reached out and had our initial call with Ben it was clear he was the guy. He is excited and passionate about what he does and does it in the most respectful manner. He can be as involved or not as involved as you want. My wife had a completed playlist before we even called and he was more than open to using it. He can also make a full playlist for you as well. He managed the timing of every detail and transition throughout the whole day flawlessly.

About a month before he sets up a final call to really go over everything. I mean everything. He walks you through all his thoughts on song transitions and timing to keep everything on track. His attention to detail is honestly something to be admired.

On the actual wedding day he set up in multiple locations on the property with top of the line equipment. I remember seeing him during my actual ceremony and waving to him with a big smile like I was greeting an old friend because that’s just who Ben is.

The ceremony and reception we all perfect. He made sure to have lists of all the important names at the wedding and clarified anything he had questions about. He kept everything fun and truly knows how to read a room.

Packed dance floor the entire night!

Ben was the perfect DJ for our big day! Ben was a referral from our wedding photographer, Breonna Wells; he came to us highly recommended. We hired Ben at the start of the pandemic and he let us pay in small increments over a period of time, which was easier on our wallets during those unprecedented times. We worked with Ben in the final month leading up to our wedding to develop our playlist and “run of show”. He did a great job guiding us through the day - ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and reception. Together, we chose music for each portion of the day and he made sure everything flowed smoothly. He made announcements throughout the night where appropriate and took the time to learn how to pronounce our wedding party’s names correctly (something important to us). The most important thing: the dance floor was packed all night!!! We didn’t allow guests to request songs at our reception, and he held firm to this which my fiancé and I appreciated. I would highly recommend Ben as a wedding DJ!

DJ 2 Clapps for the win!

I don’t know where to even begin with all the good things I have to say about Ben. My husband and I got married during a global pandemic. Through date changes, venue changes, and major changes days before the wedding... Ben helped and was there sorting things out to make things seamless day of.

He was hands down the most helpful person I worked with. He helped make an agenda so everyone was on the same page. He was able make sure the wedding flowed seamlessly, from introductions, to announcing our dances (we had to do two first dances and he even made that work!).

If I had to hire a Dj again for any event, I would hire Ben in a heartbeat.

Nailed the playlist!

Ben did an amazing job at our September wedding. The dance floor was packed the entire night with many guests saying "the hits just kept coming!" Great transitions

We were looking at multiple DJs for our wedding in Southern NH, and Ben was the only DJ that had examples of transitions from song to song on his website. The BEST wedding DJ! My friend had hired Ben for her wedding and I thought he was great so we hired him and...he was great! We were not very traditional and a bit picky, and Ben accommodated our requests. More than once people told me they loved the music throughout cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. We also very much appreciated Ben's intuition on fading in/out the music for our first dance and helping out with scheduling the entire evening. He is super organized and just a really nice guy to work with! Will recommend to everyone and anyone.

Ben is awesome and so nice! He did such a great job and iam super satisfied with my decision to have him as our dj at my wedding. He communicated very well at the wedding making sure everything was on track and checking in to let us know it was time for the bouquet toss or cake cutting. From the first planning meeting through the final song at our wedding, our experience with Ben was phenomenal. He was a big part of helping make sure our day went EXACTLY as planned. The custom planning template he provided was extremely helpful not only in putting together our playlists and requests but for planning out the timeline for the entire day that we gave to all our other vendors. He was responsive throughout the planning process, listened carefully to our requests, and offered advice without ever being pushy. The day of our wedding, he was there early and met with our first time officiant to make sure she was comfortable with the mic setup and completed sound check for both the tent and ceremony location well before any guests arrived. Throughout the rest of the day he checked in well in advance to remind us when the next event was coming up and was flexible about adjusting as needed. We had picked the majority of the music for the dancing portion of the evening and he honored our selections and do not play requests. He did a great job reading the crowd and keeping everyone dancing all night. We even ended up adding extra time at the end of the night. Multiple guests commented on how great he was. 100% would recommend.

We couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our wedding. He read the crowd for the wedding and played the hits throughout the night. His knowledge of music and timing are top notch, from ceremony through dinner and well into the night. I would definitely recommend 2 Clapps!

