We hired The Honey Badgers to play our wedding in September and can say that it was hands-down our best investment. They were just all around chill and lovely. Super easy to communicate with, took great care in our arrangements, and couldn’t have been more kind and accommodating when some unexpected weather forced us to change to a plan B set-up right before they arrived. Most importantly, their sound was exactly what we were looking for. Our guests loved them so much and we got lots of requests for their information afterwards. My husband and I loved how genuine and sweet they were even just chatting during clean-up after the party was over. We felt they were super reasonably priced for all that they brought to the table. We both whole heartedly recommend The Honey Badgers for their talent and the care they put in the service they offer.

The Honey Badgers were absolutely amazing and our guests couldn't stop raving about them. Most didn't realize it was a live band at first because they were so great! I had asked for a very specific music cue for our first kiss that I wasn't sure was possible and they absolutely delivered. Everyone said they thought they were in a movie. They also noticed that I didn't hear one of the songs I specifically requested and offered to play it again so I could hear it which was so sweet! They were a last minute addition to our event and I am soooo grateful it they were there. It definitely wouldn't have been the same without them. Thank you!!!

We had the Honey Badgers set up the mic for our wedding ceremony, play for our wedding ceremony, and play at the cocktail hour after that. Everything went perfect from the planning to the execution itself! I highly recommend them and would book them again in a heartbeat! Thank you for making our day easy and wonderful!

The Honey Badgers were a highlight of our Wedding. We had an intimate wedding at a restaurant in Brooklyn, with around 100 people. We didn't want solely instrumental but didn't want to purchase a whole band. A music duo was the ideal choice, but we were looking for something more personal and sweet for our guests. When I found The Honey Badgers, they were exactly what I was looking for. They had several videos online of cover songs, and we loved the way they tackled pop or rock songs from a soft folk angle. They seemed musically fearless and up for a challenge.

The Honey Badgers were easy to work with, and extremely responsive leading up to the event. We had a few check ins to get a feel for the wedding vibes, and they took time to check our Spotify to understand our music taste. We choose songs off their robust list of instrumental and lyrical songs, including a grateful dead song for my father, and a Taylor Swift song (not a T-Swift fan, but their rendition of Lover was so perfect and sweet).

The cherry on top of the whole process was their excitement to learn new songs. We wanted to hear some of our favorite songs throughout the night, and they took the time to practice and learn some instrumental versions. We even played around with our first dance song to make the verses instrumental, while the bridge was vocal, and overall made the song more elevated for a first dance.

Their sound was crisp, and cut through all the background noise, instead of adding to the bustle of cocktail hour and dinner. Before the wedding they sent a comprehensive set list that mapped out what they would play at the cocktail hour (more instrumental) and intro the dinner set (more lyrical).

We received so many complements on our sweet musical duo. Would highly recommend working with The Honey Badgers for your wedding.

They were great all around - fun and talented performers, super friendly and easy to work with, and not crazy expensive. Erin and Michael were PERFECT at our wedding! Live music was really important for us to have at our ceremony and cocktail hour, and the combination of Erin's violin and Michael's guitar, mixed with their singing as well - was spot on for what we dreamed of. My husband and I downsized from a 120 person wedding to about 30 (give or take). We decided on a band instead of a DJ & happened across The Honeybadgers - I feel it was absolutely meant to be. Erin & Michael were communicative & personable from the start. They were spot on with the vibes we were going for, open for requests, & patient with our indecisiveness. They even managed to learn our first dance song in the span of about a month! They both have beautiful voices, are excellent musicians & are just overall a lovely couple. The Honey Badgers were hands down our favorite vendor! Our guests are raving about how great they were. They sang live music for the processional and recessional for the ceremony and it was so romantic. For cocktail hour they played folk versions of many songs and crushed it! They were so memorable.
