When to Go

The perfect weather of July and August make it busy in Saint-Tropez with lots of traffic, expensive hotel rooms and crowded beaches but it’s also the time to mingle with the jet set and when the village really comes alive. September hosts the impressively glitzy, yacht racing regatta and still has reasonably mild weather whilst October offers great fashion deals with the famous sale La Grande Braderie. The winter months see changeable weather and many bars and restaurants may be closed but it also offers good hotel deals and the chance to experience Saint-Tropez with the locals. Spring can be a good compromise of warmer weather, lower hotel prices and less crowds particularly in May and June.
