I had been searching for the perfect bakery to do our wedding cake/dessert table. Not being from Champaign, IL area, this was a challenge for me. On suggestion of a friend who went to U of I, I contacted The New Sweet Indulgence and was extremely pleased with their responsiveness and flexibility to work with me on the perfect dessert table and cake for our wedding. I previously had contacted several other bakers/bakeries in the area and there were always issues -- either they weren't responsive, didn't have my date open, were WAY (way way) too expensive, or weren't flexible enough to try to bake something outside their set list of baked goods/repertoire. That was not the case with Sweet Indulgence. Missy and team took the time to speak with me and my fiance one-on-one, made sure to have something for us to taste when we drove in from Chicago (fresh carrot cake...delicious!!), talked us through all the options, and gave fantastic, creative recommendations. They make their buttercream fresh and it makes a huge difference. These people know what they're doing! They are very affordable, too! We are able to do much more with our dessert table than I thought originally. I am so excited to work with them for our June 2016 wedding!
