At Thurman & Fig, we take pride in minimizing our carbon footprint, setting ourselves apart in an industry that often can go the other direction. We prioritize partnerships with local flower farms and utilize sustainable design materials whenever possible. Roughly 85% of our waste is composted, 10% is recycled and a mere 5% goes to landfills. Carly Thurman, owner of Thurman & Fig studied at Academy of Art University in San Francisco CA and Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah GA before starting in visual and operational roles at Anthropologie and Free People for nearly a decade. Luckily, tremendous talent was not hard to find in such a climate and Thurman & Fig has been lucky to employ former creatives from the sister companies to this day.

Other than working tirelessly to create something truly magical for your day, we focus heavily on empowering women creatives while maintaining a sustainable carbon footprint in our beloved community. We believe in collaboration and community over competition and value working side by side with other florist friends to come up with top notch creativity in our field.
