The cake was great and beautiful. I actually only got a chance to try the piece we cut, but thought it was very good. Our guests complimented on all the great flavor options we had and how delicious it was.

If you have ever had Trefzgers, you know it’ll be amazing. As a bride, before I could even think about going to get a cupcake, there were literally just a handful left. By the time we had brunch the next day, all of our cupcakes (I bought enough for each person and then some) and our three tier cake were gone. Everyone raved how amazing it all was.

We have a somewhat unique request in that we want a “donut cake” for our breakfast reception. Trefzger’s owner, Martha, was responsive, helpful, and even had pics of previous similar cakes she had done. We met with her at the bakery and sampled delicious cake flavors for the small top cake. We are excited to book this local treasure!

Trefzger’s made our wedding cake, and we could not be more pleased! We both grew up in Peoria, so we knew we wanted Trefzger’s for our wedding, but we could not have imagined how great they would be! We met twice with Martha and talked to her several times on the phone, and she was SO helpful and so sweet! She even made a custom cake flavor for us, because we really wanted champagne cake with a strawberry jam filling. She made a sample for us to try, and it was AMAZING!! We ended up doing a small cake in the champagne & strawberry flavor, as well as 2 other cakes with different flavors and fillings, as well as a groom’s cake, and there were maybe 3 slices of cake left total at the end of the night—people LOVED all the flavors, which were all delicious, and we’re still getting compliments on the cake! Martha and her team delivered the cake to our Princeton, IL venue the day before the wedding so our florist could decorate it, and they worked so well with our venue and coordinator to make sure everything was ready to go! We’re so happy we could have our favorite bakery as part of our wedding day, and we can’t recommend them highly enough!!

Trefzger's Bakery did an amazing job on our wedding! Not only did we order a three tier wedding cake, but we also ordered cookies and cinnamon rolls for snacks. Everything looked and tasted wonderful! We highly recommend them!

Our red velvet cake was excellent and affordable. We only wanted a cake for cutting, and they were happy to do so without pressuring us to upgrade.

We had a three tiered cake and a groom cake for our wedding. Both cakes looked great and tasted wonderful! We were very happy with our choice!

Trefzger's made our wedding cake and cupcakes for our wedding last weekend. They did a great job. Our cakes were made in a birch wood style with hydrangea cupcakes. The dessert table looked beautiful and they tasted great too. Everyone was impressed with how nice they looked. I would highly recommend Trefzgers.
