We knew from the moment that my now husband and I were engaged that we wanted to use The Heims to capture our wedding day. My husband had never worked with The Heims until our wedding day, me, on the other hand, have worked with The Heims in the past. My family and I have used their services since 2014 to capture various achievements and moments in our lives. They’re kind, knowledgeable, and professional to work with, and have made every experience memorable. The Heims know how to capture a moment no matter what the occasion may be, but when it comes to capturing emotionally raw detailed pictures, they truly know how to do that well. Choosing a photographer was one of the most important, and therefore one of the most challenging, decisions we made during wedding planning. After speaking to close to ten other photographers, I came across a photo on our venue's Instagram that had tagged The Heims as the photographers. It was close to "love at first sight". Their style and eye for detail was exactly what we were looking for. After reading more about them on their website, I knew we had found our photographers- before even speaking to them. I literally told my (now) husband, "I feel like we could be friends with them in real life".

It goes without saying that Macey and Danny are incredibly talented photographers. One look at their work will tell you that. What sets them apart is their love and respect for each other, their kindness, and their desire to go above and beyond for their couples. They create the most comfortable and natural environment. My husband and I are not naturals in front of the camera, but you wouldn't be able to tell looking through our gallery. We could not have asked for a better team to capture our engagement photos and wedding day. These are memories that will be cherished for years to come. Although they live 7 hours away, I could not imagine anyone else photographing our future milestones- sorry Macey + Danny, you're stuck with us.

It was the only weekend in March Macey wasn’t booked. She had weekend plans to go down south. Three days before our wedding, our photographer, who was traveling from Montana, was forced to cancel after falling ill. My wife was panicked, devastated. We did not have a clue how we were going to find a photographer in such short notice, with the style we knew we wanted. Macey went out of her way, changed her plans, and showed up for us after being highly recommended by our wedding planner. This shows her character. Macey was extremely complimentary, she gave direction but never changed the scene. She was always scanning the room, looking for the best thing at any given moment to shoot. Of course my wife and I were always her focus, but when she captured the moments and knew she had the shots, she would look elsewhere for another perfect shot. You don’t realize how important this is until you get your photos back. She was there for every important moment, sometimes things you don’t even know are important moments until you see them captured. She delivered everything we wanted and more. She got our photos back to us in a timely manner, even in the midst of the pandemic, when we all know self motivation was hard to come by. We can not thank Macey and The Heims enough for dropping everything, going out of their way, showing up, and delivering the perfect photos, and capturing every moment in the most artistic and magical way. There is no better, no one more professional, kind, caring, and easy to be around, which is very important, because who you surround yourself with on your wedding day, you will never forget. The Heims are such a great couple. They are wonderful to work with and their photos are beyond stunning. They make the day of your wedding so easy and fun, which is what you need. I didn't have to worry about a thing with them and I would highly recommend them to anyone! They are the best!

Planning our wedding during COVID was incredibly difficult at times, but Macey + Danny never made us feel alone in the process. They were incredible when we had to reschedule not once, but twice. They are some of the most genuine people we have ever met, and I was so excited to see them on our wedding day. They truly feel like family and we look forward to having more pictures taken by them in the future. They are so talented at what they do and we had loved all of the sneaks we have seen from our big day. We have never felt so comfortable having our photos taken by anyone, so it was so refreshing to have them simply feel like old friends each time we saw them.
