We are so happy we booked our reception venue at The Great Hall. There are few places in the Memphis area that can accommodate banquet seating for more than 250 guests with incredible features such as tables, linens, chairs, lighting, sound, full service kitchen, balcony, and courtyard. The venue was also near a cute pond with gazebos that were perfect for our wedding pictures. Lastly, our site coordinator, Lindsey Anslinger, was really easy to work with, contributing to a smooth planning process.

This venue is GREAT! It was truly convenient because I did not want our families driving all the way across town from one venue to the other. It is a bit pricy, but for what u get, it well worth it. The manager Chuck Porter was such a sweetheart. They provided me with a venue that would fit all my guest comfortably! And the best part of this is there were NO EXTRA FEES! The only extra fee was if you desire longer linens for your tables and of course tax. The staff were very professional. Before the event, Andrew, one of the staff was very cordial and anything extra that was needed he was able to provide in the middle of him setting up. And the night staff Jessica, was also very cordial and responded immediately if we needed anything extra. I would definitely recommend this venue for both wedding and reception to all future brides!

Lindsey and Nick went out of their way to make sure that every little want and need, every little ticky question I had was better than satisfied. Lindsey was incredibly sweet, friendly, upfront on details but NEVER rude or brusque, upbeat and helpful with everything I could possibly need from her. Nick filled in all of the facility and tech needs we had (and we had a lot of "tech" going on), even running extra power drops for us. The venue was perfect and versatile for the (VERY) reasonable price we paid for our event, especially considering all of the amenities they include when using their venue. The real shining stars of using the Germantown Great Hall is truly Lindsey and Nick though. They were wonderful to both me AND all of my multinational guests. I look forward to my next opportunity to use this venue so much, I might just send Lindsey and Nick a holiday card!
