Services Offered

Dr. J Sain is qualified to officiate weddings in Illinois and Indiana. Known for his versatility, he is happy to serve all manner of ceremony types, including religious, secular, and interfaith. Whether you wish to wed in an indoor or outdoor event space, he can conduct services in a variety of venue types. His ceremonies typically last for around 30 minutes, and you can pose for photographs with him right after you say the words “I do”.

J. was absolutely amazing to work with. We corresponded via email since my spouse and I are from out of town. He was very quick to respond and made setting up the ceremony a seamless process. Any suggestions we had he incorporated. J. helped make our day as special as it was!

I can't say enough wonderful things about our experience working with J. He led us through the whole process, keeping our personal wishes in mind the whole time. He was very helpful in answering questions, and he was flexible when we wanted to change up a couple things in the ceremony along the way. Thank you so much for making the day flawless!

Set up a convenient meeting time to plan out the ceremony. At that time he presented an outline for general inclusions in a ceremony. He explained common choices for weddings, and adapted a ceremony itinerary according to our feedback and desired focus points. On the big day, he was early and handled everything from photo-ops to paperwork with a friendly, happy attitude. We couldn't be happier with the arrangement!

J. married us at Allerton Park last summer. He did a great job, was very professional, and put us at ease during a pretty hectic time! We wanted a non-denominational wedding, and he respected our wishes. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Working with J was great--he worked with us to make the ceremony our own (we wanted it to be non-religious but spiritual, and not too long), and did a wonderful job during our big day. We had several compliments on the great job he did.

Perfect for what we were looking for. We did not have your traditional "church" wedding so we were worried about finding an officiant who could provide the services we wanted. J's services were excellent! He was extremely professional.

Because we wanted a short ceremony and did not include a lot of the extra's (ie. unity candle, mother's flowers, ect...) our ceremony was extremely short. (maybe 15 mins) He was able to convey the message we wanted within the time and make it a beautiful ceremony.

The price was $175 (a little high for the short time), however was exactly what we wanted.

J was a wonderful find. We searched all over the state for an officiant who would be able to provide a professional, reverent tone to our ceremony while still being flexible to our requests for nondenominational proceedings that included customs from many religious backgrounds. J was so easy-going but still involved and able to answer our questions through the planning process. He was an ace at getting our license turned in so we had copies waiting for us when we returned from our honeymoon. The only reason we didn't do 5/5 across the board was because we would have liked for him to be there for our rehearsal, but we understand scheduling conflicts happen. J was the perfect match to give us the wedding we wanted.
