Looking for a fun venue in Park City that is affordable was tough, but we found it at Wasatch Brew Pub. It is the sister to my favorite SLC pub, Squatters, and they had a beautiful loft space that was perfect for the karaoke reception we wanted to host. They allowed us provided us a space early in the day to brunch and put together favors and sent us with some trays of food to take to the church and allowed it to be billed in our minimum for the reception. They were accommodating to our karaoke DJ, had both in and outside spaces, and the bartenders made me a custom drink called "The Bride" in a martini glass that made me feel super classy all night. Dinner was set out in the back room, but no announcement was made when it was ready, so that was unfortunate, but the food was good and so were the appetizers. I had requested through my coordinator that we have 2 signature drinks and all beer, but there was no signage for the drinks. I just wish I had known to do this. Also, the coordinator told me that we had the place until 1 and I was surprised when they did last call at a quarter to 11. But that wasn't a huge deal. It was fun and beautiful and I couldn't have been happier about how the party went. They allowed us to keep our stuff there overnight and their staff cleaned it up for us all.

The next day was a little disappointing. We came to get our stuff and we had found that the wedding cake leftovers were demolished and stuffed into to-go boxes so our anniversary cake looks like it was hit by a train. Also, the leftover favor bags, which had small bottles of booze in them, had been ransacked and the alcohol was removed from them. In addition, we had gone over our deposit by $50 and we tried to pay for this with our debit card and the entirety of the bill was run on it out of our bank account. Nightmare! But they were flexible and accommodating and it really was a lot of fun.
