Great space on Lake Washington. Gorgeous boat deck makes you feel like you are literally on the lake. Wonderful space inside for dinner and another side for dance. If the weather is good dance outside. As a wedding DJ I love thins space for a party. We had our wedding on the Virginia V last weekend and it was amazing. Captain Dale is a charming, funny and professional host and officiant. And the ship is so beautiful that once were toured it, we knew immediately that it was the place. On the day of, there was a delay in getting the boiler up to speed (the ship is nearly 100 years old!), but Captain Dale took care of coordinating with the caterers and keeping us informed. He kept everything going smoothly and it turned out to be great to have that extra time on the Virginia V to socialize with friends and family before the cruise. Captain Dale performed the wedding service (we chose the less religious of his two ceremonies), and it was beautiful. He coordinated with the photographers to get the best shots and capture the moment. He was great with my husband's family and nieces who were the flower girls. He also took charge in helping to set up a sparkler send-off on the dock. The Virginia V Foundation had a list of recommended caterers (working on the ship has its unique challenges for a caterer); we selected Herban Feast and their food was spectacular, and their service was flawless (even with the last-minute schedule changes!). All the crew were friendly and helpful, explaining the ship and assisting wherever possible, even taking a few photos for us. It was a great day, a beautiful wedding, and a wonderful cruise - the perfect way to show off Seattle's charms. Many guests said it was the best wedding they'd ever been to. Could not ask for more!

We recently had our wedding reception at Foss Waterway Seaport in May of 2024. Amber was amazing to work with throughout the whole process and answered all of our questions. The venue is so beautiful with all the windows, and we loved the outside area that you could also rent for a small fee so that guests can go out there and enjoy the views! We could not be happier with where we had our reception!

We recently got married on the Lady Mary with a guestlist of about 60 people. The boat was the perfect place to get married and then party after. The Argosy staff, especially the venue coordinator Justin, was helpful in the lead-up to our wedding and worked with us to get the boat set up the way we wanted it for our ceremony and reception. The staff on the boat was great during our wedding and Captain Tony gave us a smooth ride through Lake Union and Lake Washington. Being on a boat provided such beautiful and unique views for our wedding, and we heard positive feedback from all guests regarding the venue itself and the staff. Overall, the Argosy crew brought the vision of our boat wedding to life!

Katrina at Everett yacht club was so easy to work with and very responsive. She made everything so pleasant and was very accommodating. Sadly we had to cancel our wedding reception due to the coronavirus situation and we were offered our full refund! I couldn’t be happier with her service.

Waterways has been wonderful to work with. They are always quick to get back to me with any answers to questions. They have been well organized. The staff is always helpful and friendly. I am looking forward to our wedding on the Emerald Star.

My daughter and son-in-law's wedding on the Shadow, one of the CDA cruise boats, in July, 2024 couldn't have found a more perfect setting. The approved vendor list was incredibly helpful; the florist, bakery, photographer, DJ, and wedding planner we hired were all from that list and were exceptional. Their collective experience with CDA cruise weddings was invaluable in planning this event. The ceremony on the top deck was breathtaking, set against the backdrop of the lake's green hills. The canopy, equipped with misters, protected our guests from the unusual 105-degree heat. The white fans provided at each seat were a thoughtful touch and much appreciated. The bar service was excellent, keeping everyone hydrated, and the food was exceptional. It was fresh, inventive, and catered to all tastes, presented beautifully. The CDA staff was accommodating, professional, and friendly. I cannot express enough how amazing this venue was, and our 35 guests concurred, declaring it one of the best weddings they had ever attended. A heartfelt thank you! Sue, Mother of the Bride
