We hired Aubriana of The Bloomery Co. for our elegant backyard wedding. She exceeded all of our expectations! Aubriana is a highly talented florist. She immediately understood the look I was going for—bright, colorful, elegant and natural—and her floral arrangements were stunning. She created a gorgeous bridal bouquet, beautiful cascading centerpieces for the dinner tables, and a custom-designed floral pathway for our ceremony. Her work has a unique touch—she even incorporated blackberries from the backyard into the groomsmen’s boutonnieres. Her choice of flowers is beautiful and unique—these are not the same arrangements you get from most florists. To this day, I get compliments on her work.
In addition to being talented, Aubriana is a joy to work with. She was professional, accommodating, creative and reliable. She worked with me to create a floral package that fit my budget and vision. She came to visit the wedding site twice. Because the wedding was in our backyard, she gave advice on the plants we were growing ourselves so that the wedding florals would look cohesive. She was always calm and flexible. She had a great attitude and when she arrived the day of the wedding, her team was completely independent.
Best of all, Aubriana is a total pro in a crisis! We had spent the year growing flowers in the backyard, but the week before the wedding the flowers around the ceremony site began dying. This was the most important focal point of the wedding and I was devastated that it would be filled with dead flowers. But Aubriana came to our rescue—she made a last minute visit and scoped out the site. She came up with a beautiful solution that created a stunning natural floral pathway to frame the ceremony site. On top of that, we got married on the hottest day of the year and Aubriana did everything possible to keep the flowers fresh—waiting to remove the the flowers from the air-conditioned van until the very last minute and watering them extensively.
