The Grove is the perfect spot for a wedding ceremony, where you can tie the knot on a half-acre of lush green space. While you pose for photos with your beloved around the grounds, guests can make their way into The Laundry for cocktail hour. The main venue is timelessly elegant, with exposed brick walls, pinewood beams and trusses, and an open floor plan. A catering area and get-ready rooms are attached to the main reception hall. For more intimate celebrations, The Upper Room offers 3,025 square feet of reception space and gorgeous views of the surrounding area. The Grove, The Laundry, and The Upper Room are available to rent individually or together.

History

In the early 19th century, The Laundry was constructed as an important hospital for the Columbia community. During the Civil War, the property even briefly served as a prisoner-of-war camp. The storied spaces have now been lovingly restored by the Avant family, who have preserved many of its unique features.