STOP YOUR SEARCH! You have found your DJ!

We reached out to several DJs and bands to find someone we thought would be a good choice. From the jump Ben was friendly, helpful, polite, and thorough. He was well organized and really helped us along in our planning. The only thing that would have been better would be if we could have had him as a guest at the wedding instead of a vendor.

He quietly let us know when we were getting off of our schedule and gave us the option to wing it or stick to what we had planned. He played all of the songs we requested and what he filled the rest of the night with was perfect. We have had multiple guests ask for the playlist. More than a handful of guests have told us with all seriousness that ours was the best wedding they had ever been to. He did not showboat and make the event about him, but did show personality on the mic when it called for it. This guy was awesome!

Ben provided multiple setups and rolled with the punches when we were trying to decide at the last minute if we could have our ceremony outdoors (we did) and he was beyond helpful throughout the entire process.

We wish that we could work with Ben on all aspects of our life. If you ever become a realtor, Ben, let us know!

OMG! Ben was the absolute best! Being from Maine, Ben wasn't our first choice because we didn't know about him! I'm thanking my lucky stars that the DJ's we KNEW and wanted to book were already taken for our big day. I learned of Ben when he volunteered his time and services at Swing for CF, a charity golf event put on and run by my sister to support the Cystic Fibrosis Community. I mean come on people, that's an automatic gold star right there!! Ben absolutely killed it with his professionalism and attention to detail. He followed through with everything we talked about just weeks before the wedding. He was prepared for anything...even the 20 minutes of rain showers!! His prices are fair and competitive! If you have the chance to book him, DO IT or you might miss out! He truly knows how to read a crowd and keep the party going! Out of all of my vendors, Ben got the most compliments from all of the party goers!!

Ben was amazing! From the very beginning, he worked with us to build our playlist and provided sample playlists to help us select songs. We chose two songs for our first dance and he was able to put them together seamlessly. The best (and unexpected) part was how Ben MC'd the whole night so smoothly. As marketed, he was not over the top and loud; he was but was able to get in all our songs, feel the crowd out, keep the party going, and effortlessly help with our reception transitions (e.g., table photo shots, cake cutting, toasts). Our wedding was the best day of our lives, and in part, due to Ben's awesome efforts. Loved that we we went with 2ClappsDJ. Totally reasonably priced for the high-quality service. Would HIGHLY recommend!

Ben we perfect in every way. We had a very specific vision for exactly how we wanted our entertainment to play out at our wedding and he nailed every aspect and exceeded our expectations. Not only did he deliver on what he promised but he added personal touches that were amazing. Throughout the night, we were approached by SO many of our guests specifically to tell us that our DJ was amazing. Aside from the music and his delivery on aspects such as intro's or lead in to specific dances, Ben's a great guy. 2 Clapps DJ Service is the best DJ service ever! Ben is incredible and gave us exactly what we wanted. My husband and I actually got to witness Ben in action at a friend's wedding and when we got engaged later that year, I knew 100% that I needed him at my wedding. He kept the crowd dancing and knew exactly the type of music we wanted to hear based on our "Must Play List". Ben's pre-wedding paperwork/discussions are very thorough and shows how dedicated he is to making sure everything runs smoothly. He was a big help in making sure the wedding day events (ceremony and reception) went well, which was a huge relief for me. My husband and I were so happy with everything, as well as the guests. I did not expect so many people to come up to me and ask who our DJ was - hopefully someone books him for a party that my husband and I are invited to so that we can enjoy his services again!

Ben went above and beyond what we had hoped for. He was very easy to get a hold of and came to our house to meet and discus the wedding layout. Ben was awesome! He did both our ceremony music as well as the reception. For the ceremony he was able to play a variety of songs including bag pipe and instrumental versions of traditional songs. For the reception he kept the party going even after an emergency situation that occurred. He checked in with me and my husband several times to make sure we were doing okay and to see how he should proceed with the schedule that we had made prior to the event. His flexibility in this unforeseen circumstance was not only professional but incredibly helpful. He even made a last minute request by my husband work using a cell phone rather than his usual set up! We would highly recommend Ben for anyone looking for a good quality and personable DJ for their event! He was reasonably priced and worth every penny!

