So The Shop is a hair salon in Burlington, IA owned by Shane. He is great. I had 5 bridesmaids. We started our hair appointments at 9am, and he with one other stylist finished all 6 of us by 11:30am. I have thinner, finer hair and he made a gorgeous updo that was elegant and sophisticated (and sturdy!). All of the bridesmaids were extremely happy with their hairdos and we got plenty of compliments throughout the evening. Plus, our hair lasted through the whole evening! - Nothing came out of place. Price was super reasonable for how beautiful the looks were. Shane, himself, is great to talk to, fun, and does a great job of listening to what you want and making magic with your hair. The Shop itself is so cool inside featuring a baby grand piano, a glass bottle chandelier, and cool, modern decor. Wedding parties also receive the option of mimosas, coffee, tea, juice, and a snack platter if wanted.
