Woods Chapel is a beautiful venue. The Wedding Coordinator really knows her stuff and kept us on track to start and finish on time. Although the venue can seat up to 300, it feels cozy and warm. We had a great experience with the Woods Chapel and have nothing but good memories of our wedding day there.

If you're wanting to get married in Stillwater you cannot go wrong with Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Bayport! Just barely a 5 minute drive straight to Stillwater it was the perfect location for our ceremony. On top of a wonderful location the staff was amazing to work with, very flexible and understanding. The price is what sold us, very affordable compared to others in the area! We were even able to set up on Friday night at our rehearsal and saved so much time/stress on the actual wedding day! The church itself if gorgeous with beautiful stained glass windows and a huge organ. We opted to have a friend play a CD to save money (their sound system was easy to use and sounded great!) but they do have a pianist you can work with! Couldn't have been more happy.

Wonderful place

We had our wedding in December and it was absolutely lovely. Working with Pastor Jim was fantastic and we were thrilled to have found a church that was not only beautiful, but also aligned with our values. Everyone is welcome at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer and they pride themselves in inclusivity and progressiveness. The church itself is straight out of a storybook, with beautiful dark wooden beams and a large, ornate organ. The outside looked like a castle and had striking red doors (perfect for a photo op.)! They have their own parking lot that was onsite and free. They don't do a whole lot of weddings, which made ours feel very special. There was only one thing that this church didn't offer that I wish it did, was someone onsite that was running things the day-of. For instance, making sure we are lining up on-time, telling bridesmaids/groomsmen when to walk, etc. But a day-of coordinator would help with that as well, so just make sure you have someone designated to take on those tasks! I wish I could tell everyone about this venue as it really is a hidden gem!

This is such a beautiful church! Recently built, this church is bright and does not have that too-modern feel. The office workers are wonderful and shared ideas with me for my wedding. The church also has a reception hall on the main floor that seats up to 200 and overlooks a pond (I have seen swans swimming in this pond!). It is a steal for a venue as it will only cost about $200 total to have my ceremony and reception here. Due to being a church, there is minor inflexibility about some things (such as no wine bottles on the tables, but you can serve wine!).

I highly recommend Pastor Reuhlow and Our Savior's Church for a wedding. The sanctuary is gorgeous and not much needs to be done for decorations to make it look amazing. Pastor Keith is wonderful to work with. We met with him before the ceremony 3 times for marriage counseling which was very helpful and to plan the wedding. He is very comfortable to work with and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

This was our wedding venue. They worked with everything we needed. The church seats about 200 people. we also had the reception there, very small casual setting. It fit our budget and our officiant is the pastor there. Everything worked perfect.

This is the church my family belongs to - but they were excellent to work with and very flexible. My great uncle did the actual ceremony - though not from that church.
