View Arts Center is located in the beautiful Adirondacks at Old Forge, New York, and is a year-round choice for those seeking an elegant wedding venue. It's a setting for all seasons and occasions, from rehearsal dinners to wedding receptions.

This venue features multiple event locations, from Gould Hall to a few art galleries to the courtyard and also some of the classrooms. Dream wedding come true !

We got married this past October and it was everything I had ever dreamed off. From day one, Connie and her staff assisted us with everything, offered great advice, responded quickly, and did everything they could to make our wedding go smoothly. They worked with us during COVID and were flexible and understanding when certain situations came about. The facility is absolutely gorgeous on top of the great service! Highly recommend if you want the Adirondack wedding of your dreams!

Summer Wedding

Our wedding reception in June 2017 was everything we ever imagined. The staff at View made it all possible. Our wedding is still talked about and everyone wishes we could do it all over again. I can't thank the staff and Jimmy from Feathers and Boughs enough :)

The View set the stage for the overall INCREDIBLE experience that our wedding was. Aesthetically, the building and setting could not be more picturesque. Professionally, Hannah and the rest of the staff could not be easier to work with. I had a lot of ideas, and lot of questions, and a LOT of decor and they could not have been more pleasant and accommodating throughout the entire process. If you are seeking a beautiful space for your wedding vision to come to life, View is the ultimate venue in the Adirondacks!

We hosted our son's wedding ceremony and reception at the View this September 2017 and the Event and service we received far exceeded our expectations in every way! The View itself is a beautiful venue, rustic yet very elegant, and Hannah Wheaton and her staff were excellent, very professional and attentive to every detail, from handling all the setup/teardown details as well as keeping the timeline for the whole event running smoothly all day. We cannot think of a better place to host a special celebration! Thank you View for making our event the most memorable ever!

We had our 40th wedding anniversary party here using both Gould Hall and the courtyard. It was a beautiful day so we were able to have our appetizer table outside in the courtyard. Gould Hall was definitely large enough for our 90 guests!
Michael's Fine Food & Spirits prepared a fabulous meal for us! Hannah at View worked well with both us & Michael's. We'd definitely would recommend View for a party that you're hosting!

Two years in a row I have held an event for 200 people at View. Both times the experience was wonderful; elegant surroundings, expert staff and impeccable service. We opted to erect a tent in the courtyard for our lunch. It provided a beautiful space to move between indoors and out no matter what the weather. I can also highly recommend catering by Patrick O'Connor & "A Moveable Feast." The food and service was perfect. We truly had two highly successful and hard-to-beat events at View. Annette Craig

After a few stumbling blocks at our original venue, my husband and I switched our reception to View Arts in Old Forge, NY. Jim Connerty, the events coordinator, is nothing short of amazing. He is kind, relaxed and most importantly: accommodating. We toured the venue with him and explained our vision for the reception, what kind of lighting we wanted, where we wanted our guests to mingle, how we wanted the venue to look and feel and the overall mood of the evening. Jim's standard answer? No problem! Prior to working for View, Jim had coordinated weddings for years at North Woods Inn, also in Old Forge, so we knew we were in good hands. Jim had a hands-off approach when you wanted to do your own thing, and a hands-on approach when you needed his assistance, wisdom and input. View is a spectacular reception, and we had total access to the galleries, Gould Hall, the parking lot and the back courtyard. Everything was executed magnificently, due in no small part to Jim. He makes the wedding process look easy! If you want a gorgeous venue and invaluable input, View is the place to be!

The View was a fantastic setting for my Adirondack wedding. The entire building is absolutely gorgeous, and the events staff is even better. They helped us through the entire process of planning our wedding reception there, and were there for any issues we had with the building that night.
