My husband bought my engagement ring at Thompson's Jewelry in Batesville, AR. We wanted something different and I wanted a blue sapphire. We had looked at several stores and I found a ring at Thompson's that I loved. It was not an acutual engagement ring. We had for not even 2 1/2 months and the prong broke off. I took it back the guy was very rude said it would take a week and I asked about a wedding band he showed me some and then said that I should buy them now so they would not be gone when I came back. I told him that I wanted to wait and let my soon to be husband look at them with me. He got mad! I went back a week later to pick up my ring and could not find it then when he did said "I can't fix it you need to take it back to where you got it". I explained to him like I did when I brought the ring in that it had been purchased there at that store. He said that it you have to sent back to the company that made it and that would take four weeks. After four weeks not ring they said it would be another four weeks. It would not be back until a few days before my wedding and we still had to find wedding bands that would fit with it. It was an oval sapphire with diamonds around it. I could not wait another four weeks. I went and asked for my money back so that I could purchase another ring. I had asked them why the company could not send us a new ring. They had no answer. I finally got my money back and we purchased a new ring. I saw the guy after my wedding and he said be glad you got a new ring because that one is still not back!!! We will not purchase anything from them again.
