The venue is powered by Matthew 25: Ministry, a charitable organization that provides international humanitarian aid and disaster relief. The Mettey offers ideal settings for both ceremonies and receptions. The Reverend Wendell & Michelle Mettey Chapel lies nestled amongst natural landscaping, creating a place of true serenity and beauty. Welcoming up to 250 seated guests, it is the ideal space to seal your love. The Mettey Event Center offers a spacious and elegant venue for weddings of up to 500 guests. Flooded with natural light, it boasts gorgeous neutral-toned furnishings and luxe carpeting. Various customizable layout options allow you to set up the space however you wish. Tables, chairs, and linens are provided with each venue rental. AV equipment, custom lighting options, and a modular dance floor are also available from the venue, providing all the elements necessary for an unforgettable night of celebrations. The on-site getting-ready suite offers a private retreat where couples and their wedding parties can prepare for the big day in style. The room is finished with elegant decor, featuring a full-length mirror, individual vanities, plush furnishings, and romantic accents.
Services Offered
The team at The Mettey Chapel & Event Center has designed a selection of packages to suit a variety of events and budgets. Each package includes full access to the venue on your wedding day and a dedicated day-of coordinator. Couples can avail of a one-hour rehearsal, and the venue provides security for the event. The Mettey has curated a list of preferred vendors who will ensure your big day is just as you always dreamed it to be. This list includes caterers, florists, decorators, and entertainment. Couples are also welcome to choose independent suppliers at an additional fee.