2Clapps DJ Service exceeded our expectations for our wedding! We had a small wedding with 46 guests so we were worried there might not be a lot of dancing. Luckily, we were very wrong! Ben knew exactly what to play to get everyone up on their feet. The transition between songs was seamless and song after song was simply the perfect choice! We felt confident with Ben from the moment we met him and even more so when he shared with us his DJ song document. On the document we filled out exactly what special songs we wanted for things such as the ceremony and any “do not play” and “must play” songs for the reception. It was all very organized! His prices are affordable and a true steal for the service he provides. Included in his pricing were dance floor lights which really added to the experience. Ben was unbelievable! He was so thorough through the wedding planning process that my day ran seemlessly - largely because of him. Ben was the DJ for our wedding and we could not recommend him highly enough! He was the perfect balance of running the show and adding order to the reception without being right in the middle of the reception. He also was able to provide many great recommendations to us when we were not sure on songs, and was so accommodating with any request! I'm the father of the groom, and have to say that I couldn't be more impressed with Ben. Everything went off without a hitch, from setup to ceremony on through to being flexible about extending the party an extra 1/2 hour. The dance floor was packed from hora to the end of the night. I was a little taken aback when yacht rock was playing before the guests were due to arrive until I saw the groomsmen yucking it up, it was at their request.

Ben Clapp was a fantastic DJ for both our ceremony and our reception. We could not have imagined a more responsive, articulate, and professional person to DJ and be a part of our wedding. His thorough planning made us feel totally comfortable that the wedding would go smoothly, and it did!! For the ceremony, he played the music exactly how we wanted. He also provided the sound equipment without a blink of the eye - a request we made at the last minute. Throughout the night, his announcements were well timed an unobtrusive. Ben also worked wonderfully with the staff at our venue. The moment the dancing started, Ben kept a wide range of people with various music tastes on the dance floor, flawlessly transitioning from one song to the next. His pacing and rhythm throughout the night was perfect. He was able to read the audience, and his music choices were excellent. One of our mothers specifically commented that she was unable to hear any downtime between songs and plans to recommend Ben to everyone. We were sad for the night to end and could not recommend Ben more highly.

We hired Ben Clapp for our wedding on 10/17/15 and I cannot recommend him highly enough! From our first conversation through our event, he was easy to connect with, truly listened to our requests, and maintained the highest level of professionalism. Ben was able to create an amazing soundtrack to our wedding - from the cocktail hour, through toasts and dinner, to the dancing. We had a fabulous time! Ben was even willing to bring equipment for us to use during our ceremony, which ended up being extremely helpful. We selected Ben for our September 2015 wedding because he had music tastes very similar to ours (alternative indie) and he is very affordable. He has a very laid back style which seemed to suite ours. We were so glad we went with Ben.

Communication and flexibility leading up to the wedding was perfect. Ben sent us a worksheet with timelines as well as suggestions for songs if we were stumped/didn't care.

The day of, Ben was spectacular. He played songs which we love but were never mentioned previously, he came up to us several times throughout the night to adjust the schedule based on the photographers needs, and threw his song selections, actually created the most memorable part of the reception for us. The music was a very stressful part of our wedding planning process, simply because we are picky, and Ben absolutely nailed it! Thank you so much Ben!

We are so happy that Ben DJ'ed our wedding reception! He was all the things that you want in a vendor—friendly, professional, responsive, knowledgeable...however what set him apart from all the rest of the other DJs we found was his approach, and his willingness and ability to work with us to give us exactly what we were looking for.

When we first started searching for a DJ, I remember going to a big DJ company's website, and watching all these video clips that seemed be selling some kind of over-the-top, cheesy, DJ show. And then we found Ben, who was such a breath of fresh air!

Ben worked with us to craft our introduction and first dances, and was able to make good suggestions on songs and timing. He catered to specific requests, but also after we had established the overall feel we were going for he was able to take the reigns and just do an amazing job.

At the reception he was classy, on-target and nimble—with introductions and directing speeches, making announcements, selecting the music—all while keeping the focus on us and our guests.

No cheesy DJ show here—rather an unforgettable wedding reception.

