Wedding Cakes in Nantucket

We had our rehearsal dinner in the outside patio here. We planned everything via email and it was really easy. The setting was beautiful and the food was delicious. There's a good selection of wines to choose from and they were flexible with how we wanted to limit the menu for our guests. The only thing that wasn't 100% perfect was the timing. We had 3 tables and one of them didn't get dessert until everyone was done and some people had started leaving so 4 or 5 didn't get to enjoy the amazing mint chocolate ice cream sandwiches. That could easily be remedied and I would have spoken up if I'd realized. Our friends and family thought we picked an amazing restaurant and everyone really enjoyed their meals.

I didn't want the typical frilly wedding cake. I dislike fondant, and have been to so many weddings where the cake is tasteless and dry. Wicked Island Bakery solved my search. They created a "naked" wedding cake for us. A delicious blueberry lemon cake with Italian citrus cream filling, no icing on the outside. It was both beautiful and yummy. Christine was wonderful to work with. They decorated the cake with my flowers, on-site, the presentation was impressive. Notable enough to post on their facebook page. Hands down, the most delicious wedding cake I've ever had. Thank you Wicked Island Bakery! I highly recommend this vendor for wedding cakes on Nantucket.

When I broke my wrist prior to my son’s wedding we were at a loss of what to do. We were recommended to Nantucket Bake shop by many people and they did not disappoint! Kerry was friendly, professional and flexible to accommodate our last minute needs. She created an amazing and tasty cake, my son & daughter in law were so impressed. We would highly recommend them to anyone!! P.S. their donuts are also amazing!! Thanks again! The Sobota Family !
