My family & I hired Unbridled Soul via a friend’s recommendation, and they could not have been more right! This band nailed it! From the very beginning of the process to the very end (post-event) Unbridled Soul delivered on every single thing that we requested and more. We had so much fun! They were way above all expectations, true PROS!

During the hiring process, we called, emailed, texted, and ZOOMed. DD (our POC) was fantastic. She had all of the info we needed, got it to our family promptly, was gracious and very considerate. She made it easy for us to voice all of our expectations, wants, special requests, and more. She made everything fit into our schedule; nothing seemed inconvenient or mundane; everything seemed important. We had over 350 attendees and they all loved the reception.

Special NOTE: To my Son-in-Law’s credit, he wrote an “original song” that he wanted to use for the Bride and Groom’s first dance. He mentioned, that they took the song and made it better than what he had anticipated, liking their version better than his own. They surprised all of us, they answered an encore and played well past the contracted time, the Director performed an on-the-spot personal request of “On In a Million” (I thought it would stump them), the band (per our request) came out and danced with us during their brief intermissions (very personable), and broke some tension, saving the day when they turned the grandparents unexpectedly long toast into a contra-dance. BRAVO! And I would like to add a special shout-out to the Steel Guitar player! I could not believe my ears, unreal. They included a surprise (at no cost) to us, with some add-on illumination for the reception that was totally unexpected, but really enhanced the atmosphere & dance floor area for the event.

The US music selection was super cool. Everyone loved the combination of Country and Soul music was very refreshing and original. We had no idea about their “LIVE” performance energy and how infectious it was. It became easy to see that they love what they were doing and it felt like we were on the stage with them (some of us literally were - LOL). Everyone wanted to bring them back for another city event (festival). Side NOTE: We included the Brass Section in the package and it was not a mistake. Seeing all of those people on the stage performing together was a real treat, and the horns made everything bigger and brighter.

I would say that this would rate as a 5/5-STARS for me. Others expressed it as a 10/5-STARS for our selection of this band. They were also party hosts. They kept the room going, moving, energetic, and warm. They were very personable. We found ourselves in a unique position, some guests wanted more Country music, and others wanted more Soul music. So it became a request tug-of-war and it was so much fun, we were all trying to get our requests in first – LOL!

As the bride's grandfather, I sponsored the wedding, so I am reviewing it ;-) I am in my 80s; still an executive in business, and very active in my outdoor activities.

My granddaughter showed me the Unbridled Soul online profile. It was fine, but I wanted to have a conversation with them. After speaking with Donny & DD; everything was simplified, seeming like we were already on the same page. They were so prepared and took a lot of the worry and stress from my granddaughter's mind. That's what I was looking for! The choice for us was their 5-Star package with several add-on services.

This group completely caught me off guard! They played music from so many eras (Swing, Swing-Jazz, Latin, Blues, Big Band, Rock, Motown, Country, Soul, plus cultural and traditional songs; they pleased my wife & new in-laws with their versions of Hava Nagila & L’chaim and for me some Salsa (the montuno made me feel like I was back home in Nuyorica). Horn section: highly recommended.

Among the several extras, we chose: The ceremony: Processional music; excellent! Cocktail music; nailed it! Emcee (reception wedding party arrival announcements); on-point! Special requested (Father-Daughter, Mother-Son, and First Dance) songs: emotional! The reception was lively, spirited, and diverse. Our families and guests were dancing throughout the evening. NOTE: if you wanted to sit down for a moment, their energetic performance gave everyone plenty to watch as well. We also chose the DJ option for in-between the band sets, a superb option!

I do not know what others look for, but this group is well-seasoned, professional, kind, and pursues client satisfaction. They even threw in a couple of small complimentary lighting upgrades to polish everything up. I am recommending this group to my son's company for their holiday party. To my country club for events, and to anyone who wants their money's worth! Hire them.
