Located in Truchas, New Mexico, Truchas Peaks Place is a park and outdoor wedding, retreats, and events venue. Established in 2008 in the foothills of the Sangre de Christo range of the Rockies, this inviting retreat is surrounded by incredible natural beauty while featuring luxurious amenities and accommodations. A couple can truly make this the setting for a truly remarkable wedding celebration.
Facilities and Capacity
The Truchas Peaks Place property has three buildings. The namesake structure is the main building, with stunning views from the wraparound porches and cooking facilities in the gourmet kitchen. At 12,000 square feet, there is ample room for festivities, and with 10 bedrooms, there is space for up to 44 to sleep overnight. This building also includes a dining room furnished in a traditional style and a gorgeous library with 10,000 volumes. The Opus House has several fireplaces and radiant floor heating for all-year coziness for up to eight guests across five bedrooms. The tranquil Casita has two bedrooms for up to four guests. Any of these spaces can be booked by itself or in conjunction with the others to best suit varying sizes of wedding parties. Bookings can encompass the entire premises.
Services Offered
Truchas Peaks Place is available for day-use only, partial use, and on-site accommodation, with additional accommodation in local bed and breakfasts. This venue's staff will work with a couple to meet their needs, including creating a custom package for specific requirements. The staff can also recommend local caterers and restaurants to provide wedding dining.

Magical wedding weekend for family and friends
Perfect Venue for our Out of State Crowd!
TPP was exactly what we wanted for our wedding event. We booked the main house and the Opus house, which provided us and our guests gorgeous mountain views from wrap-around balconies, a full lawn to set up yard games and a drive-in movie screen, and a beautiful library with sliding ladders. With TPP being so affordable, we were able to book the property for 4 nights and accommodate almost all of our guests. Instead of a "wedding day", we had a "wedding week" with the people we love the most and created memories that will last forever. TPP was the perfect venue for us, and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!
Would additionally recommend the site coordinator, Ashley, who is very easy to work with and incredibly knowledgeable about TPP. You can tell she works really hard to make every wedding special and cares about every group that comes through. Thanks, Ashley!
