We weren’t fortunate enough to have her take our wedding photos but she helped edit our photos for us when we were in need after our wedding photographer sent us a file of pure disaster. Jen, the sole proprietor of Thru My Lens Photography, is out of this world talented. She works multiple jobs, she is a mother, and she puts her clients before herself always. Photography is actually her side hustle, and yet you would think based on how quick she communicates, and how quickly she will get your product back to you, that this was her full-time job. Jen was open and willing to meet with us wherever possible and whatever worked for us. This was as subtle as meeting at Starbucks and explaining our vision to her. She did not disappoint. Our wedding day was November 11, 2023 and we booked Jen in the early months of the same year. She arrived early and stayed through the major parts of the dancing festivities, altogether spending over 7 hours on site making our dream wedding come to life. We were not picky when it came to what photos we necessarily wanted which worked well because Jen had such great visions by just using the natural landscapes that we would have never thought of in the first place. She is reasonably priced and not pushy at all, and no matter what, she will match the work of what 3 photographers might get done at other weddings, all by herself. Jen, as a person, is FUN, makes you feel comfortable, and knows exactly what you want before you even realize you want it. We would recommend her to anyone looking for an easy, relaxed, and nontraditional wedding. Jen understands that weddings are about capturing the love not making a grandiose production, and for this we could not be more grateful for finding her.
