About
Situated minutes from the Draper Temple atop beautiful Corner Canyon with sweeping views of the Wasatch Range, our warm and open architecture with 3 garage doors that combines indoor and outdoor spaces, makes our location a truly unique and memorable venue.
The cornerstone of Ridge Cafe is our authentic Stefano Ferrara brick oven handcrafted in Naples, and formed with clay from Italy’s Sorrento region, this eye-catching, copper-tiled oven is the kitchen work-horse. Everything from our white chocolate bread pudding to our whole roasted chickens come from what we affectionately refer to as Big Red.
For our magical mountain winters we can host up to 65 guests in our dining room. Once the weather warms up our wrap around patio opens up for an alfresco dining experience second to none in the Salt Lake valley. With the patio we can accomodate up to 175 guests. No matter the season or size of your event, when you book with us you book the entire venue! This enables our incredible experience makers to focus solely on you and your guests. Ultimitely, Ridge Cafe and Catering is where couples go to elevate life's special occasions into unforgettable experiences.
We offer full service packages starting at $35 per person, or you an opt to utilize just the venue while bringing in your own caterer. Our venue rental rates, when using our catering services, start at $600.
We strive to make our booking process as simple and efficient as posisble. You will deal with one experience maker from start to finish. In most cases we can have your wedding planned and booked within a day or two of initial inquiry. You will have complete access to your personal experience maker throughout the entire process. We provide you with their cell number for late night panic texts as well as their email. Guest experience is our number one priority and our passion, you're in good hands with Ridge Cafe and Catering.
If you already have your venue booked, we would love to cater for you! We offer everything from casual drop off catering to fully staffed, off site catering.
While our mountain top location makes us special, it's not what makes us unique. Too often beautiful, picturesque venues offer only that, beautiful scenery while the food and service take a back seat. What makes us unique is our passion and experience in making every dish be the best dish you've ever tasted. On the service end of things Madi, Justin, Bradynn and Nick are some of the best in the business. Anticipating your needs and creating experences is what we do!

Steven now lives in Salt Lake with his 3 daughters, Nora, Clementine and ... Now land locked, Steven can be found around the Valley indulging his passions of food, art and music, always with his daughters in tow!

Anthony was born and raised in New Haven, Connecticut where pizza is king and culture abounds. His love of cooking was fostered and developed early on at the heels of his Aunt and Uncle.
Anthony has 30 years of experience in hospitality. Starting as a dishwasher at local mom and pops and working his way through the kitchens of the B Bar and New World Home Cooking in New York, Boulevard and Tera Firma Farms in the Bay area, amongst many others.
After graduating from the prestigious Culinary Institute of America Hyde Park he decided to start heading west for good. After spending some time in Austin, TX; Kona, HI; and one less than desirable part of AZ, he found himself along the Wasatch Front rediscovering his passion for food, service and the mountains.
He lives with his son Justin and dog Gaea in Sandy. When he’s not at the café testing recipes and learning new ways of creating experiences you can find Justin, Gaea and Anthony up in the mountains searching out some experiences of their own.
Devin was born and raised in Mordor, Middle Earth. Although not exactly a happy child hood, Devin did learn to master the crafts of foraging and alchemy at an early age.
After his home was destroyed by a certain Baggins, Devin moved to the Shire where he took on a Hobbit wife and developed a keen passion for cooking with live fire.
Devin now lives in Riverton where he enjoys spending time with his niece and watching comedy specials on Netflix.
