The Gaines Estate offers historic elegance in its fully restored 1917 mansion and newly-constructed 4,000-square-foot reception hall located on 192 acres in downtown Fayetteville, West Virginia, as a wedding venue. Both beautiful and enchanting, this property is the ideal choice for picturesque ceremonies and receptions.
Facilities and Capacity
This beautiful venue accommodates up to 200 guests in our house and pavilion. Larger parties can be accommodated outdoors on the Gaines Estate grounds. Couples have the option of hosting their ceremony and/or reception in one of our breathtaking outdoor ceremony sites, in the fully-enclosed pavilion, or in the beautifully designed Gaines Estate House. ADA-compliant features add convenience for guests.

One of the best
From the Walnut Grove, to the manor, to the sprawling fields, we have no complaints photographing weddings at this venue! The staff is very hard working and friendly to vendors and clients. It is conveniently located in Fayetteville which offers many airbnb’s and lodging options for guests and a plethora of things to do. Cannot recommend them enough for your Big Day!

Excellent!
The Gaines Estate was the perfect venue for our wedding day. The property has multiple beautiful outdoor ceremony options and there are plenty of unique outdoor spaces to take photos. The Gaines Estate staff was accommodating, kind, and easy to work with. They did an excellent job making sure our day was what we envisioned!
