Curtis and Lisa Platte have done an AMAZING job renovating since buying The Club at Shoal Creek! When we approached them about having our wedding reception out there they were more than willing to take on the challenge. We had our ceremony at a local church so we only needed them for the reception space. They were very responsive and helpful as we created what would work best for our wedding. The bridal and groom getting ready suites were fixed up for us to relax as we got ready for our wedding. They worked great with all of our vendors to make our day wonderful (especially our wedding planner local to Griffin Teresa Copeland/Weddings by TC). Their wedding package had several things included which helped cut down on items we had to rent from outside vendors (tables, chairs, tablecloths, dance floor). We were able to fit 180 seated with the dance floor bigger. I am sad I do not have any pictures of the bar area to share but it is BEAUTIFUL! They went above and beyond to make sure our day was special!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at The Club at Shoal Creek, and it made for the most perfect night. We were able to have a cocktail hour outside on the lawn and the reception in the ballroom and bar. Lisa and Curtis Platte are great to work with. We are so thankful for them and for how hard they worked to make sure we had a wonderful wedding reception!

We couldn't have asked for more. Beautiful banquet room and bar area with wraparound porch overlooking the pool and lake and a gorgeous sunset. Parking was easy and convenient. Staff were great. After we put our own personal touches on the space, it was elegant and blew everyone away. I couldn't imagine a prettier place to get married.
