I loved loved loved having my wedding here!! I was concerned with the weather as I wanted an outdoor wedding but the indoor option was nice as well. Luckily the weather turned out PERFECT!! Mrs. Rawlings was always very nice and professional and very prompt in responding to any questions or needs we had. She offered suggestions but was not pushy. We arrived quite a bit early the day of our rehersal not knowing how traffic would be but Mrs. Rawlings was there to help map things out and get things situated for the big day. She was there to help on the day of but never got in the middle of anything, nor did her staff to tell you the truth. I don't remember actually seeing them but everything that needed to be done was done so promptly it was as if by magic food was done .. things were cleaned... drinks were filled.. my only regret is that I didn't get to spend more time there. My pictures turned out great with the natural lighting and I couldn't be happier. Awesome day!!

My experience was wonderful in the beginning, and during the whole planning process. Mrs. Rawlings was timely and helpful and so nice. On the day of the rehearsal I noticed that she was a little short with me, but thought maybe she is just having a bad day. On the day of wedding is when things got bad. We were told that if we dropped all day of decorations, bubbles, guest book, favors etc everything would be set up when we arrived. My mother and father had to set up the centerpieces and favors. The guest book was not out and half my guests did not sign because of this. None of the set up was done as promised except the things that belonged to the Rawlings, silverware, linens etc. It rained early in the day on my wedding day. It stopped about 3 hours before. I wanted to have my wedding outside. This is why we chose this venue. Mrs. Rawlings did not approve of this decision and that is where her terrible attitude started. She asked me if I was having it indoors or out. I told her out. She rolled her eyes at me then went downstairs and told everyone I would not make up my mind, which was completely a lie. She rolled her eyes again when I asked her if she would hold up the back of my dress down the stairs. She forces you to do your wedding day schedule how she wants. Everyone eats while you are taking photos so by the time the bride and groom come in your guests have eaten and are starting to leave and you do not get to eat with your guests. She forces you to cut your cake at the beginning of the reception which in turn also prompts everyone to leave. I told her I did not want it done this way and she kept insisting. There were a few other times that she got snotty with me and my husband and the photographer. This venue is absolutely gorgeous and she will make you believe that is your day and everything will be perfect. That is till you give her the money. Which is 10 days before the wedding. Beware.
