Marie is a hair and makeup wizard, couldn't be more grateful to work with her for my wedding! She did hair and makeup for me, my mom, and my sister on my wedding day, and we were all so happy with her work. She created the most beautiful updo in what felt like just minutes, and the updo perfectly fit the flow and fabric of my dress. She uses great makeup products, and made me feel beautiful but still like myself on my big day! Can't recommend Marie more!

It felt like it took me forever to find a stylist in Vermont that was comfortable working with all the different types of hair in my bridal party. Particularly since I had two black bridesmaids, I wanted to be sure that my bridesmaids were confident that their hair was going to be taken care of. Thank goodness I found Marie. She did an amazing job on everyone. I went to her adorable "Milkhouse" for my trial and was so happy with the two trial versions we tried. Marie worked with the unique hair pieces I had brought from Thailand for my hair. Also she traveled to our location, Basin Harbor, and set up in our room which was so convenient and made the day so much more relaxed. Thank you Marie!

Marie did my hair for my wedding on 9/16/17 and did an amazing job. I am so impressed by her talent and professionalism – she is clearly a true star at what she does! From the moment I found my dress, I wanted to do a braid that fell over my shoulder so you could see the back of my dress however I have really fine hair so wasn’t sure it would stay. Marie’s incredible talent proved me wrong as she was able to create exactly what I had envision after looking at ONE photo from Pinterest. The day before my wedding, she went out of her way to buy a hair extension (my first time!) that matched perfectly with my hair color and it came out perfectly – better than I could have ever imagined – I never wanted to take it out! Marie and Erin did my bridesmaids’ and mom’s hair as well. They all had different styles – which was great as I wanted everyone to feel and look great – and all the looks complemented each other. They were thrilled and looked absolutely stunning. They were very attentive and made each of our looks our own. I am so lucky I was able to work with Marie throughout the process and on the big day as I can’t imagine a better outcome!

I could not have asked for more from Marie Turmel. Don't be fooled by the fact that she looks like she's 20 on her website- she does look that young, but she's actually got 20+ years of experience in beauty and hair. With her ballerina background, Marie is poised to make any girl's wedding hair dreams come true. She listens, cares deeply about how you feel about your look, and executes with perfection. She created an individual look for my wedding for each bridesmaid, and my bridal hair was stunning. Somehow she didn't use much product in my hair and it all stayed perfectly in place, despite humidity and dancing! Look no further, Marie is a dream to work with!

I had a wonderful experience with Marie, who's incredibly sweet and very talented. She did hair and makeup for myself, sister, mother, and mother-in-law, as well as my hair/makeup trial. From the day of the trial, I knew I made the right choice. I told her a rough idea of what I wanted done with my hair, and she knew exactly what to do, and it looked amazing. On the day, she and another stylist traveled to us and did an awesome job. We all looked gorgeous and natural, and my hair stayed perfectly in place all evening. The salon also has the most incredible view!

Marie did my hair for my wedding on 9/1/18. At my bridal trial, I just described what I wanted done without any pictures and she managed to come up with something far more beautiful than I was picturing in my head. On the day of the wedding, she worked with all of our bridesmaids each requesting something a little different but all of which looking beautiful when Marie finished. She is a true artist! Marie is also very peaceful which brought such a nice calmness to getting ready! I highly recommend her :)
