Situated at the west entrance to Glacier National Park, alongside towering Western Larch and surrounded by mountains, you will find The Historic Belton Chalet. As Glacier National Parks oldest lodging, The Belton's elegantly restored lodge rooms, cottages and event spaces offer guests a unique experience that is guaranteed to leave a lasting impression.
From our rebirth in 1998 to today, we have constantly been striving to offer the high-class hospitality that our founders, James J. & Louis W. Hill, had envisioned. The father and son Hill duo were the owners of the Great Northern Railway and were known for being exceptionally meticulous in all matters. You can see their eye for detail to this day at the Belton. The most notable artistic details can be found in our architecture. All of our buildings have Dutch-hipped roofs, scallop banding around the exterior, and ornate wainscoting throughout.
Please join us for an evening stay in one of our beautifully restored lodge rooms. It will feel like your taking a step back in time and give you a true opportunity to unwind without the plethora of every-day distractions.
We are dedicated to the success of your event from the time you book through its completion. Our experienced events manager will be in contact with you every step of the way and our events staff is trained to make your big day go just as planned. Your lodging, set up, tear down, catering and bar service needs will all be taken care of.
We would love for you to come out and see our property! To schedule a tour of the property please call us at 406-888-5000.
