We only used their catering services, but they were really amazing! The wedding coordinator, Jodi was such a wonderful person and she was very open and patient with us. I loved the free tasting, it gave my husband and I a good idea of what Chef Rick is capable of, and we were absolutely charmed by the chef. He is very open to new culinary challenges and is definitely passionate about his job. Thank you!

Beautiful venue, the most perfect service from Jodi, the executive chef, and staff, delicious food for our rehearsal dinner--couldn't have been better! Would rate 6/5 if I could.

They were excellent! Jodi was so sweet and helped out so much. The staff was professional and wonderful. The food was amazing and the view was perfect! They even helped deal with some issues with guests at the reception. The price is awesome too!

We can't say enough good things about Chef Rick and Jodi. The venue is wonderful and has a spectacular view of the water, but it was the two of them that made us choose Walden for our wedding reception. They could not be sweeter people that truly catered to making our special day everything we envisioned. The food was delicious and they were so flexible in allowing us to design our own menu and even have our dog present since he was part of the ceremony. Jodi even helped me set up the tables and made it to where I could enjoy the wedding as opposed to worrying about the details. We can't wait to go back for dinner!

Walden is a beautiful, lakeside location and it is so underrated. The pricing is so reasonable for that is included. For the ceremony, very little decoration is even necessary because the views of the lake are STUNNING. We got married in April on the most perfect day, it could not have been any more beautiful. The reception room was just the right size for our wedding (we had 90 guests) but I know that it would fit more. They also have another room for daytime weddings that holds more guests.

The true shining star was Jodi, the event coordinator at Walden. She is incredible! So helpful, the sweetest lady I have ever met and even arrived early on the day of the wedding to powerwash the gazebo herself. That's dedication! I met with plenty of other venues and most of the coordinators were friendly, some were just plain rude, but none were as amazing as Jodi. She seemed to truly care that my wedding was absolutely perfect and exactly what I wanted - and it wouldn't have been without her.

Jodi, at Walden Yacht Club, was personable and friendly. Both families greatly appreciated Jodi for her work in helping us keep within our budget but still provide a wonderful evening for our small wedding ceremony.

My husband and I wanted to get married somewhere on Lake Conroe and hadn't considered Walden Yacht Club at first but when we went out there we changed our mind. They recently did a remodel on the Yacht Club and it is beautiful. Not to mention the wedding coordinator they had out there was an absolute joy to work with. She was thorough and attentive and very accomadating and easy to work with. The food they served for my rehearsal dinner and at the reception was awesome! Many people commented on how good it was! Compared to other venues it is priced more than reasonable and I was pleased with everything about the place.

This place went above and beyond for their professional service to our wedding! The staff is extremely professional which is great! The Yacht Club was a beautiful, extravagant place to hold our wedding and everything came out so perfect. The food is fantastic as well! Everyone loved the food here, and this was our second time eating here (my parents' third time eating here) and the food is always TOP NOTCH! I am so thrilled we had our wedding here!

The best part about this place was the food. The food was THE best! We paid $30 a head for the food. Not too pricey. With the gazebo, dance floor, operations charge, bartender, 4 hours reception time, for about $5,500. It was the wedding of our dreams. The coordinator always got back to me right away, they folded all the napkins just how I wanted them. Their tvs weren't functioning properly, and we had to take down all the decorations@ midnight when we were done. I really didn't need that stress at that moment, but it passed.
