Umberto Fabris is a distinguished Mexican couple dance instructor, author, researcher, and columnist. Renowned for his expertise in teaching social couple dance, he is the pioneering mind behind the innovative concept of "WEDDING DANCE MEXICO" / "El Baile de tu Boda".

With a career spanning over 33 years, Umberto has conducted dance courses and workshops across Mexico, various cities in the United States, South America, and Europe. He has garnered accolades in international dance competitions, consistently securing top honors. Presently, he dedicates himself entirely to the art of teaching and researching dance and body movement, continually refining and enhancing his unique teaching methodology. Additionally, he maintains an avid interest in exploring subjects related to couple dynamics and shared learning experiences.

Umberto's academic background includes professional studies, and he previously thrived in the corporate realm, excelling in personnel training and coaching. He developed and delivered courses focused on personal skills development during this significant phase of his career.

At Wedding Dance Mexico has three different types of courses, always based on private classes, with their own methodology and high quality teaching.

  • A "one three hour course" that includes how to dance your wedding song in a surprising and natural way.
  • "A five hour course" that includes advice to choose the song that best suits your style and the moment, as well as correct teaching of steps, technique and style to perform your wedding dance.
  • "A teen hour course" that includes your choreography, practice with your father/mother and social dance where you will learn the rules, steps, style and technique to dance latin rhythms such as: salsa, cumbia, merengue, bachata among others.

During his career of more than 33 years, Umberto has taken and taught courses and workshops for Wedding Dance Choreography and Social Dance in places such as Chicago, Boston, Washington D.C., Buenos Aires, Arg. and Havana, Cuba. "El Maestro" has participated in international Ballroom competitions, always achieving first places. Currently he is 100% dedicated to teaching and researching couples dancing, improving and perfecting his own method of teaching dance and body control.
