I love this Nature Center. There are amazing views and areas to take amazing photos too.

We held our reception of 120 here in early November. I didn't want those cliché wedding halls that MADE buy their catering as well. I had a coordinator that did it all (food, linens, waiting staff, flowers, lighting, etc.). They provided her a great sized hall with kitchen, bathroom, outside and inside space for cocktail hr and ample parking. Very nice customer service accommodated us with the tables, chairs, etc. They accommodated my decoration requests (Ceiling drapery and extra lighting) as well. Be it a state park that kids frequent, your vendors (ie caterers, photographers, and videographers) have to submit their info for a background check in order to be in their approved vendor list- which was a surprising but I understood their reasoning. There is a short trek to lake in the back that is great for wedding pics at sunset. One downside for reception in November is the "no-see-um" bugs that ate us alive! Luckily once everyone was inside the hall after cocktail hr, we had no problem with those pesky things. All in all, a great experience with a great price. I would rent this hall again.

This place was beautiful. The staff was very helpful and we did an outside ceremony, inside reception. The only set back was that all our vendors have to be on their approved list and there is a fee for the vendors to be on the list. We had to pay this fee for 2 vendors. Besides that the place was great.

Plenty of parking

Cons:
Only 80 chairs provided for outside ceremony
Limited to beer and wine
Must use vendors from approved list
Bugs are an issue around dusk

This is a very nice place to have a wedding reception - a beautiful setting that doesn't totally break the bank like some of the hotels on the beach.
