Wedding Videography in Oakland

Wow! We are so glad we used Martin Films to document our wedding. At first, we weren't considering having a videographer, but I am SO GLAD WE DID. The feeling that is captured through movement, and music, is so touching - I have cried numerous times watching - the best tears of joy taking me back to such a wonderful day. We had some stressful situations getting ready that were outside of our control - Martin was very professional and helped keep the vibe calm. I was nervous because I thought a camera up in my area would be really distracting, but I literally did not even notice he was there most of the time. He gave direction as needed for some of our posed shots, 100% recommend.

Matt was awesome! He was very quick at responding to my many e-mails and very professional. We really love our wedding video, and can't stop watching it! He had great shots of all the little details and the music for our highlight film and wedding film were perfect. We're definitely happy that we picked De Novo Studio to capture all those special moments.

The video Lang Video Art produced of my daughter's wedding is fabulous! The video included footage from two hours before the ceremony, the ceremony and the entire reception. Robert Lang and his assistant were unobtrusive, yet at the same time beautifully captured all the meaningful moments. The resulting video included photos and perfectly incorporated the music my daughter and now son-in-law selected. I am so glad we chose Lang Video Art!

Our wedding was this past Saturday and we hired Awkward Turtle Media to cover the videography portion of the wedding. We looked around at a few different videographers, but the Awkward team's portfolio was by far the most impressive and the cost was very reasonable. We absolutely made the right choice! These guys are highly skilled with a keen eye for amazing shots! We had 4 videographers working that day: Andy, Jason, David and Jordan. Each individual was constantly busy throughout the 9-10 hour day. They requested that we provide them with a couple slow songs and upbeat songs ahead of time so that they can visualize and set the pace of the video. I love the fact that we are able to use our own songs as it makes the video much more personal. Having 4 videographers, they were able to shoot both the guys and girls getting ready at the same time. The team is very knowledgeable and knew what shots would look good, so they simply just gave us instructions as to what to do, which made it much easier on us. Our wedding was a haunted themed wedding and they put together a Freddy Krueger countdown to start off our video, which we absolutely LOVED. We surprised my wife with a Same Day Edit video presentation and my wife got so excited seeing the countdown (link to the video below). Andy slaved a good 8 hours during the wedding putting together the amazing same day edit video. I wanted to incorporate a little bit of my car in the video and they knew exactly what angles and shots to take. My wife didn't care much when I told her I wanted the car in the video initially, but when she saw the car in the video, she actually liked it because the Awkward crew shot it so well! Hands down, I had such a great experience with this team and would definitely recommend them! I'm already thinking of what future events I can hire them for as they are super cool guys and would LOVE to work with them again!

We hired Augusto for just one hour to capture our ceremony at SF City Hall so we could have it to look back on and share with family who couldn’t be there and he truly went above and beyond our expectations!! Not only did he beautifully capture our ceremony, but he also took the time to film additional B-roll moments that made everything feel even more complete and special. On top of that, he put together a stunning sneak peek video that perfectly captured the emotion and energy of the day. We’re so grateful to have these memories preserved in such a thoughtful and meaningful way. It’s something we will truly cherish forever, and we couldn’t recommend him more.

Jen and Bryce were wonderful to work with. I had an awful experience with my hired videographer for my wedding that led to my only receiving 50% of the raw footage. Jen and Bryce were able to turn that into 2 beautiful videos that showcased all the key elements of our wedding and the excitement and happiness of the day. Throughout our time working together, both Jen and Bryce were very responsive, willing to explain their process, and open to feedback. I highly recommend using them for your videography needs

Alex and Kat were the videographers for our wedding in June 2021, and we truly couldn’t be happier with the quality of our ~4 minute highlight video!! They were lovely to work with, price was very reasonable, and the video turned out beautiful! We’ll def revisit these memories on our anniversaries! We were on the fence about having a videographer (with all of the expenses of a wedding!), and we’re so happy we decided to have Alex and Kat!
