We cannot thank you enough for giving us the most incredible wedding day!! The Grenville was stunning, romantic and so much fun! Everyone we talked to was so kind, friendly and helpful! Maureen handled the day with ease and even when it rained, her crew set-up the inside so quickly and beautifully!

Our guests loved the food and had such a wonderful time enjoying cocktails on the veranda! It was perfect to take a breather and then get back dancing! We also wanted to say thank you for making the most of our budget. We would have never expected this gem to be a place we could afford to host such a special day!

It was the perfect choice for us to get married at the Grenville. I spent most childhood summers at the Jersey Shore, and my husband even proposed to me on this beach at sunrise. Our 50-guest wedding was scheduled over three days: rehearsal dinner Friday night, wedding Saturday, and farewell brunch Sunday morning. Everything except the rehearsal dinner took place at the Grenville. Every hotel room was occupied with our guests, so the whole weekend felt like one big sleepover!

Maureen, Harry, and Patti from the Grenville really came to feel like family throughout this process. Maureen and I were in regular communication about plans and details, and she was incredibly lovely and easy to work with.

For food, We loved their h’or d'oeuvres during cocktail hour. During the reception dinner, the banquet tables were set up horseshoe-style, so it was like one big family dinner. The Grenville provides an amazing menu as part of their wedding package. We had two tastings in the months leading up the wedding, to finalize our menu. We had a fabulous time working with the owner and head chef Harry, to finalize our menu that included one meat option (Chicken Francaise with Whipped Potatoes & Mixed Vegetables), one vegetarian option (Fusilli alla Vodka with Spinach, Asparagus, & Zucchini), and one vegan option (Impossible Beef Wellington with Roast Potatoes & Mixed Vegetables).

For much of our reception, our guests were so happy sitting on the veranda enjoying the rain. People were cozied up in blankets around the fire pit, and having long relaxed conversations with each other. My husband and I found ourselves thinking how lucky we were to be married in such a lovely place.

Easy planning and amazing staff!

We got married 8/2020 at the beach near the Grenville inn. I planned my wedding in 20 days and The INN was absolutely amazing with me. Especially with the pandemic CDC guidelines were very strict but the INN accommodated us and made us feel like we’ve known them forever.. i can’t wait to visit them and personally thanking them for such a perfect evening

I give the Grenville my highest recommendation for their excellence in providing a great venue for my daughter’s wedding. Because of Covid, my daughters original venue cancelled her large reception, but the church allowed her to have the ceremony. I had to organize a smaller reception that would be outside within 3 weeks. Maureen and her outstanding staff helped me to make a lovely reception on their beautiful outside covered porch, with delicious food and highest attention to detail. I was able to have a cellist and violinist play for the first hour, which added to the beauty of the event. All my guests were amazed and were so happy to celebrate my daughter’s wedding here. The evening went perfectly ! I will be returning many more times and will bring my family. We will always remember this special celebration at the Grenville. Our wedding at The Grenville in Bay Head, NJ was PERFECT! We took our photos on the beach, had our ceremony on the porch, and had our reception inside. We got a hotel block and the majority of our out of town guests stayed upstairs at The Grenville. Maureen and Harry were incredibly helpful. They really know their venue, and they helped us maximize the space and figure out the best layout. We had about 85 guests, and The Grenville was the perfect size. We brought paper flower centerpieces made by a local artisan, and Maureen and her team set up our tables beautifully. Friends and family helped do more of the set up the morning of our wedding, and Maureen took it from there. Everything went smoothly, and there is nothing we would change. We got compliments about the decor, relatives loved the charm and boutique feel of the hotel upstairs, and everyone LOVED the food! We got the buffet, and it was amazing. As a restaurant, The Grenville has excellent food. Sometimes when venues cater the food for their weddings, it’s not as good. This was NOT the case at The Grenville. The food we had at the buffet was the same caliber as the food they would serve to a restaurant patron on a Saturday night. Maureen recommended we get our cake from Conforti’s in Brick, NJ. Best decision. Is was beautiful and delicious. If your wedding guest list will fit at The Grenville, save yourself the trouble of looking elsewhere and book The Grenville! Maureen knows her stuff!

I could not be any happier with my wedding that took place at The Grenville! Harry and Maureen were just awesome. Completely laid back and extremely helpful. The price was fantastic too! After the wedding we stayed the night in a very nice room (most of the guests stayed in rooms as well). It was a very relaxed and comfortable experience and the price could not be beat! The food was fantastic as well. Absolutely 10 stars out of 10!

Maureen and Erin were very pleasant and professional. The place is very pretty and the food was very good. It is a lovely Inn and Restaurant. I would highly recommend it. We are also having our Grandson’s Christening there as well!

Renne and Harry Are the best. they provide me with lodgeing and reception. They are amazing !!!!!!!! There staff is also amazing Our serever tony was the best. thank you to all of them for helping make by wedding go off with out any glitches. thank you thank you tricia lynam