If you are looking for a laid back, super friendly, and awesome DJ for your wedding....definitely go with Ben with 2 Clapps DJ Service! We found him by searching for DJ's in our area and my husband and I wanted someone more private and not from a huge company. Ben was amazing to work with! He met with us a couple times to go over our interests and our wedding and he was nothing but professional and accommodating with anything we wanted. He was open to all the music we wanted and if he didn't have a certain song, he was able to get it! Ben was very responsive, thoughtful and flexible. He made easy work of my extensive request list and was very professional. Ben DJ'd our wedding on 10/10/15. First off we should say that out of every vendor we dealt with in the planning process, Ben was BY FAR the best. He is competent, kind, efficient, personable... we could go on forever.

He is very prompt with his responses in the planning process, and kept our wedding organized and on time. Guests were dancing the ENTIRE time. He played an awesome blend of new and old. Ben was also the only vendor we dealt with that we can honestly say was completely stress free. Even though we had only met Ben once, the music was not something we worried about, you can just tell he has everything under control.

We got a ton of compliments from guests, and had some guests asking for his information so they could utilize his service in the future.

We can not recommend him highly enough. Worth every penny!

Ben Clapp DJed our wedding on 6/7/15. He was amazing!!! Knew from talking to him on the phone he would be a great fit! He was very easy to get ahold of and asked lots of questions to get an idea of our music likes and dislikes. He was so professional and organized! We had a great meeting a month leading up to the wedding where we were able to plan out the entire reception. He did an amazing job at our wedding reception. Our reception space was a little unique compared to most reception halls but he handled it like a pro! He discussed speaker placement and layout of the venue with the reception coordinator and the lighting and sound quality was awesome! We are so glad that we chose Ben to DJ our wedding! He was very responsive, easy to work with and best of all not cheesy in any way! When we were looking for a DJ we wanted someone that was going to be organized, play great music, keep the dance floor going but also be low key. Ben manged to meet ALL of our needs. Our dance floor was full the entire night, he arrived way before we requested to make sure all of his equipment was set up and in case we needed extra help for ceremony sound, he dressed professionally and most importantly played great music incorporating our requests with the rest of the playlist he customized based off of our likes and dislikes. Ben was THE BEST DJ EVER!!! He was well-organized, adaptable, professional and accommodating. Setting up his equipment in multiple locations was a huge plus as it allowed us to use all of the spaces at our wedding venue (Laudholm Farm, Wells ME) that we wanted and he made it happen for us. We were beyond happy with his services and highly recommend him if you're looking to throw a fun, seamless and memorable event. We interviewed a number of DJs, and Ben was the only one who we got real, thoughtful answers from. He was willing to share his own personality and musical interests with us (something which we found a lot of DJs unwilling to do) and he was also willing to take a lot of direction from us. We had some very particular ideas about the music and the flow of the whole day, and Ben could not have been more accommodating. He was extremely positive, thoughtful, and responsive throughout the process. He seemed to genuinely love his work.

Ben took care of the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception - all on the same property, but some distance away from each other. He managed the music and equipment in all 3 locations and transitioned between them seamlessly.

Additionally he provided a video projection, support for multiple performances, and mics for speeches and singers. He totally got our vision, and also understood the crowd and kept people dancing all night. He was prepared for everything.

Awesome to work with - I cannot recommend him more.

Ben was the best! He played the music we asked for and had the perfect mix to keep everyone on the dance floor dancing! He even pulled songs from his repertoire we didn't even think of and they were a HUGE hit! If you are having an event in NH you NEED to get Ben as your DJ.

I would definitely recommend 2 Clapps DJ for any event. Ben did an amazing job with our wedding. He was extremely professional and had everything under control. He did a great job setting up multiple locations and dealing with our guests last minute song requests. My wife and I couldn't be happier with the flow of the day and how Ben kept the mood upbeat just like we wanted. He had everyone up and dancing before long which was perfect. We are still hearing about how great the wedding was and I know that his music had a large impact on that. I want to thank Ben again for all his help and the great job that he did!

