Hello! Thanks for your interest in Grit City DJs! We're Brett and Paige, the co-owners of Grit City DJs. I have DJed extensively throughout Montana and worked with hundreds of people to make their event a success.

Grit City DJs is not your typical entertainment DJ and MC. Serving Tacoma, Seattle, Olympia and the South Puget Sound region, we have specialized in providing exceptionally personalized event DJ and MC services since 2008. Previously, Grit City DJs was located in Missoula, Montana, and was known as "Zootown DJ." We have DJed hundreds of weddings, proms, birthdays, graduation parties, and charity events. Grit City DJs has the experience, equipment, and expertise that you can trust. By providing exceptional service and paying close attention to the details, Grit City DJs guarantees your expectations in an entertainer and MC will be exceeded.

We believe in a few core values which have carried us throughout our lives:

1. Communication. We strongly feel that being available to talk and maintaining a clear line of communication will make your wedding or party a relaxing, seamless event. We are available by phone or email every day all of the time.

2. Trust and Honesty. These two qualities are essential to our success as a business and as people. Without them, we are nothing. With them, we can do anything. Also, we prefer to sleep easy at night. Integrity is more important to us than anything else.

3. Value. Many businesses provide a service based on a "perceived" value. We believe a good DJ does not need to be greedy to be successful. We charge a flat rate for our services which reflects the cost of our time, equipment, and experience. These prices are readily available on our website. Very few other DJ service will provide you with their prices upfront.

4. Social Service. We believe that we are all capable of good deeds. Zootown DJ is no exception. We offset all of our driving emissions and power consumption by purchasing carbon offsets through CarbonFund.org. Also, we provide greatly reduced rates for charities and non-profits. In the last few years, Grit City DJs has donated or offered reduced rates to The Girls' Way, The Ronald McDonald House, The Women's Resource Center, and many more. Grit City DJs also works to be environmentally responsible in every way, and this year purchased trees to offset 17.1 tons of greenhouse gases produced during the 2015 wedding season.
