The Mill at Plein Air
About
The Mill at Plein Air and The Chapel at Plein Air offer a truly unique wedding opportunity. Get married in the gorgeous chapel and walk a few steps to the most unique reception venue in the Oxford area. Both The Chapel and The Mill are built from almost 100% salvaged material reclaimed from century old warehouses, mills, churches, and estate homes. If you are looking for elegance in a timeless atmosphere you have found it.
The Chapel at Plein Air was built to look and feel like a church you would find in the Mississippi Delta 100 years ago. Using almost all reclaimed material we have created an intimate, yet functional, venue for weddings. The heart pine floors are from a two hundred year old warehouse in Charleston, SC, the windows came out of a Lutheran church in Pennsylvania, the traditional church lighting out of a Boston church, and the long oak pews from a church in Virginia. The bead board ceilings are 14' tall. The chapel will comfortably seat 250-260 people.
