The property spans more than 50 acres along the shores of Lake Hartwell, offering a picturesque setting for bespoke photo shoots and ceremony sites. Couples can exchange vows throughout the grounds, from open pastures and shaded woods to lake views and garden settings. For receptions, The Gray offers a refined indoor dining room paired with an inviting outdoor patio and fire pit, with a maximum capacity of 50 seated indoors. Overnight accommodations are available in five luxury suites at the Inn, allowing couples and loved ones to relax and celebrate all day long and late into the evening.

Our Magical Day
We stayed the night before the wedding, which allowed us to wake up relaxed and fully present for our big day. The best part? We didn’t have to stress about a single detail. The staff handled everything so beautifully. I simply shared the flowers I envisioned, the cake, the dinner menu, and how I wanted the table arranged — and they executed it flawlessly. They even coordinated the photographer, and the entire day flowed seamlessly.
The setting itself is absolutely stunning. The backdrop for our ceremony and photos was breathtaking, creating the most romantic and timeless images. The property is gorgeous, quiet, and so serene — it truly feels like a hidden gem.
I am gluten free, and they were incredibly accommodating. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and delicious, from our wedding dinner to the amazing breakfast we enjoyed the next morning before leaving for our honeymoon. It meant so much to feel so cared for.
Catharine officiated our ceremony, which made the day feel even more personal and heartfelt. The entire staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. And of course, sweet Tag — the on-site dog — added an extra layer of charm and cuddles to an already perfect experience.
We also stayed the night after the wedding, which was the perfect way to soak in every last moment before starting our honeymoon. This place will always hold such a special place in our hearts.
