The Notchland Inn bills itself as a magical location and indeed it is. If you want a small, intimate wedding of 50 people or less, then a bed and breakfast where all of your guests can stay on site, where you can arrange to have the ceremony and reception at the same location, and have fabulous food and attention to detail from the Innkeepers...then I highly recommend Notchland Inn. The Innkeepers, Ed and Les were so good about being patient and working with my husband and me to create the wedding of our dreams. They let us envision what we wanted and helped us to make it possible....and gave us helpful advice on vendors in the area for music, cake, etc. and they were spot-on with those recommendations. I think one of the areas where they really shone is helping is to deal with the rain on our wedding day...all day it was threatening to rain and we had always planned on a backup plan of moving the wedding inside but a bride wants her wedding to be beautiful...and so I was disappointed that I would not have the beauty of the outdoors and we didn't really have decorations for inside - but Ed and Les took care of the details and worked with me to get my ideas for what we wanted inside and then transformed the inside. Everyone raved about how beautiful and intimate our wedding ended up being when it was moved inside. All of our guests complimented us on our choice to be at such a beautiful inn, with excellent food and service from the Innkeepers and owners.