For our wedding we decided to have a local bluegrass band for cocktail hour and dinner, and Ben was very flexible in agreeing to DJ for the last three hours of the reception. It worked out perfectly! He even communicated directly with the band to figure out a smooth transition. We were initially hesitant about having a DJ at all - due to the nightmares you hear about cheesy music and over-the-top announcing, etc. - but it was classy, professional and fun. (Not to mention there were gummy bears on the DJ table which pleased many of our guests...)

Ben was great to work with throughout our wedding planning process and DJed an epic dance party on the day of our wedding. We looked at other vendors who wanted to up-sell us on lots of additional services (e.g. Uplighting, dance floor lights etc) but with 2 Clapps we were able to balance our limited budget with our desire to have a talented DJ. Having a DJ that can read the dance floor and provide a good mix of songs and the right mood is really key to a great wedding in my opinion and Ben absolutely met our expectations on that front. We got a lot of compliments on the great music and we would 100% recommend!

Ben was incredible to work with and my favorite vendor. The process could not have been easier or the end result more perfect. Ben's DJ services are such an incredible value and you get AMAZING quality! He was so flexible with meeting me, customized the music and schedule to exactly how I wanted it, and responded to my millions of e-mails right away so that I was fully confident in what was going on the whole time! The preparation was awesome and the night went off without a hitch, just how I imagined!

I can't say enough positive things about Ben. He is a consummate professional, exceedingly nice, highly flexible/adaptable, and most importantly, is great at the DJ booth. He charges a fraction of most wedding DJs and is just as good -- if not better -- than them all. He made us feel very comfortable and was open to whatever we wanted to do. We could either choose every single song for the entire night, he could take care of everything, or we could meet in the middle. He provided many options and was OK with a few last-minute changes we requested. There is NO REASON not to use Ben for New England weddings. He is fantastic! Run, don't walk, to book him today.

Ben Clapp was an amazing DJ and we were very happy with his work. My husband and I were not exactly timely in our replies to his inquiries, yet he was incredibly patient and flexible. We were also vague in what we wanted since we don't know too much about music, but he was able to throw an excellent party despite our ambiguity. We had an outdoor ceremony and reception and he did the music for both parts with two different setups. He acted as the emcee for the reception and did a great job facilitating the flow of the event. The music he chose got people of all ages on the dance floor and truly engaged them. After our wedding, many guests commented on his professionalism and talent. We would definitely recommend him for your event.

We hired Ben to DJ our wedding after a family member recommended him.

Firstly, Ben was REALLY professional during the planning process. We had 2-3 calls beforehand to discuss both logistics and music preferences. I went into the wedding knowing we didn't have to worry about our DJ ... always a good thing.

The day of the wedding went extremely smoothly. Ben had two separate speakers set-ups (cocktail hour was about 200 feet away from the reception) and this was a last minute request that he fulfilled without hesitation and without us being around to direct him.

My big pet-peeve is music being TOO loud during dinner and Ben played the appropriate volume and appropriate genre (Sinatra, etc.)

The dance floor opened up and everything was perfect. Ben had a really good idea of what music to play and meshed songs together really nicely. He took requests but knew not to stray from the flow of the evening.

At the end of the night we kept Ben for an extra hour or so and he was fine with it. He knew not to end the night abruptly and was flexible enough to see the party through to its end.

Overall: great experience.

We researched DJ’s for our destination wedding in Maine and realized early on it would be a challenge. We knew we wanted a DJ with familiarity with indie rock, which would serve as the soundtrack to our specific wedding.

We were so fortunate to come across DJ Ben Clapp of 2 Clapps DJ. From the very first e-mail exchange, we knew we were on the right track as Ben was responsive, professional, and just an overall standup person. He understood our needs and assured us he could meet our expectations.

He did basic MC duties typical of a wedding. We sent him examples of our preferred playlist: Postal Service, Ratatat, Hot Chip, etc. He was incredible in deciphering the overall mood of the crowd and talented in mixing. He got the non-dancing side of the family, dancin'!

We were specific about our preferred music but we are confidant that DJ Clapp is the type of person who can seamlessly adapt and work with you in any genre. His rates are reasonable.

We cannot recommend 2 Clapps DJ Services, LLC highly enough - our upmost compliments and gratitude.

