This venue was recommended by a friend who worked for a wedding caterer in the area (who we ended up using). They said it was an ideal set up for vendors. We also loved that (based on our wedding size) we didn't have to move seating around between the reception and ceremony sides. There is a space on site for both the bride and groom to get ready, ample parking for guests across the street, in downtown Knoxville, all the guests in one room and no tables/chairs of guests being taken away for the reception/dancing. I was able to avoid all the annoying things that can happen to a guest at a wedding. I also loved the aesthetic of the building/space. You are able to make it however you want, make it more etherial with draping, embrace the darker mood, or balance with greenery and white for a balance of feminine/masculine like we did. I would choose this venue again and again. 10/10 recommend. And Mary Beth was awesome to work with on visiting the venue multiple times, and having to go back the next day to pick up a piece of rented equipment that was accidentally left.

The Standard was the perfect venue for our day. We searched high and low in Knoxville for the perfect venue. Not only was the venue visually what we were looking for, but it also was so accommodating for a wedding our size. We had about 160 people and rented the entire venue for the day. There was plenty of room for all of us to get ready during the day without being in the way of the vendors. We also had the perfect amount of space for our reception and ceremony. The venue made all the difference and really pulled our wedding together. Thank you!!

I cant say enough great things about the Standard. Mary Beth and her crew are great to work with. Tables and chairs are provided and you can use any vendor you chose and can provide your own alcohol ( saves tons of money!). If you are looking for a unique, urban vibe the Standard is it!

This place is amazing!! What a perfect place for a wedding and reception. So many of the guests just raved about it. It looked so beautiful! Mary Beth, Chris, and Nick were so wonderful and helpful. The evening was perfect! Anyone who could see our pictures will want to use this place. We had guests who have kids getting married and they were asking us all about The Standard. Highly recommend!!!! The entire process was sooooo easy.

This venue is incredibly beautiful and affordable! From unique details throughout The Standard and the layout for events, this is a must see. Mary Beth has been amazing and answered all of my questions quickly. I highly recommend!

The Standard is an incredibly beautiful venue, with its elegance matched only by its versatility. Exposed brick, an incredible floor plan, and a bridal suite that was made for photography made this place the first choice for my Bride and me. Mary Beth and the crew are top notch professionals, and they are a joy to work with. If you're looking for a unique place to get hitched, this is the place to do it.

This venue was so pretty and perfect for our wedding! I would definitely recommend it. You may have to email the people a couple times for responses but they were usually good about replying back quickly.
