About

The Senator's Mansion is a historic mansion and wedding venue located in Mannington, West Virginia, where you and your beloved can step back in time for an enchanting celebration of your love story. This property exudes elegance and charm, reminiscent of the 1920s era when Senator George Bowers roamed its halls. Today, couples from Mannington and beyond are invited to begin the first chapter of their lives together in this gorgeous setting.

Facilities and Capacity

The Senator's Mansion features manicured gardens and opulent interiors, allowing you and your beloved to host your special day indoors or outdoors. You can begin your day in the comfortable getting-ready suites with your wedding party, spending time together, making memories, and preparing for your ceremony. Your exchange of vows can take place outdoors surrounded by luscious greenery and acres of gardens, or indoors in one of the mansion's exquisite rooms. Then, all that remains is to enjoy an evening of dining, dancing, and celebrating with loved ones outdoors on the lawn or in the elegant Royal Ballroom. Alfresco ceremonies and receptions are suitable for up to 120 guests, while The Royal Ballroom can accommodate a more intimate 75, ideal for those with a smaller guest list.

Services Offered

When you host your special day here, you will have exclusive access to every inch of the mansion's event space, creating a private atmosphere for your occasion. Every package includes tables and chairs, so you have everything you need to set up your ceremony and reception areas. A professional bartender will also be present at your reception to prepare and serve delicious beverages for you and your loved ones. Extremely unprofessional

Extremely unprofessional and horrible customer service. When researching wedding venues online, I respectfully criticized their use of AI in their paid Facebook ad and how that makes their venue look to me—a potential customer. They deleted my comment and blocked me.

I emailed them asking why they would resort to blocking me over a singular comment rather than deal with a grievance diplomatically. I never received a response.

If this is how you handle one slightly negative comment, I would hate to see what happens when people who use your venue have complaints. Any reputable business addresses concerns instead avoiding them and ceasing contact. To me this is a huge reflection of the professionalism and integrity of the business owner(s). Keep their avoidant behavior and horrible attitudes in mind if you’re thinking of using them for what is supposed to be the happiest day of your life. God forbid you have anything slightly negative to say or complain about when it comes to your wedding.
We're all about trust. Our community relies on honest reviews to help you make those big decisions with ease.