Ben came recommended to me by a friend & I could not be more thankful! He was very easy going & easy to work with, listened to exactly everything I needed/was concerned about as far as music selection, & put on a great night! I have been to multiple weddings with tacky DJs who spend way too much time talking & cracking jokes, Ben was very professional & provided a great music selection & made all the announcements I needed. Lisa and Ben are the best! Forget the standard (terrible) wedding DJ playlist, or someone who simply sits behind the table and looks like they'd rather be reading a magazine. Lisa and Ben have an awesome energy that really helped keep the party going. They had a great instinct for the types of songs that appealed best to our crowd!

2Clapps DJ made our wedding fun. Ben and Lisa helped us conceptualize what the reception would look like and were very patient with our indecisiveness. They were flexible with a complicated set-up and a request for them to help with our ceremony musician's sound. At the wedding itself, they were remarkable. Guests kept approaching us to ask for the song list. I have never before seen a wedding where guests wanted to get up to dance while they were waiting for their food to come (and didn't want to sit down again when it arrived). Ben was sure to check with us to make sure that this was ok with us and that we didn't want them to slow it down, which was very considerate (everyone was having so much fun, we just kept it going!) I really hadn't thought that our wedding would be one where people were out on the dancefloor nonstop, but thanks to 2Clapps DJ, it was!

Ben DJ'ed our wedding in August at Loon Mountain. He was very responsive and professional throughout the whole process. We worked with Ben on the phone to create a playlist and he was able to make changes on the fly during the reception. We would highly recommend him!

We are so pleased with the experience we had with Ben Clapps. He was incredibly accommodating to us as we planned our wedding from halfway across the world. He was extremely flexible and organised in adapting to the logistics of our venue sight which was outdoors and split across two properties. The music was great and the dance floor filled all night. My wedding planner recommended Ben from 2 Clapps DJ Service for our wedding that took place in September and we are SO glad she pointed us to his direction! Long story short... Ben.Was.AWESOME.

Working with Ben was easy and painless. He was responsive to our emails and also efficient by sending music forms to keep the day organized. He worked really well with our planner and everything went smooth day of.

What we were most impressed with was the fact that my two sisters (co-maid of honors) reached out to Ben without us knowing. He worked with them for months to create a mashup-music speech that we still can't stop talking about. It was incredible and something that my sisters could have not done without him. He also showed his incredible DJ skills throughout the night, taking requests and playing both oldies and the new ones for everyone at our wedding. His songs were up-to-date and he made everyone happy!! Oh, and he is also incredibly nice too and really funny and easy going, and he was a HIT with the crowd!

In the end... use DJ Clapps. He is awesome.

We used 2 Clapps DJ Service for our recent wedding. Ben was very helpful and professional from the first time I talked to him to the night of the event. My wedding was in Massachusetts and I live in NJ, and Ben made the planning process very easy by being readily available by phone and email. He was also flexible about meeting in person when I was in the area. His prices are extremely competitive with other DJ's in the area. Ben played most of the songs that we requested but was also able to read the crowd and play the songs that kept everyone on the dance floor. He was also super helpful in making sure that everything happened on time during the reception (cake cutting, bouquet toss, etc). I would definitely recommend him to anyone!

Ben DJ'd for our wedding on August 2, 2013, and was wonderful,he played the music that got everyone up and dancing. My husband and I and our guests had a great time dancing! I only got compliments from our guests about Ben. I would totally recommend his DJ services for any wedding.
Throughout the entire process Ben was quick to respond and flexible, even up to moments before and during the reception. He was also very helpful in providing information about how the reception would go and helped me to figure out what kind of atmosphere I wanted for my reception as a whole and also for the different parts of the reception.

My husband and I booked Ben after a long search for a DJ, and it was the best decision we made! After several interviews with other DJs that didn't go so well we were apprehensive, and Ben put the two of us at ease. He was amazing to work with throughout the planning process, and was extremely helpful in answering not only my questions but also calming any nerves I had about the ceremony/reception. We had a smaller wedding, and Ben did a great job of facilitating the entire event and making things run smoothly from start to finish. He did a great job of responding to requests from guests and our guests had nothing but positive things to say about him! We both highly recommend Ben to anyone in the New England area as a DJ for your wedding!
