After nearly 6 years in the planning, the Windsor Heights Community and Events Center opened in July of 2010. This signature facility can seat up to 200 people and be split into two different sized rooms, depending on your special event needs.
Since opening, the facility has hosted wedding receptions, birthday parties, corporate retreats and trainings and countless other events, including the First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama. The center has received amazingly positive reviews from citizens and renters who have had the opportunity to experience the facility since it opened. Colby Park also features a performance pavilion (pictured below), which is also available for rent, tennis courts, playground, open green space and a dog park just south of I-235 along the trail. A beautiful center with 2 kitchens! We used one for hot foods and one for beverages and cupcakes. The chairs were very comfortable and the tables were perfect. There is plenty of parking and a ramp to the center for wheelchairs or carts. The bathrooms were very well maintained and very clean. I would definitely rent this venue again for any type of get-together.

Extremely flexible and beautiful venue! This location was perfect for us. Luckily, we had the perfect weather and used the outdoor pavilion for our ceremony (we did have to rent outdoor chairs for ceremony, though) and center for reception. Absolutely gorgeous. The hall was nice and air conditioned, updated with technology, two kitchens (one we used as our open bar) and clean restrooms. Has the option of having a cleaning crew come in at the end of the evening and clean the floors/set the tables and chairs back they way they were. Well worth the extra money to have this done and not worry about it!!!! The manager is easy to talk to and gets right back to you. She was great. Did not have anything bad to say about this venue! Worth every penny!

The WHCC provided a beautiful backdrop for our reception, which meant there wasn't a need to use dramatic centerpieces. It's a beautiful facility in a great location. The staff was great to work with. They were very accommodating to our requests. I would recommend this venue for any event!
