We went with the Simple Ceremony option. The vows were perfect and exactly what we were looking for for our small ceremony. Gene was very professional and answered any questions I had leading up to the big day. He also sent the vows ahead of time which was great so we could look them over beforehand. Overall a great experience and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for an officiant in the Delaware area!

GENE WAS THE ABSOLUTE BEST!! He was our officiant and our dj. the ceremony script he wrote was breathtakingly beautiful and the he kept the party going all night at our reception!!! Very well prepared, and a lot of fun to to work with!! i would hire him again in a second!! HIRE HIM!! you wont regret it!!

After speaking with Gene over the phone for the first time, I knew I was in good hands. Planning your own wedding (mostly by yourself) in 3 months on a tight budget is borderline insane, but Gene had everything under control on his end. He was very patient and attentive, and his expertise was extremely helpful for me during the planning process. He has a wide selection of music, his lighting equipment is great (the reception looked stunning), and his prices are extremely reasonable!!!
On our big day, the script for the ceremony in which he wrote was beautiful and flawlessly executed. I was a little nervous how the day would go because I had to wing a couple things near the end of my planning. I honestly didn't know what to expect. But Gene made everything run so smoothly from start to finish that he made ME look good! Our big day was such a success! The best decision I have ever made. He is worth every penny and more!!!

Gene at Top Hat Entertainment did a wonderful job DJ’ing for our wedding! The dance floor was not empty once from the time the dance floor opened to the end of the reception. Gene was great throughout the planning process in helping us select the right music to set the tone for each piece of our reception. He also offered a lot of great ideas for customizing our reception and helped us select some nontraditional games that turned out to be one of the biggest hits of our reception.
