About this vendor
The Funk Junkies are a premier 9-piece Soul & Funk wedding band from Nashville, TN, dedicated to keeping you and your wedding guests on the dance floor all night long.
The Funk Junkies are not your typical wedding band. The ensemble features two dynamic lead vocalists, backed by a full rhythm section and a 4-piece horn section. They aren't just a agency ran entity made up of the next available hired guns; The Funk Junkies are an authentic band, and you'll see the same 9 individuals playing every private event and show around Nashville.
The group's sound sets them apart, curating a blended playlist of Funk, Soul, R&B, Motown, and blues. They navigate a repertoire that spans the sounds of Stevie Wonder, James Brown, Al Green, The Gap Band, Michael Jackson, Anthony Hamilton, Jill Scott, Bruno Mars, Rihanna, and more. Cross-generational appeal that gets everyone out of their seats.
The band excels at reading the room and adjusting their energy in the moment to maintain the perfect atmosphere, whether it’s time to enjoy drinks, dinner, or dancing! From the first conversation to your last song of the night, The Funk Junkies are committed to making your celebration unforgettable.
